    Hello from Atlantic Canada. I just started using the system. So far very impressed, and with videos like this, it makes it much easier to understand. Cheers! 😀

    I've got about as much stuff, and isn't it obscene that we need to have as much as we do in order to do our jobs? compared to like office workers and accountants and stuff that need a laptop, we need a van load of different tools - often including a laptop! 😂

    • @AddictedtoTools
      @AddictedtoTools  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      It’s crazy when you think about it. They could catch a train in with the laptop or work from home. We’ve gotta have a large enough vehicle to carry the amount of tools we have. Definitely a big difference 👍

    Foam... nice but I agree -- 20 towers of packout neatly organized OR a tidy stack like yours that has it all. Thanks -- I also like the way you have sorters on top and open them each without un-stacking -- great tip!

    I had the M12 fuel oscillating tool & it is an amazing tool but I did upgrade to the m18 fuel oscillating tool & I have to say it is %100 worth it just for the auto function. It’s pretty much the only mode I ever use whenever I get my multi tool out. But you can’t go wrong with either of the Milwaukee Fuel multi tools. They’re definitely in the running for like top 5 best multi tools across all brands in my opinion

    I know that folks have been clamoring for a PackOut drawers rolling tool cart. I did too initially as a rolling toolbox owner. If you have the original PackOut rolling tool chest, you know that the tucked in wheels make a big notch out the interior volume. So a drawers variant would have the same characteristic. My vote is for a mk2 PackOut 2 wheel cart that improves on the quality complaints. Such as the cheap feeling & the flip up nose that doesn’t nicely lock in place. Add some of those casters that lock on the under served corner rails and you have a bonafide hand truck, a mobile jobsite tool station and a mobile shop tool station. All in one form factor that compromises practically nothing for the separate use cases.

      @@AddictedtoTools a drawer of nails? I have a drawer for each nailer. With those nailers are the appropriate nails with a divider between the tool and the fasteners. Then, the nails are all neatly organized by size. That's organized. A drawer that has pump clamps, a sledge and a prybar that's way to big to fit is just a junk drawer. There is no rhyme or reason anything is put together. Why is your note book with your auger bits? How do you clean your room? Just shove everything in the closet and shut the door?

      @AddictedtoTools  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Jesse. I seriously would have thought so. Everyone’s been asking for years. It’s been that long and they’ve had the chance to do it that I feel it won’t happen unfortunately. The other crazy thing is that flex Klein and hokiki made their own versions of the packout but didn’t do it either. Maybe there’s a design problem with that style.

    • @philwort1873
      @philwort1873 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it may be the same issue you have with a tub ute over a tray. The wheels get in the way of a neat drawer system. You would have to have such a skinny drawer to keep it at the same width as the current range. I would think the best result would be either a low profile unit with a skinny drawer or same height as current rolling tool box but normal width drawer and one skinny drawer.
      For now i have copied insider carpentry's custom made dolly with slot for your own hand trolley

      @@AddictedtoTools flat piece of aluminum the depth of the tool box. Put in vice and make a slight angle on each end and pop rivet or bolt to the uprights. I think the mounts that packable make are very well built, easy and quick to install. Like lots of things it is just alot of money for something so simple to make.

    • @AddictedtoTools
      @AddictedtoTools  ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s modifying the packout though. I tally agree if you don’t mind putting holes into the packout and voiding warranty, it can be done easily. These don’t do that, are adjustable and extremely good quality. For myself I see it like that packout. A little extra money up front but worth it in the long run. I agree though that riveting something up would do for many, especially if your on a budget. Cheers for the input mate 👍
