My camera angle while using mimic veil was bad too this may not sound scary, but having a random mage with unknown yet extremely powerful spells chase and search you down is really scary, especially du to Elden ring being such a quiet game if you just stand still and listen I typed this all out bc the video was similar I guess.

Guts cosplayers have half the working neurons as normal players
well i mean they are playing as guts after all...Not known for being brilliant if I remember right. Just brutal.
Big sword go thwap. That’s all they need to understand to wield such a weapon.
I am reminded of this One invasion in Dark Souls 3
I was in the demon ruins and didnt feel like hunting down the invaders, so instead i decided to wait by the bonfire, i took My seat and waited.
In the span of 25-30min i was witness to two invaders and a helpful blue summon walking right by me, more than once.
I wasnt even hiding, just sitting by the central bonfire.
In the end i poped a giant seed and the invaders died or left.
Guys don’t be so hard on the invader because they were doing the no common sense build where they don’t try to think about anything
Yeah
I rlly doubt that anyone who is arguing about them would think about it, even if they know that there's some people that like to play hide and seek in pvp
This is so good! If only all online games had this possibility where you can imitate NPCs to evade dire situations, toxic players or simple invaders. Even better: Making it an official feature ingame!
Look no further than the first few times Assassin's Creed games had multiplayer.
@@Gamer88334 I have 4 of them but never was really hooked. They're the kind of games I like to watch good players play but not play myself. Like bloodborn or the souls games (strangely, not elden ring lol)
That would make it predictable
wdym “official feature in-game”? isn’t that what the guy in video’s doing?
Would be cool if you could sneak past enemies using their own armor in pve, def would make stealth not be as bland at least
This is why I try to lock on to anything I see lmao
Reminds me of the time I invaded in the Dark souls 3 swamp right before crystal sage, me and another red bro spent like 10 minutes looking for the host when we noticed that we can lock on to the exile NPC...
We both got absolutely destroyed. It was amazing.
Didn't notice the NPC not reacting to his split charge attack
I love this kind of videos. Like how being one of the enemies or the environment it's self. It's Awesome & Funny.
The amount of patience it takes to walk back and forth trying not to look suspicious..... eh, im bored enough, let's go.
Some hitman move right there:
-kill the guy
-hide his body
-use his clothes and pretend
You do realize your health appears different from the enemies when its PVP as well as the fact that guards dont have an health bar to invasions ...you can run right by them so he had to have seen your health bar lol
Got recommended this after Scott's video. Crazy
This is brilliant but it’s also part of the reason I always spam the lock on button when I’m looking for my target cause they’ll be the only thing I can lock onto! That or any helpers they may have with them ;)
This reminds me of that time someone invaded me in faraam azula so I used the grace mimic to hide as a pot, clear as day, right next to the grace under the bridge. I couldn’t be more obvious. It was looking at a spot of blue in a sea of red, clear as day I was right there. The invader pass me twice before they notice and they did the “clap” gesture to show that my goofing around was appreciated.
I did this today because of this video, and it worked! Freaking hilarious! Me and my wife laughed pretty hard as he ran past me twice! 🤣🤣🤣
ok rlly random but i need someone to know about this horror experience i had the other day
i use random co-op bc i like it with ppl
i get invaded by "Focus Check"
co-op buddy doesnt get it, attacks the invader
buddy almost dies, but we run away
we hide, hearing him running around while we stand on a tower in pure fear
he climbs up the ladder
we run away again, now inside (this is near the church and grafted scion in stormveil castle.)
we cant find him, its silent af
we think he's mimiced, until we split up and i see "furled finger (whatever his namae was) has died.
i run as far as possible, terrified
its silent, he's still in my game
i mimic veil, and hear him run around trying to find me
i see him every now and then, its horrifying
i hear a scream coming from an aztec death whistle type item (idk what its called)
im shitting myself
he keeps searching, breaking everything
ana enemy jumpscares me and gets me to like 2/5 health
this goes on for about 10 whole minutes before he leaves and i audible exhale as if i just successfully hid from a murderer
i had no flasks at the end either, and low health, so i was one shot (new file). My camera angle while using mimic veil was bad too
this may not sound scary, but having a random mage with unknown yet extremely powerful spells chase and search you down is really scary, especially du to Elden ring being such a quiet game if you just stand still and listen
I typed this all out bc the video was similar I guess.
Invader was a payed actor xD
All an invader has to do is one simple thing: mash the lock-on key/button.
LITERALLY nothing can hide from that, unless the host/cooperates are using the mimic crown, in which case jokes on them.
