@@jwalster9412 I'd be very bad person and chose something rear engined, go for race rear sway bars, max width front tires, max diameter rear rims and tons of power.
It could idd control the drift angle nicely, but had no lateral grip whatsoever making it impossible to carry any amount of speed through a corner. Granted, drifting it looked way more fun and engaging, but I wouldn't bet on it being any faster :p
Viable yes, but the Failrace crew has some gentlemen's agreements in place not to do things like wall riding, excessive corner cutting, intentional ramming, etc generally any stuff that would either get you penalized, or just plain wouldn't work IRL.
I don't know what engine was swapped in your 8L, but it was hilarious hearing it whine when you changed back to first gear coming out of slower corners :D

Well, it's not too bad because you have to put up the PI, however, the gearbox only goes up to 85 standard and 115 with an engine swap for B class. The hummer can have a 0-60 slower than the Unimog but the hummer will also have the better top speed.
Here's an idea: you're allowed to tune the cars that you build for someone else, but the builder has to set a lap time under a certain amount to prove that it's not completely impossible to drive.
That 8 Liter is angriest most vicious thing in 1st gear, then bogs down with absolutely nothing in 2nd gear. That has to be the most schizophrenic car ever😅 *That isn't intentionally tuned that way of course.
The Railton has mechanical brakes, activated by a metal rod. As have many cars in that era. And as we all know, metal rods usually aren't flexible enough to cope with the turning of the front wheels. Jay Leno just recently explained this in the beginning of a video about a 1933 Hispano-Suiza J12: th-cam.com/video/0oXVNqDVH9U/w-d-xo.html, which featured a flexible linkage to allow for front brakes - combined with a brake booster. The brilliant mind behind those inventions belonged to Marc Birkigt, a swiss engineer.

With their affinity for ramming, pushing, sliding out of control into everyone, and just general inconsiderate racing it was an act of pure genius on someone's part for giving gliscor a huge heavy 6x6. Talk about throwing brer rabbit into the briar patch, lol. I'm sure it was, as always, an act of pure coincidence that everyone they approach soon goes crashing into walls and sliding out of control allowing a pass.

aggressive is the most polite way to describe that. Maybe gliscor means "clean racing" in their galaxy, hence the name, lol. I just assume they're part of the crew to balance out Alex. He'll lose positions to avoid interfering with anyone else and often slow and let them pass if he does initiate contact whereas gliscor seems to prefer yeeting opponents off their line.

I get it. I apologised to speedbeast at the time, but its way less risky to just keep going when I'm in a huge ass car and slowing down could block the road.

Now I wanna see this but in BeamNG with the realistic damage and all that... not sure how you'd ensure that the cars were up to at least a certain standard, but it would be hilarious watching tires popping like crazy

I’m surprised nobody went for the *803hp 2JZ in a ‘74 Celica* strategy. That thing is utterly painful to drive. Even with TCS on, it still smokes both wheels in every gear.
would you ever do a race like this where you use builds submitted by viewers? could be a nice way to let the more active people in your community interact a bit :D
Would be interesting to see them take these cars an be given a budget of PI to add on parts that unlock tuning, and try to use tuning to fix them. So like cars that understeer can spend their budget to add a forza aero and add front end down force. Those with way over powered cars that are just spinning their wheels can throw in 5 Mile wide gears to try an reign in their wheel spin. But you have to make compromises on what you try to fix. So if you don't already have a adjustable gear box but need the added turn in. You have to pick.
Idea for a build: The massive Ford F450, AWD but tuned but all the power goes to the front wheels Massive rear wheels, tiny front wheels And massive power
Question: Does Forza have a realistic tyre wear setting? would be interesting on that 1200bhp RWD machine to burn through a set of tyres in less than a race :P

The Kinder Surprise Morris Marina..... The big surprise in it? After the race, just after Alex got out of the car, a piano landed on it, thanks to Careless Air's Mexico branch: "Aire de carga torpe" (And if anyone can guess what the English translation of that name is, have a cookie!)
I may have missed it, but do you know beforehand who you're building the car for? Or do you just build a car as bad as possible? (I think that makes a difference - knowing Alex prefers understeer, it might be better to build him a horribly oversteery car, for instance.)

See…much better than that GTA crap! Rockstar doesn’t deserve our time or money! What they deserve is for ALL players to Boycott them until they bring 8th gen consoles back into the fold of E&E! Stick with Forza and all of the other games you play and shelve GTA until Rockstar does more for players!

I would give a high top speed but no acceleration so the whole race is on the first gear.

The morris seems to be a car you just need to chuck around corners. The few times you did that you actually made up time

Aww, the Unimog is far and away the hardest vehicle to get moving quickly and would make excellent revenge fuel for this challenge!

That would fall under the simulation damage setting but Alex and the others don't run damage on
