Globku wat are u smoking to come up with this list? I need that
I don't think Rui is bad. In fact he's one of the best characters in the game. However, the placement you gave him is pretty close to what I would say because of several reasons. 1 representation. He's not played by a lot of players which, while giving the surprise factor, means that new tech is rare. 2 He's particularly weak against any other zoner, because he has the least number of projectiles which also deal the least damage, aside from normal attack arrow demon. He also has a speed weakness against makomo which is one more character to deal with 3 he's almost always represented purely as a zoner and for players that only use him in such a way he becomes very vulnerable to assist plays. 4 (this point is solely based off my own experience) it takes a lot of effort to learn perfect timing with rui in order to do resets and or more optimal combos in comparison to that of other characters. (Note: bullet points over) I do think rui is better than almost every character in the game on a statistical and scientific 1 to 1 comparative scaling. Unfortunately when playing ladder or tourny it becomes less diverse in character selection. Rui is great but match specific, to the point of which that for example: against akaza, sussamaru, or yahaba. It becomes an instant lose. And against other characters such as shinobu, water tanjiro, or yushiro. It almost feels like a guaranteed win. Of course there are exceptions. But I think overall a good honest opinion from Globku. I would've personally put rui at the top of regular A teir or bottom of A+, but maybe as a rui player that enjoys the character so much that I haven't played other characters sense release and grinded to rank 5, maybe, my appreciation of the intricacies of the character is weighting the decision. In any case the tier list is pretty accurate. Good work Globku. 👍

Seeing Murata in A tier is pretty cursed but understandable
personally, i love it. he's a joke character, yes. but still, the fact that he isnt bad makes it even funnier

It feels so weird that Akaza used to be called bad and now he’s in S+ above Enmu, Nezuko and Susamaru
I still feel like he's overrated, especially in the realities of online play- the input delay makes many of his best moves reactable and he has few truly safe options. With no delay he's great, but with it he loses to, say, Rui in a lot of situations thanks to those buttons.
@@rakshithanand8262 I would actually say it's the contrary bro... Thanks to the delay, it's sooo hard to react to his dashes, Disorder or Annihilation Type. He can run away or get in your face in the way that only he can do and on top of that he deals a ton of dmg (not even mentionning the Compass Needle bug where he can parry even if he whiffs it)

Btw I completely agree with you guys. Akaza is super meter hungry if he wants to be safe so at the beginning of matches he has to play really well. Then a lot of his options are really risky depending on the amount of meter he has. Just wasting 2 meter already puts him in a position where it feels like his dmg and chances of opening you up are slim unless he catches u off guard with a dash. The only threat in his tools is his dash because it basically saves his downsides in neutral when online but without it he can’t really defend himself unless he keeps on bursting. His surge is also really good but offline as long as you can react to his grab it’s really hard to do really anything with it. If u whiff compass needle it’s an ez grab then run away.
And i'm all here for it, I've played him since day 1 when he has trash and will keep playing him until the day i die

Akaza really deserves that spot, everyone got to love Akaza as a character in this game and in the tournaments it really shows, like you said, it’s not a guaranteed win, but people just were able to discover so much of this character
Every character is great if given some time to learn and Akaza is the best example right now

I’m kinda sad that Akaza is so strong and played so often. I miss being an early akaza player when he was weaker and not seen very often. Outplaying my opponent with his insane speed was just so perfect. Him being S is cool though it’s where he was always meant to be

Aside from character adjustments, I'm thinking some quality of life changes and some new system mechanics might be needed to level the playing field. I still believe in this game and am excited to see what comes next competitively.
He's probably the character I play the most. besides Giyu. and Yahaba.

@@terakoinfinity9523 Brawl meta knight isn't as bad as people say he is so I would agree that Akaza is in a similar spot. With brawl MK all of his broken stuff you could easily counter if you knew how to. He was still a great character but he wasn't unbeatable like smash 4 bayo.

@@ayelocatihwkw1003 for now u can get all characters for free, but there will pe a paid dlc that gives you tengen, zenitsu/tanjiro and insokuke from entertainment district, nezuko adult form, gyutaro and daki those 7 will all be paid characters

Amazing tier list actually but even tho i still agree with most parts i still feel like there are some minor issues i have with it. For example zen being in S-Tier or like Rui being in the bottom of A-Tier. Its insane how good Akaza is rn so him being in a whole other Tier is the best choice you could of done

I’m glad Sabito moved up because everyone had him at the bottom. He’s actually really capable of good damage as his heavy is one of his biggest assets. Hope they fix his issues and give him a little more damage for his abilities

i always loved akaza and its been a bumpy road but man i love this character he's fun as hell most of my play time is on akaza, zenitzu being a close 2nd but i just love speed and raw hand to hand fighters. mobility is king!

