As someone who played her a lot I would also not consider her S-tier but high A or low A+ tier.

I gave her just about the same placement, definately middle of the pack with a lot of strengths and weaknesses keeping her balanced but definately was put down too quickly by the community

how views change! glad you kept it fair and honest, you considered the views of top players but also checked their statements to give the character a fair review, nicely done!
I think this placement is fair. But I can see how people on multiple ends of the spectrum might disagree with it. The damage output is not good but her tools give her a wide set of option to hold her own in the matchups she's in. Aside I really want calling that Demon skill "The fly swatter" like I do to catch on, it's such a scary move.
Yeah her damage output isn't high, but one reason I do like using her for damage is that she barely needs bars to do decent damage which isn't the case with many high damagers like what Globku said, and they're pretty effortless
She’s definitely one of the best characters in the game.

I totally agree with your points. I hope other people are excited for gyutaro, unless he's super boring to play, I'm definitely going to main him REGARDLESS of how strong he is. His blood demon art is too cool :)
He’s almost guaranteed to have a poison mechanic like Shinobu, so regardless he’ll hopefully be really fun to play as

I think this is a fair placement. I think I would put her behind Rengoku and Giyū but I think that has something to do with how those two are easier to get into for me and Daki is hard to get right or for me to land the combos or techniques that I want. You need incredible timing on some of her things and it gets down to her being frustrating for me to play as.

2:38 THIS RIGHT HERE IS MY ISSUE WITH THE COMMUNITY lol. The fact they neglect to actually lab is a HUGE ISSUE. When they talk a bout a character being trash or being good. they NEED to put in the Lab work to really know what they are talking about. Knowing this is a absolute fact now. I wont ever take whatever the community says seriously (MINUS You) because you put the time when you can and cover the character as much as you can. you Lab as well. so yeah

I really liked this approach to this kind of video. Get a bunch of high profile players involved and test shit out. That seems like a much better method than people in the comments just stating their subjective experience as fact.

Welp ppl must remember that every list will be different, mostly there is nothing like good or bad tier list, just every tier is a personal opinion :v
I agree with your placement on daki, but i still think giyu and rengoku should be lower, specially giyu having a bad water wheel, it's got an annoying start up and can't switch out of it until he is back on the ground, he is super slow, dead calm is useless most of the time and his only way to actually get good damage in. And rengoku is just too unsafe, probably the easiest character to punish in the game, literally punishable in the middle of his tiger, and a pushblock after either tiger or tilt skill is a secured punish on him, he can't cancel anything, he takes 1.15 damage and doesn't do more damage than pretty much anyone on the roster to make up for those weaknesses. Just my opinion, and most demons not on S tier should probably go higher than where you placed them.

I would say daki is under rui only reason i say that is because ive had my friend test out who was better between rui nd daki nd it ended up being rui winning also even tho daki has a decent nutural i still say rui is best bc for rui you and actually have an anit push block against your opponent making it almost impossible for them to mash nd even if they do its just a punish for rui anyway

But she just isn't fun to play... at least for me and the most of OCE, also where's the discussion of switch tech? Switch is easily the most powerful tech in the game. A good switch tech'er will be able to beat just about anyone, especially demons (yes even akaza) that just don't have that path. Or what about heavy kings that can literally heavy into your reset?
