Just found your deck and this video, it's a really interesting concept and I think it's a good idea. However I think there is a lot we can learn from Yuriko and instead run a higher percentage of 1 cmc evasive creatures. 13 would probably be the right amount to reliably have 1 in hand. I love this idea though, so I'm going to run with it and see what I can do :)

I want to include Terror of the Peaks and Dragonlord Dromoka in the deck. Which cards should I remove to make room for these two?

9:39 I like the combo, but two questions I have with this: 1) Clockspinning's phrasing implies it targets counters, NOT permanents, so would this still trigger Orvars ability, as that only triggers when you target one or more other permanents; 2) Clockspinning can only target counters, NOT permanents, and Orvar only lets you make copies of things targeted by the instant or sorcery, so when you say we can copy Peregrine Drake or lands, even if I am wrong in point #1 about the counters being targeted over the permanents, how would Clockspinning even target Peregrine or the lands in the first place if they don't possess any counters?

Idk I think my Tiamat / Esika deck would get the job done fast. Also the Ancient chromatic dragons are in my opinion, a must. The Copper one is able to do 1 to 20 treasure tokens after combat damage, the silver one makes you draw an incredible amount of cards, the brass plays in the graveyard, the goldie makes faeries and the bronze gives power to creatures.. 😅😅 They also have crazy good stats, 6/5, 8/8, 7/7 etc

How about big tutor spells like Diabolic Revelation? If you don't have a finisher you can search for perfect hand using mana generated from megatron to win on your next turn. I'm also think that Ugin's Nexus should be here to swing with army of created tokens without waiting for our next turn.

I'm transitioning from yugioh to magic and your videos are amazing for people like me who are learning about deck building. You do an amazing job at not only breaking down your decks but also explaining why you tech the cards in and how they interact. Keep up the good work

Hi! Absolutely love the build, a variation of your first list is my favorite deck of all time. I do have 2 additions that have put in a LOT of work in my games: Nanogene Conversion is a lot more versatile than Sakashima's will as you can turn all your creatures into urza's to set up your win next turn or just finish the game if you have enough creatures to turn into constructs. And Officious interrogation always gives my constructs a BIG boost at instant speed! Hope these help anybody trying to give their own spin to this AWESOME build!

Cool deck idea, any excuse to use displacer kitten is going to solid. Thoughts on the new Kozilek in the build? He's a payoff that gives you fuel, and eats away at your opponents ability to interact with you, or to hamper a threatening player.

I'm putting together a Z&D deck now, and this is definitely an interesting direction to take it, and one would consider running. That said, I feel like the deck you presented here would be better with Omo, Queen of Vesuva at the helm, rather than Z&D. I feel like Z&D has the option to win in multiple avenues, but forcing it exclusively into a Maze's end shell ends up making the deck a lot more proactive to play, rather than midrange/combo, with using all of the untap things to gain bursts of value. I do agree with a lot of what you said about some of the landfall payoffs, like Ob Nixilis (who I've now cut from my build). For me, I think I'll stick with a more midrange version, but I'd love to pilot this version at some point.

I really enjoyed this, the idea of a smaller amount of creatures to keep Bolster concentrated would not have occurred to me. I'm not even a Transformers fan, but Optimus has very interesting design that's been living in my head rent-free lately.

I was looking at the new Flubs, the Fool and thought maybe I could build him gates? Landfall isn't really my cup of tea and a friend is already building him storm, so I wanted to try something unusual if that makes sense. I really like Azusa and Eruth but they don't fit in any of my decks.

Here's a suggestion: do 1 minute shorts on your touch up videos. Go over your differences in what you think the deck/commander should do. Go over a couple updated cards and then say "a link to my deck lists are in the description of my channel". Make sure a link is in your channel's description. When using shorts DO NOT send out to your subscribers. You will kill traction on your shorts because of how the algorithm works.

VERY IMPORTANT add some interaction my man! Counterspells are the best way to protect chulane. 3 is a hard minimum for me. I recommend counterspell, dovins veto, and an offer you can't refuse because they are very good and budget friendly. Also removal is important. Swords to plowshares at least. Beast within/generous gift/stroke of midnight is very solid for casual play, or you could go for nature's claim or pongify for something faster, but swords to plowshares is a must. Literally the best creature removal in the game. Also there is literally no reason to not run sol ring idk what thats about. Also why put Heroic Intervention under the cards to avoid section, when you put Your Temple is Under Attack on the decklist when its strictly worse than Heroic Intervention for that effect? Unless its just about the price. Destiny spinner and tireless provisioner not being recommended is highly suspect. Super good creatures especially at high level. Tireless provisoner helps go infinite with tons of cards such as the shrieking drake mana breach combo by providing a way to actually produce mana each iteration not just net 0. Even ignoring combos, tireless and lotus cobra allow you storm with chulane more robustly by doubling the value of land drops allowing you to get away with having fewer land draws. Destiny spinner is basically grand abolisher which is another great card, i shouldnt need to even say why but i will. Chulane WILL get countered sometimes. Prevent that. It also has the advantage of providing a way to close the game after an infinite mana combo. Also you are running 11 enchantments which is enough to make the uncounterable effect for enchantments relavent. When you get infinite mana with mana breach shrieking drake and tireless/cobra, play all 11 enchantments and then swing with your 12/12 trample lands. This makes triskadekaphile unnecessary and its not very good anyways because it does nothing on its own. Even when not making a combo deck, destiny spinner and tireless provsioner (and lotus cobra) are still crazy good value in Chulane. The deck seems like a good start, but the average cmc seems a little high. After trimming it down, sunscape familiar is not worth running for example. Also 40 lands is way too many. My current Chulane list runs 33. For the deck you are trying to make something around 36 seems more appropriate. I dont mean to hate too much, i just see very powerful cards being forgotten hear such as lotus cobra and whitemane lion that are very budget friendly. Also quick tip, stay away from temple of the false god, its really not good in like any deck. Also intruder alarm is agreed to be the riskiest combo piece with skrieking drake.Mana breach, aluren, overburden, earthcraft, and cloudstone curio are all better/safer, though they are less budget friendly. Aluren is my personal favorite, but cloudstone curio is by far the best. And with its recent reprinting the price has dropped a good amount. Optionally also consider tutors for shrieking drake, if you want to rely on it, and other cards. Neoform, wargate, and eladamris call are all budget friendly. I play Chulane alot, and id love to talk more if you have any questions or issues with what i said. I am open to critique. Edit: I wasn't originally going to do this, but writing this up made me want to create a budget Chulane list, so I made one that costs the same as the decklist you made. ive been running a normal landfall chulane deck but if the table permits it i have applejack + claire dloon to summon exodia and bounce the pieces to my hand to win the game. (wins about 30% of the time)

Do you recomend to cut some cards to add a bit of protecction? Like boots or counters. If so , wich cards would you cut?

There is honestly so much bad advice in this I don't even know where to start. Most of the expensive esper knight cards are terrible and you need some small knights to proc eminence early for card draw and finding lands to colour fill where necessary. Not including Kinsbaile Cavalier is just absolute lunacy.

The way this decks built makes no sense to me. Is your plan to win only through mazes end? I've been staring at it and it looks so weak to combo or aggro and loses immediately if mazes end gets removed somehow?