-reset him and as well break im woth is demon bar. His damage is really dencent as well

It hurts to yushiro at the bottom but it’s so true, I played him for so long cause he was so fun and Tamayo was great for helping and getting free combos but his counter doesn’t work well as much now and if you don’t use all your bars you can’t do damage.

My current mains are Zenitsu, Susamaru and Akaza. I play Akaza more than everyone just because he's so fun and I've been playing him since he came out. Honestly, for an arena fighter, all of these characters are pretty unique. Can't wait for Tengen

honestly just as Glob said i don't think the players are getting carried by the character these players are really good! But Akaza has so much success for a reason!
the character reward is huge and he has both amazing advantage and disadvantage states! Boost and Surge are pretty much a free out of jail card when it comes to time outs
surge on it's self is like a free pressure all you like button (more so than other characters!) and the only match up he strugles is the mirror match up!
I feel like giyu is low s or atleast high a+ as he can counter some of akaza's moves aswell he can also dash then dead calm other than that the tier list is pretty solid

Urokodaki is actually pretty underated assist it's good if you're in a reset if you quickly summon him his waterfall is clutch

it's crazy how ppl complained about Tanjiros water wheel when the game came out but didn't care when it came to Enmu spamming range attacks

Yushiro actually gets above average damage for meter if you use the poison in combos. You can actually combo it into grab at the end of combos aswell.
I’m a Yushiro main in training and I can tell you, I use that reset alot, but players react to it and just move aside, it's not working anymore
@@Makoyoyo its not a reset its an actual combo. It doesnt show you the true damage as the extra poison damage doesnt show in training mode but i assure you its over 4k for like 2 bars and 1 demon call. You can add me on psn or social media and i can send u a vid of how to do it if you want. Im not saying hes top tier or anything his neuch still blows but if you know the routes combo damage is good.

See I believe that Sabito deserves to be at least bottom of the A tier. As a Sabito main, I find it easy to deal a lot of damage just based off of 2 bars of meter alone. I mainly use The 3rd form And the Waterfall to help deal a lot of damage, and it's easy for him to recover and even get ready to parry a move from an opponent
One thing I find funny about Nezuko is that if you do the Crazy Scratches raw people for whatever reason think you can just run into it and it’s kinda funny how many matches I won cause of that.
It's good to see Zenitsu get S tier well he deserves it

This tier list makes a lot more sense. Enmu and Susamaru were a problem since they came out. Akaza got a pass for a while and I think it's because it's still fun to play against Akaza compared to the free projectile types.
i personally think that Zenitsu and Inosuke support is one of the best combos in the game right now. both of them pretty much cover each other backs while playing together.

