Great vid! Locomotion is like the last unlocked puzzle of VR. So even with a giant play space you’ll need to reset your center or use the thumb sticks. From time to time. The Omni directional treadmill prototype at Disney takes some getting used to (so we’re told) but I think a solution like that will truly be how we crack this.

Its going to be many more years before we have omni directional shoes or treadmill that is able to account for erratic movement and survive junping around and still feel natural. I solved it, though. Rope. You know. For the kids. But seriously, I determined all we needed was a rope barrier for an IRL boundary, and then you simply turn off the virtual boundary. Done. Now you can run and jump using that entire basketball court. Or even larger. We do beaches and football fields.

@BoKnowsGaming Oh you wouldn't want to have a very tight line. It's just there for a gentle reminder you can't go any further in that direction. Its waist height and has flex. It won't clothesline you. Works great.
Star wars in Vr looks truly awesome! It looks like an intersting expereince in such a large play space. think imgonna have to buy a bigger house before i buy a meta quest 3 lol😅

😂 I know I see a lot of vr TH-camrs who have a room in their house dedicated to it. My house is really small though, and I still manage. Haha.
