How to Become a Featured Artist on Redbubble FAST

- Hi guys! In this video I'll be sharing my top 3 tips for becoming a featured artist on Redbubble as fast as possible. I've been a featured artist on Redbubble myself for a little while now, so I reflected on my own experiences plus some extra research I did on the actual Redbubble site. This video is great if you're just getting started on Redbubble or have been on there a while without getting the results you've been looking for!
P.S. In the video I mentioned I wasn't sure how you can get the featured artist badge to actually show up on your profile (since some shops didn't have it even though they were featured), but I did some digging and it's just been a recent addition with the new shop update, so the artists in my video that don't have it on their stores should be getting it as well. It shows up if you've been featured on the Homepage or the "Found Feed"!

I hate that redbubble only makes u a featured artist if all of your work is samey. Its just dumb, im not a samey artist - my strength is versatility. Thanks for your content.

Hi Alexandra, what specific fb groups do i need to join?
Is it possible to get featured without a consistent theme? I’m no graphic designer/artist, but instead am hoping to make money by using placeit to make designs targeting many markets. I do change and creat my own variations of designs, I always will check if the design I’m thinking about uploading are on red bubble before uploading them. Any advice?

I think the artist spotlight on the app, shown at the beginning of this video, is different than featured artists. I've appeared on my own "artist spotlight" section, which I think is likely because my browsing history often includes my own work. The other accounts in the "artist spotlight" aren't the quality I see on the true featured artist section. Furthermore, no badge for me from being on the artist spotlight.

Hi, can you tell me how to chose an option that my design will only be shown on t-shirts for women? On the pictures of women? I made nice flowery dragon but it looks awfully crazy when it appeared ony wall pictures on photos of guys. How can I change this? I have a Redbubble account with consistant text based design sales. Now, I have a lot of original patterns and landscapes ready to go, too, and would like to know, if I‘d rather open another new account for that kind of styles (if that is even possible/allowed)? What app u use to resize ur photos
I've just started on redbubble today morning, and I already had 1 one my arts removed by them, great start huh, I have bad luck everywhere I go. About my art social medias, no one gives a shit about my drawings, it's like I'm invisible, not even my 'amost none followers' look at my art when I upload them, meanwhile I've seen people who are worse than me with a lot of followers and interactions. What's the point in having skills for making art if I can't make anything with it? It only makes me wanna give up of everything, not even my best friend recognized one of my drawings when I showed it to him, that hurt the most.
@@Telekho I gave up of instagram months ago, that's a useless social media for me, I'm just posting on my deviantart, at least there people look at my drawings, and about redbubble, not a single sale yet, I know I'll never sell anything there, but since I'm not paying to use the site I don't worry about it.

Do you have any tips on getting more then just one design sold? Because I have 51 designs up. But maybe only 3 different designs have actually sold. And only 1 of my designs have actually been a consistent seller which was one of my 1st designs. But how can I get people to buy my other pieces? I have been uploading a lot... but only my 1st design is still the one that’s selling the most... Do you have any tips? Should I just keep uploading more and see what happens when I reach 100 designs? Thank you for another great Redbubble video👍
You should try promoting your work somewhere if you don't do it yet. A good place for it is pinterest! At least it helps me to get people to see some of my works :)

That's the wrong way to think about it. What you should be asking yourself instead is what makes the consistent-selling design special and how to make more like that. You don't get people to buy your designs, you create designs that people want to buy.
I think the answer here is quality over quantity, I am not saying that your designs arent quality but that one design that has sold must have something special, it must have been something that cought people's eyes

I’m not Alexandra but I had about 10 pieces up before I got my first sale. I now have 51 pieces up and trying to put up more over time too.

In that case it might be good to try uploading trendy designs (even if they're not related to each other), so that you're reaching a specific audience each time :)

I've got Pinterest and Instagram accounts which are doing quite well but I have also been trying to use Twitter but it's not gaining much traction. I don't think it is really a suitable medium for promoting POD although I have found a handful of other people trying to do so. Do you think it is worth carrying on with or should I drop it?
I think if you have all the time in the world the more social media sites you're on the better, but if you want to focus in on a few, then Pinterest, instagram and Facebook are my suggestions
@@AlexandraStrambu You could easily spend all your time on social media, promotion, SEO etc and have no time for anything else. I think it's necessary to set aside a certain amount of time to just focus on what is most important.
