Does the blinker just automatically work when I hook up the wires?
She's really coming together. I had to jump through hoops to change my '12 mirrors out for ones that fold so I can park the truck in my garage. Was a total PIA. I can't believe GM dinks around with side view mirror options in the wiring harnesses.
Need help my doors don’t have any power in them it’s crank windows and just no power no buttons it’s how the truck was made is there a way around this
Thanks so much for posting this! I got my mirrors installed in about 30 minutes thanks to this video. I wasn't able to find a video on the reverse lights and I wasn't able to figure it out myself. Were you able to figure that out, or could you help me with that part? I have the wiring for them, I just don't know how to hook them up. Thanks again!
I'm glad I was able to help! Unfortunately I haven't had much time to mess with the wiring. I've got some free time coming up and want to finish the reverse lights. I will definitely do a video on it when I figure it out.
so new body mirrors will fit on old body style? Didnt think that would happen!
Where did you get the whole mirror from including the rear view light harness . Truck looks and sounds great by the way , good job !!!

The turn signal works and the marker lights light up at night.

Yea I bought the truck with them on but their not hooked up front or reverse just the tilt but i looked up a how to an I'll have to get me a harness an wire to get them connected..

DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR TAKE THEM OFF AN USE A 1/4 SPACER BEHIND THE TOP TWO BOLTS GOING INTO THE ALUMINUM PIECE BEHIND THE PLASTIC CAP IT WILL BRING THEM DOWN A BIT, ALSO GO SPEND 10 BUCKS AT HARBOR FREIGHT AN BUY A HLVP GUN!!!
Still need to level them and I have multiple devilbiss hvlp guns, I was asked to show how to spray paint them.
I don't like tow mirrors on a 1500. Just my opinion. Nice truck tho!

@@MitchCarveth when I did mine it made them look 10x better, they didnt look as awkward and fit better
