I'll also try to make a follow up video to the guard combo drop glitch as well. I provided examples for Sakonji and Murata since they were my main team for the longest time and the glitch directly affected my routes. For any one one wants to try it try any tight links you character has after guard break, it might not be you dropping the combo.

Agreed. Never thought about it that way and in this case it makes sense considering we aren’t able to play-test like the devs can. The risk of this being a final balance patch would be too high.

Hi Globku! I think I know who may have contacted you, as they have also been in touch with me/my community for a while. I was the one who made the document that Takuya showed you on stream. I think you did a very good job conveying points I was trying to make and stating other things I missed, as I was a little vague and may have sounded weird on things that I listed. (P.S I said I wasn't delusional/not mandela effect on 2 of them because the last time I told them about the thing I said, they said it was probably already in the game and I'm just seeing things). I think this video is very well made-out. Props to you for it and thank you for listing things wrong with characters/problems with the game and listing good suggestions instead of saying or telling them direct changes like "plz give nezuko 1.15", etc. Just like what you said at 1:05, we don't have a way to playtest certain things and we may come off as disrespectful. I think there were a few other bugs/issues that may be harmful to the game that you may have missed stating (double parry glitch, etc. you can contact me for them if you'd like) but overall, it was a great video, and I think the devs will take everything you listed into consideration when looking for nerfs or buffs. Great job Globku, +Respect earned for this one. Let's hope the balance changes they make will be healthy for the game :)
As little as I think it's going to happen, I would love it if you said something about about more skins as a bonus. Playing a character who only has one costume can't feel boring because of that lack of variety (looking at every demon and tengen)

As much as I love Urokodaki’s traps they really could use a buff, everything deletes them so they are worthless on neutral against a lot of characters and his resets can always be parried

Honestly most of what u said or written is what I though always anyways . Only thing I would add is too fix the other kick nezuko has , more accurately it’s hit box like sometimes I swear on life I parry or dodge it but it hits anyways . Also support tracking and when u hit a support it should disappear immediately not be a meat shield for a couple secs.
There should be a system similar to FighterZ where if you use your assist and you get hit your assist disappears without doing it's attack, since a lot of people like to use their assist when someone dashes at them so if they get hit, the assist will save them from a combo. Another issue with assist is that some people like to use them as shields since they don't take any damage. Yes when you hit an assist it doesn't do its attack but it also doesn't leave until you stop hitting it, giving your opponent a chance to hit you.

I know CC2 games are like this and maybe it’s hard to convey this to them as I’m not sure they’d really have the capacity to change it for this release… but honestly I would hope in some way they could do something about the button delay online. It’s literally the reason I dropped this game, I love the game and I would absolutely be playing it and buying all the DLC if The online experience wasn’t so awful. If I encounter a player with even a mediocre connection, the button delay just makes the game unbearable to play. It’s genuinely so frustrating because I love this game man like I was addicted to this game in the first few months but the button delay just killed it for me. Love your vids Globku! Hope some of this gets through!

thanks for mentioning giyu, he really needs a buff, dead calm is so bad, and he gets destroyed by demons, plus he has no pressure at all. But i also feel like rengoku needs a buff too, he has to be the easist character to punish, literally everything he does can be punished. Nezuko i think only that escape bug needs to change, and enmu, i think that he is good for chasing too, his range on melle plus pprojectiles make him a menace, if you try to dodge, his normal melee will get you, his projectiles plus grab make it really hard to just avoid him, and also his resets are literally unavoidable in many cases, unless you boost or use your ult, which is unfair, cause it forces you to waste your bar. I totally agree in general tho, great video.