One thing I want to say:
Susamaru is the best zoner as long as she ISNT fighting yahaba. Because for some reason yahaba performs much better against demons than slayers.
Susa vs Yahaba match up sucks because of his sheer number of projectiles he throws it’s near impossible to hit him your own projectile. Not to mention demons don’t have assists like slayers so you can’t just wait yahaba out and call an assist to clips him from the side.
Really hopes they make a way to deal with zoners easier. It’s a bit overdue.
Also don’t like how inconsistent push block is. Makes some moves safe but makes others unsafe.
Man I'm a susumaru main and I've never had a yahaba beat me it usually just ends in 3 perfects
This guy doesn't know the character. She can't be outspammed literally because of her standing demon ability, guard skill and tilt skill. Six free projectile clanking shots, a dash that ignores all projectiles and an attack that's secretly a free dash. Her heavy and tilt demon ability are dashes too when you think about it.
Her fully charged guard skill invalidates projectiles such as Enmu's, Akaza's or Yahaba's or her own. If your opponent jumps and spams, they're literally just a target for fully charged guard skill.
I lost to one Yahaba and it was because he had three bars of Namco juice and I only had two. You should only be losing to Akaza with one or more demon skill bars and Nezuko assist if you're playing Susa the way she's intended. You can do whatever, because she has options but your jab is frame 5 and your intangibles aren't frame 1. Don't go too crazy
@@emiliasmaid6215 a good yahaba will completely body. Speaking from tournament experience. Only get in tool Susa has is the fully charged guard skill, but even that is inconstent because a stray arrow can still clip her and prevent a combo.
@@Mahamaru no she can be out spammed. Yahaba projectiles are multiple while Susa is singular. Only her barrage demon skill contests it and even then yahaba can cancel out every single projectile and still have projectiles on screen afterwards. Susa can not outpace yahaba projectiles.
And I’ll say this somewhere else, but yes, invincible guard skill is a great option. But even then, I’ve had countless times after I do hit the kick through some arrows the back of the arrow still clips me and I get punished for making a right decision.
And no, bounding is by definition not spammable if you can only use it twice before your demon gauge is gone, not to mention risking not being able to escape a combo when you do so.
When yahaba faces someone that relies on projectiles he is one of the must frustrating characters to fight. Tilt skill gets blocked by a stray arrow from the side, rocks come out multiple times and beats Susa tilt skill, demon gauge can be used to catch Susa in her recover frames from tilt skill.
Susa is an overall better character it just that yahaba excels at beating other zoners. Especially when demons can’t run around and call an assist similar to a slayer in order to deal with him an easier way.
And no her heavy is not a dash or anything similar. It leaves you air borne. Nothing similar to a dash.
And it’s not like I can learn to counterplay more since almost no one plays him except when the person need to deal with Susa. I ended up just switching to Yushiro if I ever fight a yahaba.
@@terrakage4462 honestly it doesn't matter a good susumaru should never lose to a yahaba plus her guard skill is very consistent. Plus if you go off reaction and wait for yahaba to do an action it's just gg you cant even say the guard skill is all she has her demon skill literally will out zone yahaba all he can do is his toggle attack or his demon gauge skill but even then both players will get hit resulting in no punish. I guess yahaba can win with projectiles if he gets alot out but a good susumaru will never allow any action from yahaba. Then again most people in the wanted tournaments dont play her to her full potential from what I've seen.
I have no opposition against the tier list except akaza but I really can’t figure out how to use him. I will keep the tier list in mind as I am thinking of online team, but I would like your opinion on the rengoku and nezuko team. Keep up the good work and I would like to see a new version with the dlc’s and constant updates for when new tech is discovered, unless that is too much.

Akaza's position is more accurate to the show than before but I have more difficulty to play against Enmu players because of the resets and spamming combos. His grab pisses me off a lot and I think it should be nerfed really hard
I agree here his combo resets are a little annoying and barely has any openings
AGREED. Don’t get me wrong, Akaza is good, but Enmu and Susa are just way more oppressive when doing against imo. I even think Rui is more annoying to fight(not better but just more annoying). I would rather fight Akaza than Enmu or Susa for sure tho.
What worries me is that they’re gonna end up killing him due to how good the community sees him now in a patch. All I think they should do is make his demon skill “Annihilation” punishable on block, get rid of that invincibility thing he has with compass needle on the way down so that it can’t be parried and punished with heavies, and maybe tone his speed down slightly to maybe Shinobu level. (Idk about that one tho, mainly the first two changes.) I don’t have much of an issue with him besides this. I feel like anything more might be overkill.
So that it can* be punished with heavies and counters. Made a mistake and said so it can’t. For some reason that’s how it is rn.

Honestly Giyu should be higher, even though he is a only mid range fighter there is a combo loop that you could do to get a guaranteed win with him in, unless your opponent has a combo break or something
@Globku I almost entirely agree with this tier list, the only thing that doesn't really match is that Yahaba should be higher. He has insane damage plus all the tools that you mentioned. My man getting TODs on boost not even surge and his MU against Enmu is literally 9-1 damn near unplayable if the yahaba knows the MU. That should be free everytime if the Yahaba knows the MU. Enmu and Susa can switch place that is arguable but Yahaba should def be higher. Anyway this is my opinion on your tier list, nothing more and it's definitely a good one.

When i first started playing i mained Sabato with shinobu assist and it worked great for me, it still works pretty good since its what ive used most of my time playing. But there are 100% some hard matchups. I was going to main Akaza when he dropped, just because he is my favorite character in the show. But i havent been playing as much as i would like.

I’m so glad I was a Akaza main even before like he was so cracked and stuff and on the top of tier lists, now I’m practically a step ahead of sweats ahahaha!
Rui should be a higher tier his damage is low but his combos take very low meter and he can zone, yes he can’t zone for free but when you only need two bars for a combo you can use the other bars to zone and his hits have hella range like madara from storm 4 so he’s rly hard to punish

He's just a character with clear strengths and weaknesses and people who hated on him simply have a hate boner for zoners in general.
Also glad to see hinokami so high up there, he definitely ain't the best but he's pretty fucking strong regardless.
