Pretty, lovely, pretty! 😍
Pretty!
I would have never thought to either Lorraine, it is a brilliant idea Ceri...I will be working on that next...thank you for sharing your ideas with us...❤
Have fun!
I love this idea. I stamp my butterflies but never emboss. Last week I got a mini pancake cooker and have been using it to emboss die-cut words, I think it would work great for the butterflies. The cooker will go up to 4". Marion Emberson did it on one of her videos. I was tired of burning my fingers on fiddly bits or having to fix the embossing after using tweezers. I love your videos Ceri.
Wonderful
Love these. Now to search through my stamps to find some butterflies! Thanks for sharing!
LOVE !

Awesome Ceri! Gayle is so funny...I giggle every time she says Antlers! 😂
Gorgeous butterflies. I think my favorite are the ones you used distress ink around the edges, so unique. i love your videos.
They’re my favourite too.
Genius!!! While I don't have embossing pads and powder, I do have the color shift acrylic paint and this project has my mind running. Thank you Ceri.
Have fun
Cool…Christine Stokes shared to do this on magazine pages,,,I have been doing that with gold powder,…but I really like the black on the pages. Thanks..good teaching by the way

Those are so pretty! I love your videos where you show how to make your own ephemera. I use a lot of things that are from me - and these videos give me great ideas. Thank you!
Great idea!
I REALLY love this idea. Thank you, much.
Love this idea, need to dust off my embossing powders, great tips! ❤️
Glad it was helpful
What a great idea! ❤
These are gorgeous Ceri! I especially like the book page ones but the colors are beautiful, they remind me of stained glass. ♥
What a great idea! Your butterflies are so beautiful. 😍 Thanks for sharing! 😊♥️
Thank you for another fantastic video!
… you could use clear gesso if you were worried about the opacity of the white ….
The black embossing powder is beautiful. ❤
Love the butterflies. What a good use of old book pages. Thank you for sharing! 💜
Very fun
A really useful technique, thanks for sharing Ceri!
Ceri, such a fun project and not that difficult, can't wait to make some butterflies, thank you for sharing.
Oh fabulous idea thanks for sharing .
Awesome ! Just bought the first time embossing pad and powder. Still in package. Will definitely try this out this week!
Now, I finally have a plan for my embossing powder! I just got the idea to try this on some Jessoed fabric scraps!
Thanks, Ceri!❤
Fabulous.
I never dreamt of using black embossing powder, but now I want to try that black sparkle. And since you don’t like the sparrow, you might as well send him to me! He’s my favorite. I’ll give him a loving home. 🕊️
Love your butterflies and great tip to coat book page first with gesso and to make the shiny embossing more dull to apply some matte medium. Thanks for sharing!
❤❤❤ this idea and process!
Great idea - I have all these things and forget. Need to put them to use and this is a beautiful way to do that. Thanks for the inspiration!
You are so welcome!
What a great idea!!!! I’m making these today! Thank you for your thorough tutorial!
Have fun
So inspiring! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful idea.☺🦋
You are so welcome
Thank you ever so much for sharing. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching this and I cannot wait to follow your instructions and make some butterflies of my own. ☺️
Great video Ceri! While I’m not a “mass make” fan, I could totally see making up a bunch of these as a play session! Thank you for sharing your method. ❤
You are so welcome
The large butterfly, especially looks great embossed in the black with the inked edge. Thanks for the inspiration Ceri. 😊
Thank you another great video!
Hi Ceri, nice to see you. Thank you for your video.
Another great idea Ceri!!
Thank you! 😊
Love these! Thank you!!
What a wonderful tutorial. I love the way you teach and share your ideas. Step by step completely explained. I know what I’m doing tomorrow 🤣😁😁🥰❤️❤️
I had exactly the same experience with the un-silicone mat. I bought the right one, decided I needed another and thought I bought the right one, but nope.
What a spiffin’ idea! I have bray off papers that will make some lovely bright butterflies. Thank you for sharing with us 😊
Have fun!
Great techniques-especially toning down embossing powders’ shine with matte medium. Plus, I’m embarrassed to say, after decades of art stamping (now segued to not-very-“junk” journals), I have always applied gesso with a brush! The credit card application is so much better.
Fab idea. I have made flowers and butterflies doing this in the past but it’s wonderful to have the reminder 💜
Wonderful