Common Globku W helping to balance this game 🎉 I think you mentioned a lot of great stuff and am going about filling the document in a very smart and respectful way. With that being said, I think you should include some attack priority fixes in general. For example, free projectiles should not be able to destroy traps or other projectiles that cost meter imo. Also please at least make Rui able to cancel his projectiles with a dash/jump, bc him being the only demon incapable of doing that simply makes no sense.
I think they need to do something with push block. Push Block is a very very easy tool to just ignore pressure and reset to Neutral. Idk if they should make it cost half a meter bar or something or make it so that it uses some of your guard colour up but something needs to be changed about it. It's especially effective against characters that can't get it well or don't have a lot of pressure to begin with
Whilst I don’t disagree in principle, doing this would also massively change balance because characters like Giyu, Nezuko or Tengen can chase you down instantly to force more push block until you run out of meter or guard break. Besides, lots of characters can ignore push block entirely- hk tanjiro, Enmu, susa etc. I think rather than have push block take meter, it’s cancelling the push into something that costs extra.
Push block is alright as it is. If it gets a nerf, a lot of people are going to be spamming characters like Nezuko and Tengen who can chase you down and just ruin your day
I wish you had brought up approach/range more, a character's ability to approach and attempt to start a combo is arguably one of the most important factors. Akaza or Nezuko for example, both of their tilt skills let them get in your face realtively quickly and make it harder to dodge. Characters like OG Inosuke (i do not take his neutral skill into mind because of its slowness,) and Sabito do not have this. When Akaza uses disorder, he takes a big step forward before punching. Meanwhile with Sabitos flowing dance, he starts slashing immediately at the place he is and catching opponents with it is especially hard because of that combined with his very slow movement speed.
The trouble input glitch also happened with akaza’s disorder if you do it immediately after hitting disorder and keep the stick tilted but without hitting the button will make the move come out a second time.
Absolute W video. You nailed everything perfectly, just one thing I would add is crossplay between platform would really help with the game population and the matchmaking who put you way too often against either new player who just started the game or the sweatiest tryhard you've ever seen.
removing the push block lunge punish would be the best thing in my oppinion because it will encourage an aggressive playstyle instead off the passive playstyle that the game wants you to play in order to win
For the changes on Sabito, everything i agree with but i would also like for his Flowing Dance to have priority on approach. Similar to water wheel it is an advancing move, that is often stopped with a dash or a light when the skill is active on screen. The first two hits often don’t register so you’re only getting a possibility of landing it when it’s active. should someone dash or do light attacks (Mele) at you, It should punish Whirlpool recovery being faster would be better as well as Color skins for all characters to be chosen. Giving us a bit more freedom to be our own slayers or demons aside from the two colors given (which i wish we could pick)
@@doodun3619 you can be stopped by a dash either way. Jumping makes you vulnerable, the skill can still be stopped with a dash. Sabito is strict proactive timing. If you’re not thinking a few steps ahead in any fight, you’re losing; with him it just needs to be even further ahead of thinking
You all forgot one of the most important things about sabito that being increasing the hit box in his flowing water dance sometimes players literally dash through it or combo through it

Can devs fix rengoku’s drop combo? During rengoku’s air combo after a knock down with the blazing universe or flame tiger, if you don’t wait and time your hit right, there’s a chance he’ll drop on his 4 hit in the auto combo as it’s a low hit. It’s very inconsistent at times and is a huge punish that can cost you the match if not timed properly.
As weird as this may sound, a general change I'd love to see is the ability to toggle combing the Academy Characters with their normal counterparts kind of the same way Smash has that option with Echo Fighters. They're already just costumes with a unique ultimate so it makes the character select screen look unnecessarily cluttered to me, I'd love to be able to toggle them with either picking the last slot costume or using a different button to switch to them. I only bring this up because we know they can add more slots to the character select screen, so removing should also be an option.
Could rengoku’s blazing universe hit a couple of frames earlier because sometimes it’s really frustrating when another move hits before yours. Overall I think his neutral is not good because he can’t cancel the blazing universe or it doesn’t hit, etc

