Honestly i always found it kinda disappointing that the destined death doesn't perma kill skeletons. I mean there are weapons that already have that effect so why not the black blade?

Seeing 50 Skeletons beat Malenia was the underdog story I didn't know I needed.
For those curious it took 83,362 damage to kill Malenia between her two phases. Each arrow was doing roughly 186 damage. So it took precisely 448 hits to kill.

@@Jeff-jr4xw hmmmm, in game just dealing any source of holy dmg doesn't necessarily kill them instantly, like weapons with split holy dmg, however holy buffs like shared order, and order's blade do.
so i'd say in radagon's case, his attacks were probably programmed to behave like blows from a weapon with split holy dmg,
but that's just a theory, an elden theory

he was critical to that fight. If a few more skeletons had survived to Elden Beast then it would have staggered before it could get an attack off, and then it would be over.

Seeing some of these fights in their full faith and glory as a spectator is such a treat. Some of these effects (Dragonlord, Astel) are so freaking gorgeous. The red lightning / smoke cloud effects are just so freaking cool!!!!

I think this is problem with boss. She has like triple amount of s compared to player combined with technically infinite stamina.
@@ilikeanimeverymuchall bosses have infinite stamina, they aren’t supposed to be like the player they are supposed to be stronger than the player.
Imagine if the boss could only do 4 attacks and then wait without moving.
And she only do the dodge if you fire a projectile.
@@ni9274 I don't mean like 4 attacks but have limits in programing. Also notice how limited Parry against her is: No waterfowl, no scarlet aeonia, no clones, no heavy lunge attacks and what weapon she uses .... KATANA. I would have understand if she would swing UGS or maybe spam magical attack but give player some way to "easy her" rather than making only one way around - timing.
@@ilikeanimeverymuch Parry is literally the easiest way to beat her, the first people who beat her without getting hit used parry.
@@ni9274 yeah but notice you can parry only some of her attacks. And in her case AI allows her to spam strongest attacks.
Imagine what if Radhan could make meteor 2 or 3 times in row or only keep spaming arrow rain.

Damn there were some seriously great highlights in this one. Placidusax God-Skele, Malenia back and forth, the absolutely hilarious Gideon fight. Classic
My favorite fight was Blade of Miquella. The dodging and healing made the fight so much more epic than "giant explosion." Elden Beast's victory at the end was hilarious, though.
I'm suprised Gideon was able to get words out with how many arrows were lodged in his face...

I like how the Elden Beast makes such quick work of them all for one reason and one reason only: A sustained multi-hit AoE attack.
And not being staggered at all 😭
There's only 24 skeletons in that fight for some reason, and not spaced out like the others either.

Also skeletons don't resurrect from light damage
The malenia fight first phase is so cool, and really showcases that they designed her not as some big scary monster like most bosses, but an actual warrior.
Also they got so lucky in the maliketh fight, half his shots got blocked by the pillar in second phase
Seeing the first form of Malenia struggle against the skeletons was pretty epic.
Malenia thought she was Neo or Trinity from Matrix, dodging all those arrows like they were bullets 😂
then died lol
@@kaiserdetectivegolden2735 and so did Neo in Matrix 1 and 3 (before activating the cheats and becoming superman at the end of the first movie)

Watch Radagon fighting monsters is so satisfying. Like all of his skills are so cool and at the same time able to counter many attacks from various kind of monsters.

There were some cool moments in here. I thought they might beat placidusax but his teleporting and flames/beams saved him. The way Malenia was dodging the arrows at the start was awesome

probably my favorite fight was malenia (pincushion of miquella), the example of what happens when an unkillable swordsman meets an indestructible skeleton

5:43 fun fact: Just like in the four kings in dark souls 1, this boss fight has a model beneath the floor that has the main hp bar of the multiple bosses in the room. This is why that one skelly was aiming at the ground. He is aiming at that model.

Watching this made me realize how deadly arrow volleys actually are.
I feel that these battles, showed the real potential of the Bosses (those that survived the first attack) the fire giant was amazing, the way he threw himself on the skeletons is beautiful

Normally these challenges have to be geared around stopping Malenia entirely or any boss from a certain point in the game, save for Maliketh which can go either way, can whoop the challenge. First time I've seen a challenge where the usual suspects didn't all win and it felt kinda random. Earned the sub with this one.
These skeletons absolutely manhandling the Godskin duo was very satisfying.
I like how at the Godskin Duo, some of the skeletons fire at the ground, probably because of the "main health bar" Godskin being there.

well not really.. Morgott have holy damage ( because of his faith) but it's like a light damage. Since Radagon got forced into Marika and ofcourse she as revenge smashed the Elden ring , his divine holy become impure. Radagon casted his golden order sword ( that divine holy damage who kill those who live in death) to be sealed in that cave in Consecrated Snowfield so maybe he knew what going to happen.
Elden beast doesn't end the skeletons so it doesn't make sense, end of the question. Rest is total headcannon of yours
@@glatykoffi6672 This is all based on an incorrect premise. Holy damage is not what kills skeletons.
The golden Order Greatsword, Inseparable Greatsword and Golden Epitaph exclusively have the ability to. do that. Additionally, Sacred Blade gives the same ability as a buff.
