Very interested in your Disa includes and thoughts! I have the precon and certainly want to upgrade it. Love the different lists and explanations. First time here, will keep coming back!
I really appreciate your Fourteenth Doctor deck tech for actually building a thematic and synergistic deck that's not just cEDH combo or jank Doctors thrown in. I've probably watched that video more than a dozen times. Escape Detection seems like a really good inclusion as well. I'm curious if you keep keep up-to-date lists (pateron?), or have other recommendations to add. I recently saw Barkform Harvester and thought it might be a good alternative to getting things back in the library like Trenzalore Clocktower while also being a doctor (changeling) itself. But I'm always cautious to make deck changes that I didn't formulate myself in fear of weakening it.
@StealthJet Thanks for watching! I update my personal lists (in the description) periodically every other set or so when I can remember to make the changes from my paper deck. As for 14th Doctor in particular, I'm also really hesitant to make any changes. It's really difficult for something to satisfy all the conditions that that deck needs to make it more appealing than a lot of the existing slots. But I'll tell you one thing I was thinking about: There's another neat combo you can make with Bigger on the Inside and Staff of Domination (a 3 mana artifact, being a historic spell also has a lot of synergy). My hangup though is actually that I think combat is where the deck needs the biggest changes though, not more combo lines. It gets hit pretty hard by even moderately powered aggro decks because of how unprofitable it is to block. So when I'm looking for upgrades, I'm looking much closer at interaction to keep those creatures off my back, or at things that make it harder to attack me in general.
Understandable, especially when ive sat across from multiple combats or stompy leviathans. My main play style is to stay low threatening until I'm not, but aggro really likes to take of the weak when there's no immediate threat. I'm considering running fog/holy day/spore frog effects, and/or combat taxes like ghostly prison/propaganda. Stopping combat feels thematic for the doctor, but it would definitely slow the deck and make it less focused.
@44Nova44 Definitely coming soon 😇 In my mind, I'd think Omo is the worst of the four- at least out of the box. I could never imagine thinking that churning out three 8/9s a turn was at the bottom of those rankings.
I recently built a Marvo deck using the quadratic cloning formula. It's pretty nuts. Throw in a roaming throne and maybe clone a few of those.... you get the idea. I've never heard of The Celestial Toy Maker so I'm interested to figure out how to brew that one.
I too am a gilded foil enjoyer, and it's the only reason I built a Breya deck when I got that in a trade. Incidentally, I was using your advice for a basis. Loved your take. Though I stand by my garbage Atraxa energy deck as fun and bad. Sometimes that's the vibe.
Great Video! One question for the braids deck If you would swap Sheoldred, which card would you use? I am heavily invested moneywise in Bantcolors - that‘s why i don‘t want to spend too much for black cards

Really excited to hear your take on Disa, I'd LOVE to just make a few changes to that deck and roll with it
Honestly love your deck building. Really helped me! One of the best mtg architects on TH-cam
55°, Coffee, and an upload. What a nice morning
Amazing content as always! Now hit us with that Disa decklist 🥵

@@StealthJet Another reason why the One Ring would slap in that deck. Not only is it a proactive fog, but sonic screwdriver untapping it is bananas
@@aegisgamingofficial2178 i may have to finally get The One Ring. One of the printings looks to have dropped in price.
@StealthJet I mean if you're comfortable with it you should just proxy it. It's not worth spending that kinda money on imo. Save yourself some money.
Waiting for your Disa List!
Most people seem to agree that the Disa Precon is the worst of the 4.
@44Nova44 Definitely coming soon 😇

Let's go Disa. For Zimone, bloodghast works well with retreat
New to the channel, loving it. I need to know where you're from, that "because" pronunciation is throwing me lol
I am ready.
It appears you missed the Wilson list in the notes. Also same feedback about eating the mic, but otherwise great video!
@@danjack08 My bad- adding that list now.
Great Video!
One question for the braids deck

I am heavily invested moneywise in Bantcolors - that‘s why i don‘t want to spend too much for black cards
@@supremecourt4131 I actually had Gixian Puppeteers in that slot previously. I think that's a very acceptable substitute.
More of these
No Ur-Dragon in this list?
@@valerijbukreev7743 Ur Dragon was my very first magic deck, but that was a *long* time ago.
Great video, but your mix was way too close to your mouth
boy needs to get that mic outta his mouth. Love this channel tho!