It makes me really happy to see devs and players so dedicated on making this game the best it can be, this is such an unusual move on this kind of productions!
One general thing I would like to change is that when Slayers use an assist and get hit, that assist should go away as you can start a combo and get punished for it when u won the interaction. Having the assist active on block is fine, but you should not be punished for winning an interaction.
Rengokus dmg scaling i would say needs to be adjusted a bit because he can do rather 5 skills in a row and actively do more then half your health in one combo.
I know they're asking for balance patches and I get it. But it would be fantastic if they can update the offline training mode so it gives players the ability to lab solo so the community can actually learn the game more so it can help with future balance changes and suggestions. Besides that in my opinion when I think about the tricky balance section of your video. That character to me might just need a substantial rework. Because a character like him needs to lose a lot but still have a good amount of strong tools to work within the game. I look forward to what they do with this in the future
Balance patch or not I’ll still play Akaza, I played him before his buff and I’ll play him if he gets a nerf. I’m happy to see some interaction from the devs rather than none at all (not saying any names).
Along with the bugs the ranking system is bugged. Players can stop receiving or losing points and the game stops tracking their progress. It’s happened to players like deibio, wild and myself. Hoping it gets put on the bugs list but it’s not as bad as some in match bugs
Globku I am a very dedicated inosuke main and I wish you would read this and find out inosuke can do more than one boar rush in a combo with the use of certain characters assists like giyu,tengen,nezuko and urukodaki I feel like if more people knew this inosuke would be seen in a better light.
Rui needs buffs, his tilt demon skill doesn’t have much utility. If he uses it against a range character they can either break it or zone him out. His neutral skill should either be faster or he should send out 2 more webs and he should be able to dash for free right after sending them out. Rui tilt skill needs to change I’m just not sure how.

Thank you for including Giyuu. He has a ton of trouble with pressure unless you spend all of your meter which giyuu desperately needs for his combos. If giyuu gets a level 2 dash speed it would help him tremendously. I agree with everything you said! I'm praying for these changes.
honestly i agree with air spin recovery as a zen main and this won’t affect anything because all of his optimals are without it so perfect nerf for him
my biggest issues are definitely input delay and hurtboxes… when you’re in the air attacks will simply hit just because. this is most prevalent on dashes…. regarding input delay, its simply horrendous. theres no other word for it. while playing online, there will be a significant delay no matter how good or bad either players connection is. it makes the game insanely frustrating
If you could also suggest to add costume options for entertainment district Zenitsu and Tanjiro, that'd be great lmao(I know it won't happen, but I can dream)
I feel like Nezuko is fine she's a solid charecter with good damage and skills we have other problematic charecters in the game to worry about not to mention more charecters soon to come so nerfing her just doesn't seem right. Shinobu takes too much damage for how little damage she does they need to either buff her damage or lower her damage multiplier and make poison kill or if not make it kill then make her dp armored she's one of the only charecters if not the only one who has a aireal dp that isn't armored. Other than that you've said mostly everything that needs to be said (side note: we need more costumes it'll help for mirror match confusion and its just nice to be able to customize charecters currently not a single demon has more than one costume)
Rui REALLY needs to have cancellable projectiles, especially since he is using meter for the skill, its like a punishment for using his meter, but not in a fair way...

Well I’m hoping that Tengen could be buffed a little bit, his damage is fine but his speed is really slow, so I was hoping that he could attack a little faster.
If you're talking about his skill attacks, the slow start-up on neutral skill is PERFECT for an assist since it can bait parries and tilt skill is just fine since it's still fast enough to be hard to react to at a certain distance. Outside of that, Tengen isn't slow?
Add more gamemodes to make the game more fun and casual friendly as the game itself is more towards competitive players. (Not a patch note but i need this game to have fishing)
As a day one Akaza main, I agree but considering he takes the most damage in the game, it feels like it would weaken him to when he was first launched.
Just from the very start of the video, I _really like_ how considerate and respectful Globku is being about the whole thing, and making it a point to not only be cautious but not to be selfish in taking advantage of this. Qualities I would love to see more of in people today. (^~^;)ゞ

The one thing I hated about the insect pillar is that her poison doesn’t kill you even If you’re one HP you can poison the character and the poison would not kill you it’s stupid what is the poison there for
Balance Changes that you didn’t mention that I feel like should have made it in. Makomo -Better Tracking on Makomo’s assists (Her Waterwheel Assist is awful at tracking the same is for her water surface slash but not as much) Shinobu -Make Poison Kill Nerf Push Blocking -Make it so you can push block less or make push block into tilt normal attacks less effective so people will play more aggressive. Rui -Make either his neutral skill or tilt skill cancellable at the cost of meter allowing him to dash or jump out of it. Tengen -Hitbox buff on the guard skill Nezuko -Heelbash hitbox nerf

