Wow Man, If Milwaukee ever sees this video, they should definitely consider bringing you onto their design team. You have done a great job on all this stuff. Kudos to you. Very creative.
Thanks man! I’ve actually made even more Rails mods since this video. And I have reasons to believe Milwaukee has seen my stuff… just waiting on the offer letter 😂
Dang!... You have some really cool products!.. You have obviously spent a lot of time designing some really practical products. Great Job!.. That's really cool that the person can decide which cover plate they want for the corner. Well done!!!
Good work man. This was a well put together video. I'm familiar with a few of your products but this rundown really did a nice delving into the full line. The side "Handlers" and the Nohlster bins are innovative in all the right ways. It'll be time to go shopping for me again soon enough....
Great mods buddy. Perhaps you’d be interested looking into the new Klein Tools mod box that was just released. Would like to see you make some awesome stuff for that system since I’ll be getting myself a set.
You seem to be the go to guy for Milwaukee Packout systems. I just purchased at a Home Depot 6 Gal. Portable Electric Pancake Air Compressor, comes with: 16 Gauge Straight Finish Nailer 18 Gauge Finish Stapler 18 Gauge Finish Stapler How would I store these safely in a packout system? Thanks
Can you add your website in your TH-cam bio? I know it’s as easy as me looking it up. But you know convenience. Great products tho I’m looking forward to buying some for my set up.
Damn brotha that is awesome u make the aftermarket for Milwaukee tools accessories gonna buy from u oh was gonna ask what about like non Milwaukee pack outs do u also 3d print so any other box can fit with the packout
Cool tips and products. This system is so versatile. Have you made or thought about making replacements for the actual rails themselves? I have 4 of the small boxes (the smallest of the classic 3 stack). The one with rails that are like 3” tall. I’ve looked everywhere for aftermarket ones that are anodized a different color for the purpose of identifying certain boxes. There’s not a single thing out there like that. I don’t see why a 3D printed wouldn’t be sufficient. I don’t hang anything from them
It looks like I’m going to have to. When I just had two boxes, I took one set out and painted them black with a more durable paint, almost like a bedliner. It was a super tight fit, going back in and scraped paint off in several places. it just isn’t a great look.
I just purchased the Milwaukee Precision Screwdriver Set (6-Piece) Model # 48-22-2606 And the Milwaukee 1000V Insulated Screwdriver Set with Case (10-Piece) Model # 48-22-2210 What inovated way to store these in a Pack out system? Thanks
By connecting the rails of two boxes? (Like drawers) or just connecting them to make a longer dolly? Have u considered a piece of plywood with aftermarket feet and cleats of a Packout mounting plate?
@@JakeWeihe yes I'm currently making one that sits in the side crease where the holes are, but I don't think it will be as smooth as plastic coming in and out, maybe couple it with the side rail mod for extra hold
Why do you need a nohlster holster? The clip is made to slide over belts and mounts. I also carry arc ring belt anchors. They attach to belts and have a metal ring for attaching nohlster clips.
Could you do a Milwaukee Packout Bender rack? The Klein Mod Box is advertising one on it and I usually hang my benders on my Packout handle but they drag soon as I need to move my Packout
The aluminum corner rails, I'm sorry to say, are an accident waiting to happen. A corner rail can catch on the handle of a screen door and if that tote is loaded and heavy, it can tear a screen door right off its hinges. This happened to me when I was testing out the system in my own house. Imagine if that happened in a customer's home!
Are you talking about my modular solutions? Or the permanent level holders and cord wraps that other people make and protrude much more? If rolling thru doorways is such a big issue for you I’d recommend watching my modular toolbox comparison where I measure the wheelbases of a few different brands.
@@JakeWeihe I thought your video was fine and has some very useful ideas. As I stated in my comment, I am only talking about the aluminum corner rails, which are part of the Milwaukee Packout system. For any contractor, moving machinery and equipment through doorways is always problematic, i.e., you have to hold the door open (screen door) while pulling the cart through without damaging anything or banging something. Having to at the same time make sure the cart doesn't get snagged on the door handle shouldn't have to be an added concern. This is a design flaw as far as I'm concerned and was enough of an issue for me to return the Milwaukee Packout System.
@@JakeWeihe Great job young man. Very well thought out system. Milwaukee should hire you in design and if they don't, make a solid business plan and compete.
@@JakeWeihe no, i just came across this one and was very interested, everything just nakes sense and looks to make jobs more efficient. Im all about that
I'm a Makita guy but really love this set up. It's the best. And this is like killing a unicorn with a nuke. Thank you for your mind sir 😅😂
Haha thanks!
This is genius. Nice job man!

Probably not. Their design team can just watch this and get free ideas@@JakeWeihe
This video is packed with tons of handy mods. You’ve been a designing machine, keep up the great work and congrats on your growth. 👍
Thank you!

Wow!! I’m impressed. I have so many ideas for this type of system.

Beautiful piece of work Rick. One question you ever have trouble with the drawers sticking, cause the way you do them are so tight.
Amazing job my friend
Thanks!

These are great, I would highly suggest you get a patent for these designs if you haven't already. Wish you success with these great add-ons!

I think someone has been prototyping a replacement rail. For purely identification purposes why not just paint them?
It looks like I’m going to have to. When I just had two boxes, I took one set out and painted them black with a more durable paint, almost like a bedliner. It was a super tight fit, going back in and scraped paint off in several places. it just isn’t a great look.
I can make a flat Packout Rail adapter and make it available in different colors. Is that something you’d be interested in?
One that just pops over the current one? Yes! Very interested! I’m just surprised there hasn’t been a greater demand/market for identifiers
Can you email me at jake@weihedesigns.com to iron out some more details?
Jake what Cha got for packing the wrench sets into the packet box? ETSY has one metric and SAE option around 52 bucks

I would love a connector for 2 dolleys, so your stack is spread between 2 and can get over bumpy surfaces easier

Do you have packout style side mount with those rail adapters?
Can you make a nolster holster for my tool belt? My belt is 2 inches high, 1/4 inch thick!

I came to the comment section to suggest the same thing. It would be nice to be able to roll everything in in one shot.
Hi there is there anything for long handle tools for instance spades shovels rake?
Stay tuned for this weeks video!!
Do you make a holster for a level?
Yes. I talk about it in my latest video. It’s also available on my website right now
Do you have a rail that can attach the Milwaukee crate to the side rails?
Bad ass! I want one/some
Thanks! Here’s my website

Do you have a rail that could hold milwaukee batteries?
Don't suppose you'll be releasing the stl files for these things anytime soon eh? :(
If you know how to use a tape measure, you can easily make your own.
@@MAGAMAN Tape Measure eh? Must be some new type of CAD software I'm not familiar with :p
Freakin' genius!