And assassins gambit and concealing veil. They both block lock on at a distance.
The location of the host is also shown on the compass but he was probably a new player or even someone experienced but never realized what the marker means.
That's kinda lame
"all you had to do was follow the damn compass CJ!"
cringe
Hide and seek with invaders is one of my favorite pranks, normally I sit in a bush until they find me but this looks like it could be a lot of fun
I’m surprised his connection lasted that long
Almost funnier than the guy in DS that managed to fool invaders with his butt sticking out of a rock.
the words host of fingers floating above you:
No! That is only when the invader hit the host or vice versa so an engagement is happening, otherwise there is no floating name above you.
What's even more fun is simply squatting in the bushes. It's incredible how some people just never look closer
Lock on:
Thought you were talking about where you prefer to poop at first
Him:finds the real body
Also him: opens his eyes widely
'Godrick Soldier': "Surprise BITC-"
Invader has returned to their world.
Backstab
Hiding in plain sight
Watching the invader walk past him was so hilarious to watch
"Aren't you a little to short to be a Godrick Stormtrooper?" - Not that invader
Basically what that kid did at the game awards lmao
Oh wait you're right
That's not just a TH-cam clip, but more of a short films with a plot and cool ending. Thanks, man!
In Elden Ring we become the npc’s. Other than the bosses. The human enemies we fight are us. If we fail to achieve our goal of becoming Elden Lord we just become a wandering enemy. I cracked the code
Imagine if he found the original soldier dead in the bushes and then got backstabbed by you as he realizes the ruse.
Hitman Ring
Tarnished 47
“Aren’t you a little short for a Godrick Soldier?”
tip: When invaders enter your world, they see the corpses where the enemies originally spawned meaning that no matter where you kill them they will always see the corpse
That's why he killed the NPC in the bushes
@@nethersnake6445 clearly your reading comprehension is sub par 😂
@@irbengimz5489 Oh I reread it and got it now. But then how was that guy fooled?
@@nethersnake6445 some clueless people out there, also it could be staged :/
@@nethersnake6445 Well he never locked on, didn't notice the difference in size, didn't notice the hosts location on his compass, etc.. I just don't think he was very observant and was only looking for the obvious.
After beating the game 3 times i guess all ive got left to do is be an npc
and beat the game on ng+7 if you’ve only beaten the game 3 times
@@zenixrl_ nahh honestly people that play the game on ng+7 need to get a life, for me i just played it with 3 diffrent characters with diffrent playstyles, if i do come back ill probably do an archer/dex build
i love the fact the other player didn't even bother to attack you and it was smart that you didn't attacked the player to not give away your position.
This is the correct way to “afk farm”. Lol
Lol this is gold. Be hilarious if you pulled out Rivers of Blood as he ran by and ganked him lol!
I was a deer once took the bait to the fullest
This invader doesn't seem to know that the host's location will be displayed on the compass for a brief moment unless he just isn't paying attention
It also shows the hosts name right above his head and says HOST OF FINGERS
@@mattyryon Exactly
@@mattyryon when locked on yea
oh he does know, that's why he went in the direction of this guy twice
a "brief moment" meaning when you're farther away than like 15 meters
How did they not notice the height difference between a player and a godrick soldier?
this particular enemy aren't that taller compared to the player.
@@Skyflakes05 Bro the Godrick Soldier is like 6'5 ish.
In this context you wouldn't notice that either lol this guy's an idiot cause he doesn't know he has a compass apparently
Well when u invade someone u don't expect him to disguise so u won't go to each enemy and see if there is something off with them
Height differences are only obvious when standing next to another person, thats why you dont take pictures with tall dudes
😐"Must have been the wind..."
Pro tip, you can sheathe your weapon by holding Y and pressing LB
Edit: Make sure your left hand is empty when you do this, or you'll just end up 2 handing the object in that hand
Right, but then he'd be holding the torch 2 handed and that might've given it away
@@rawman44 You're winner!

Yes, yes I am
HURK!!
May the force be with you friend
I feel as though there should be more of a reward for defeating invaders in this game. As grindy as it was, it sure felt good to collect Proof of Concords Kept in DS3.
But you can't defeat me you hosts are just playthings for my amusement who's lives shall end on my whim.
I’ve only seen 3 competent invaders in over 1000 hours across two characters. It’s kind of a joy to see the invasion message at this point. Might as well say “Free Runes” 🤣
I was waiting for a sneaky backstab. Didn't get it. 🥺
That would’ve been so good!