Not sure if this is what you meant with Akaza's compass needle bug, but Akaza also has iFrames during compass needle and he really shouldn't imo. I noticed that while playing Daki and using her demon skill that has armor. My attack just glided through Akaza without affecting him. Oh also you should be able to dodge out of the range of Akazas compass needle. It's range is way to much. Make it smaller radius. Edit: oh and as a Daki main, I'd wish her guard skill had armor on startup and not like half a second after. Makes it so that if you push block and then guard skill while your opponent is mashing you still get hit :/ Editedit: Unrelated to balancing it would be cool if the devs could overhaul the CPU 1v1 battle because the CPU bots suck ass even on hardest difficulty. We know the player base for this game is low. it will only get lower. So eventually all we will have left is the cpu so it would be nice if it could at least use combos. Editeditedit: one more thing they def should fix is the problem that on keyboard you have to delay keystrokes for parry's or strong attack which makes it so that often you fuck them up. You have to press the attck or block button like 1/4th of a second after you press the movement key for it to work. If you actually press them simultaneous it doesn't work.
i played a little of this game. its a little weird cause i used to play storm 4 and theres no substitution equivalent. the new gameplay style was interesting but id find myself getting caught in combos that deal way too much damage. its still fun tho and i was hoping for a sequal with a bigger roster instead of just dlcs so i can just buy that. Hope the fanbase gets their patch.
Amazing video right off the bat but one thing i hope you include is to nerf the ED tanjiro, more specifically clear blue skies. I think for a gaurd skill its way too safe and isnt even parryable. And im sure anyone who has ever fought this character knows just how much this move is spammed. I also think water tanjiros strong attack needs better tracking
Clear blue skies costs 1 bar for around 600 damage or something like that, so that in it itself isn't that great. While not parryable, parrying still works because you're able to punish him afterwards. To punish clear blue skies effective as well, you have to push-block it, which isn't that hard to do. If someone is spamming the move in a match, you can predict it easily.
@@animositylol im going to sound like an ass here so ima be a little goofy with this response, for starters, the move does 1200, thats just 200 less from water tanjiros whirlpool so damage doesnt matter here. Time for the goof, muratas gaurd skill does zero damage and you cant switch or cancel out until he finishes talking :p
@@benstealer7302 you're right it does do 1200- regardless, its not that big and if you're getting hit by it constantly in neutral then its more of a player problem than the character also, you can switch out of murata's cheer just fine.

thanks for mentioning giyu, he really needs a buff, dead calm is so bad, and he gets destroyed by demons, plus he has no pressure at all. But i also feel like rengoku needs a buff too, he has to be the easist character to punish, literally everything he does can be punished. Nezuko i think only that escape bug needs to change, and enmu, i think that he is good for chasing too, his range on melle plus pprojectiles make him a menace, if you try to dodge, his normal melee will get you, his projectiles plus grab make it really hard to just avoid him, and also his resets are literally unavoidable in many cases, unless you boost or use your ult, which is unfair, cause it forces you to waste your bar. I totally agree in general tho, great video.

Common Globku W helping to balance this game 🎉 I think you mentioned a lot of great stuff and am going about filling the document in a very smart and respectful way. With that being said, I think you should include some attack priority fixes in general. For example, free projectiles should not be able to destroy traps or other projectiles that cost meter imo. Also please at least make Rui able to cancel his projectiles with a dash/jump, bc him being the only demon incapable of doing that simply makes no sense.
I kinda wanna see a mode for creating and posting combos similar to GGS. I personally think that that would neat.
And a tournament mode as well, that would also be cool

I think they need to do something with push block. Push Block is a very very easy tool to just ignore pressure and reset to Neutral. Idk if they should make it cost half a meter bar or something or make it so that it uses some of your guard colour up but something needs to be changed about it. It's especially effective against characters that can't get it well or don't have a lot of pressure to begin with

Whilst I don’t disagree in principle, doing this would also massively change balance because characters like Giyu, Nezuko or Tengen can chase you down instantly to force more push block until you run out of meter or guard break.
Besides, lots of characters can ignore push block entirely- hk tanjiro, Enmu, susa etc. I think rather than have push block take meter, it’s cancelling the push into something that costs extra.

