I tested a 75hp Scirocco and a 1775hp Chevy 150 Utility on some tracks and they were within 1 or 2 seconds 😊👍 EDIT: I did more builds and you can get some pretty OP cars like with a Ford Deluxe Coupe or a Ford F100. I also squeezed the Funko into the GMC Vandura. So there are some nice options.
TV doesn't need relaxation rn if it wants to have any chance against all the video on demand platforms, which is why everything everywhere is a bit hectic now

I have learned one thing. Never put a funco engine in a transit and expect it to be competent at circuits. Even if its on race tires. On the second track my B class builds go faster than that speedboat. And my game crashed before the 3rd race
The rule of no AWD may have probably just saved both Alex's builds this episode. And btw Double lucky dip when? Like lucky dip for PI and then lucky dip for the car right after.
Love the 355 in British racing green! Great choice. But maybe it's better to tune that aero, and suspension else there is little value to have the parts on. The sagaris had much more bite on those front tires and turn in balance. I understand you're not much into tuning, but it's worth having a couple of setups to adjust to the track particularities.
I think a David vs. Goliath would be cool to see, small little cars like Minis and Renaults vs. big trucks or SUVs. If the showdown mode works in FH5, having the big trucks one PI level above the small cars would make it even more interesting.
I noticed when you last ran the baja scramble you drove that dirt course like you do on pavement, which doesn't work. Loose is fast. I know of a few nice dirt tracks if you wanted to give them a try
Alex nice video, I have heard more than twice you complaining front end drip of your cars(inFH5) so is there any way to leverage Aero at front to increase Front end grip
The one and only race I ever competed in in this was back on forza Motorsport 4 on the 360, if I were to theoretically want to join one of these would it still be through the same old forums that he used to have?
Would love to see the return of the pi relay races, maybe 2 laps per car to accommodate the slightly shorter tracks in horizon compared to full motorsport tracks. Desperate for Playground games to fix the horizon online crap so we can get more variations!
The reason we don't really do relay races in Horizon is that it would have to be in freeroam (which doesn't work well still), as there's no drone cam for Alex to keep track otherwise

if you used one tick below those rear tires you used you'd be turning in much better I feel. Either that or your diff is pushing you too wide would be a second guess.
Wheel tends to be quite bad in horizon games if you're looking for speed. All of us are on a controller, and a few are on a PC and we're fine. Keyboard can be just as viable too, if you know how to use it
You can absolutely have fun in forza games on PC using xbox controller. I play most all my racing games on PC with xbox controllers including forza horizon 3-5

I’ve noticed Alex says “me and so and so” In the US that’s bad English, you’re supposed to say Impega and I… is that not the case in jolly ole England? I know, really effing random, but it’s been something I’ve been noticing in like every video lol.
In queens English, you would be correct, but Alex’s accent isn’t queens, it sounds mid shire to me, and it’s probably acceptable in that accent. Of course a lot of people think that Queens is the only “correct” accent and insist that it’s grammar rules are followed, but frankly, it’s a very old fashioned point of view.
Normally wouldn’t feel the need to say it Alex, but I’d call for a judges call on blocking russkiy in the first race. I feel he had a chance in the Peppa pig van and he lost a lot of positions rapidly after your manoeuvre on the corner.
that was not Alex's fault at all - he had the racing line and I simply could not control the bloody boat. If even if Alex would have left the door open for me I would have slowed down - again Transit is a Boat. And then when trying to defend from others, I made a mistake (again, I was driving a boat with a funco engine), and because of how close the pack was, I lost all the positions. So yeah, not Alex's fault
Some streamers have recently hosted polls during TH-cam streams and gotten upwards of 5x more poll votes than visible viewers. It's terrible. Apparently your view doesn't count if you have more than X tabs open on your browser, so I guess I'm a ghost writing this.
Remember when Alex and the crew used to invent games in Forza instead of just racing all the time? If I just want to see racing there are hundreds of other channels - Failrace was always best when they had challenges and crazy races in GTA V (like transform races, get the army upset with you races, etc.)

You should do racing but using the auto upgrade feature since they normally end up being worse than custom tunes

Can’t believe InvisibleAK was able to make the ATS-V work. I love the car with the widebody kit, but it feels uncompetitive as an A 800 or an S1 900.

Another suggestion: Build the lowest PI car you can. Challenge the others to all build one with the same or lower PI. Then race them.
PI bottoms out at 100, but it would be interesting to see some ultra-low PI racing, yeah
