Loved the SVJ *no bias for Lambo's at all* was a good all round car, but it suffered from a bit to much understeer at times, race 2 was also such a great battle Not that you see it in race 1, the corner going onto the bridge I locked up then understeered into the wall on lap 1 losing me some of the positions I gained haha
That first race was like a horror movies on that second lap with the 488. Look back suddenly there. Move forward, look back again and its RIGHT BEHIND YOU! lol
Would love to see you try out the Monthly Rivals in FH5 sometime, would be interesting to watch the progression of learning the car and track to setting your best time possible- all while giving something for everyone with the game to compare with. Not sure if the one starting tomorrow will have an interesting car, but the Ferrari this past month was a lot of fun.
The 488 Pista is my go-to S1 class car. It is an absolute beast in a straight line and has really good handling as well. I love letting the AWD cars take off and then chase them down too, so that makes for a super enjoyable racing experience online and against the AI.
Seems like this video backs up my thought about the Horizon Mexico circuit being one of the few tracks that doesn't seem to favor more power or more handling. My Gallardo LP 570 is slower than my '08 Viper ACR there, but my Aston Martin GT12 (which can corner _harder_ if not better and has more power) is still slower than the Viper and about on par with the Gallardo.
Started playing this game today and the first car built was the classic mini and the result was a jelly car that was rear wheel drive s1 class with the widest rear wheels and slick race tyres with an engine swap and it would only want to roll over sliding and just happen to touch the grass slightly
You can really make stunt races the likes of GTA V in Horizon 5. You guys should really try creating some tracks like you do for your GTA V series. It would be fun with all the licensed cars that are in Forza, too!
That McLaren surprised me a lot. I did expect good results, don't get me wrong, but not THAT good, it's insane and whoever drove it is also good with it. Btw do you have a modern muscle video and if not can you make it? I know you did the muscle vs tuner but I mean just muscle, and maybe a higher class than A since A is limiting quite a few muscle cars with stock high PI from good builds

And in the 2nd race where the vuhl was catching up in that turn after the chicane I feel Alex should have been down shifting to 3rd Instead of staying in 4th, I kept saying down shift. Lol. But all in all it was good racing.
You lot should do a challenge, basically you find the cheapest mid A class class car you can at auction, and see which one of you can build the best S1 class car out of that car, using only 50K in upgrades
RWD still gets dropped off the start, which is a huge advantage to the AWD cars. I think the AWD should be penalized more really, it's still disappointing
As a viewer, it’s much harder to judge the strengths and weaknesses of the higher-class cars. Maybe you could fill us in on that when you do this next time.
The Huracan P is a really crap car taking corners, it is not just plain understeer but the amount of steering the car provides for that long wheelbase; that is at least my take on how it behaves in FH5, even cheaper cars (even other lambos), work better.
In the actual races, poor grid positions cost the 720 a chance in them. But my God if you launch in 2nd, it's so fast in a straight line.
Promise I wasn't having a fit in the lambo at the start lol, just checking out the rear wheel steering haha

The rear wheel steering can provide unreal steering. I managed to do a 55.222 on estadio circuit in a rwd gt3 rs 2016 and that has rear wheel steering
Its fun to watch, and better that it finally exists in games.
Oddly absent from the Warthog though.

600LT had good launch, pretty good grip and an average top speed. But it was extreme close to Ford GT
And Alex though the fast classes wouldn't be any fun...

AWD cars are way more understeery in FH5 than in 4 I feel. I definitely prefer RWD cars in FH5.