Push block is alright as it is. If it gets a nerf, a lot of people are going to be spamming characters like Nezuko and Tengen who can chase you down and just ruin your day

I wish you had brought up approach/range more, a character's ability to approach and attempt to start a combo is arguably one of the most important factors. Akaza or Nezuko for example, both of their tilt skills let them get in your face realtively quickly and make it harder to dodge. Characters like OG Inosuke (i do not take his neutral skill into mind because of its slowness,) and Sabito do not have this. When Akaza uses disorder, he takes a big step forward before punching. Meanwhile with Sabitos flowing dance, he starts slashing immediately at the place he is and catching opponents with it is especially hard because of that combined with his very slow movement speed.
The trouble input glitch also happened with akaza’s disorder if you do it immediately after hitting disorder and keep the stick tilted but without hitting the button will make the move come out a second time.
Absolute W video. You nailed everything perfectly, just one thing I would add is crossplay between platform would really help with the game population and the matchmaking who put you way too often against either new player who just started the game or the sweatiest tryhard you've ever seen.
crossplay is hard to implement with the current netcode
removing the push block lunge punish would be the best thing in my oppinion because it will encourage an aggressive playstyle instead off the passive playstyle that the game wants you to play in order to win

For the changes on Sabito, everything i agree with but i would also like for his Flowing Dance to have priority on approach. Similar to water wheel it is an advancing move, that is often stopped with a dash or a light when the skill is active on screen. The first two hits often don’t register so you’re only getting a possibility of landing it when it’s active. should someone dash or do light attacks (Mele) at you, It should punish
Whirlpool recovery being faster would be better as well as Color skins for all characters to be chosen. Giving us a bit more freedom to be our own slayers or demons aside from the two colors given (which i wish we could pick)

@@doodun3619 you can be stopped by a dash either way. Jumping makes you vulnerable, the skill can still be stopped with a dash. Sabito is strict proactive timing. If you’re not thinking a few steps ahead in any fight, you’re losing; with him it just needs to be even further ahead of thinking
You all forgot one of the most important things about sabito that being increasing the hit box in his flowing water dance sometimes players literally dash through it or combo through it

Can devs fix rengoku’s drop combo? During rengoku’s air combo after a knock down with the blazing universe or flame tiger, if you don’t wait and time your hit right, there’s a chance he’ll drop on his 4 hit in the auto combo as it’s a low hit. It’s very inconsistent at times and is a huge punish that can cost you the match if not timed properly.
As weird as this may sound, a general change I'd love to see is the ability to toggle combing the Academy Characters with their normal counterparts kind of the same way Smash has that option with Echo Fighters. They're already just costumes with a unique ultimate so it makes the character select screen look unnecessarily cluttered to me, I'd love to be able to toggle them with either picking the last slot costume or using a different button to switch to them. I only bring this up because we know they can add more slots to the character select screen, so removing should also be an option.

One general thing I would like to change is that when Slayers use an assist and get hit, that assist should go away as you can start a combo and get punished for it when u won the interaction. Having the assist active on block is fine, but you should not be punished for winning an interaction.
They have to nerf enmu’s basic air projectiles, to slightly nerf the tracking on them the ones in his basic combos are ok as it is

I know they're asking for balance patches and I get it. But it would be fantastic if they can update the offline training mode so it gives players the ability to lab solo so the community can actually learn the game more so it can help with future balance changes and suggestions.
Besides that in my opinion when I think about the tricky balance section of your video. That character to me might just need a substantial rework. Because a character like him needs to lose a lot but still have a good amount of strong tools to work within the game.

Along with the bugs the ranking system is bugged. Players can stop receiving or losing points and the game stops tracking their progress. It’s happened to players like deibio, wild and myself. Hoping it gets put on the bugs list but it’s not as bad as some in match bugs

Globku I am a very dedicated inosuke main and I wish you would read this and find out inosuke can do more than one boar rush in a combo with the use of certain characters assists like giyu,tengen,nezuko and urukodaki I feel like if more people knew this inosuke would be seen in a better light.
If you ask me enmu grab should be more punishable on miss because of the range.
Rui needs buffs, his tilt demon skill doesn’t have much utility. If he uses it against a range character they can either break it or zone him out. His neutral skill should either be faster or he should send out 2 more webs and he should be able to dash for free right after sending them out. Rui tilt skill needs to change I’m just not sure how.
I think his tilt skill is fine but tilt demon skill and neutral skill could use those suggested tweeks or different tweeks

Thank you for including Giyuu. He has a ton of trouble with pressure unless you spend all of your meter which giyuu desperately needs for his combos. If giyuu gets a level 2 dash speed it would help him tremendously. I agree with everything you said! I'm praying for these changes.

honestly i agree with air spin recovery as a zen main and this won’t affect anything because all of his optimals are without it so perfect nerf for him
my biggest issues are definitely input delay and hurtboxes… when you’re in the air attacks will simply hit just because. this is most prevalent on dashes…. regarding input delay, its simply horrendous. theres no other word for it. while playing online, there will be a significant delay no matter how good or bad either players connection is. it makes the game insanely frustrating

I feel like Nezuko is fine she's a solid charecter with good damage and skills we have other problematic charecters in the game to worry about not to mention more charecters soon to come so nerfing her just doesn't seem right. Shinobu takes too much damage for how little damage she does they need to either buff her damage or lower her damage multiplier and make poison kill or if not make it kill then make her dp armored she's one of the only charecters if not the only one who has a aireal dp that isn't armored. Other than that you've said mostly everything that needs to be said (side note: we need more costumes it'll help for mirror match confusion and its just nice to be able to customize charecters currently not a single demon has more than one costume)

If you're talking about his skill attacks, the slow start-up on neutral skill is PERFECT for an assist since it can bait parries and tilt skill is just fine since it's still fast enough to be hard to react to at a certain distance. Outside of that, Tengen isn't slow?

Not sure if this is what you meant with Akaza's compass needle bug, but Akaza also has iFrames during compass needle and he really shouldn't imo. I noticed that while playing Daki and using her demon skill that has armor. My attack just glided through Akaza without affecting him. Oh also you should be able to dodge out of the range of Akazas compass needle. It's range is way to much. Make it smaller radius.
Edit: oh and as a Daki main, I'd wish her guard skill had armor on startup and not like half a second after. Makes it so that if you push block and then guard skill while your opponent is mashing you still get hit :/
Editedit: Unrelated to balancing it would be cool if the devs could overhaul the CPU 1v1 battle because the CPU bots suck ass even on hardest difficulty. We know the player base for this game is low. it will only get lower. So eventually all we will have left is the cpu so it would be nice if it could at least use combos.
Editeditedit: one more thing they def should fix is the problem that on keyboard you have to delay keystrokes for parry's or strong attack which makes it so that often you fuck them up. You have to press the attck or block button like 1/4th of a second after you press the movement key for it to work. If you actually press them simultaneous it doesn't work.

i played a little of this game. its a little weird cause i used to play storm 4 and theres no substitution equivalent. the new gameplay style was interesting but id find myself getting caught in combos that deal way too much damage. its still fun tho and i was hoping for a sequal with a bigger roster instead of just dlcs so i can just buy that. Hope the fanbase gets their patch.

Amazing video right off the bat but one thing i hope you include is to nerf the ED tanjiro, more specifically clear blue skies. I think for a gaurd skill its way too safe and isnt even parryable. And im sure anyone who has ever fought this character knows just how much this move is spammed.
I also think water tanjiros strong attack needs better tracking
Clear blue skies costs 1 bar for around 600 damage or something like that, so that in it itself isn't that great. While not parryable, parrying still works because you're able to punish him afterwards. To punish clear blue skies effective as well, you have to push-block it, which isn't that hard to do. If someone is spamming the move in a match, you can predict it easily.

Time for the goof, muratas gaurd skill does zero damage and you cant switch or cancel out until he finishes talking :p
