Hey there @Mey Aroyo from neighbor country of n. You mentioned that if we had an interest in a video regarding PlaecIt you would make one. I would like you to do that. There is a ton of stuff in PlaceIt and I would love to see your advice on this.
Very great video you put a lot into it thank you. My life depends on online sales now as priority so it is interesting to see how marketing works on all the platforms but especially pinterest which is new to me. You make great points. Use the system and get the ego out, so you can get results. It's a very desperate time of my life as I've officially put my business on hold to really focus in on this new venture. You make the journey enjoyable. Thank you!
Hello mam. Really enjoyed your tutorial. Very informative and helpful video.im still not using Pinterest properly. After watch this video, focus on Pinterest marketing for my redbubble shop. Highly recommended make Instagram marketing and placeit tutorial mam.
Great timing...I was trying to figure out marketing and the research shows that Pinterest drives a lot of traffic to RedBubble. So now I'm trying to master Pinterest and this video is a great way to get going. Now... I would rather create than market, but then what's the point if it never sells? Thank you so much for this.
Just find that balance between creating and marketing :) And if you do market - use Pinterest lol There are some more marketing videos coming up later this month and in April :)
Great video! I just started using pinterest to market my redbubble products, I have learnt some useful tips from you ! Can you pls also share the process on setting up a blog to promote your products ? Thanks a lot!
I actually have done that in several videos since this one was made :) th-cam.com/video/-_HT1tOS8_w/w-d-xo.html Like this one :) It's not strictly blogging, just a website to promote your POD. Tomorrow's there's a video on the concept of making a home decor blog to make money- affiliate marketing, POD... But without a tutorial. I will add a blogging tutorial, how to set up a blog, in July !
Cute soul you are..you are one of my fav.i loved all your tutorials.its really good for beginners..Is canva free to use all mockups and fonts for commercial use?
Well, you mean free to use or free membership? You still need to check each font and graphics for their exact commercial use - if you’re selling them. But using these elements for making pins is fine.
thanks so much for sharing your knowledge on this Mey - I'm at 21:53. brain is full to the brim and I have created a lovely (well I think so) Canva Pin ... ok back to the vid ... :)
Thank you so much for this wonderfully presented video. You take the time to clearly explain all of the content, so amazing, indeed. I am a newbie in the digital world. There is so much to learn. I am looking forward to watching all of your videos now and in the future. God bless you.
Hi, thanks for this valuable content. Am a new subscriber, also an absolute noob to Pinterest. Is it better to open a business account or just regular one on Pinterest?
Hi Mey, I like your videos a lot. If I sell prints on society 6 and tshirts etc on Redbubble, some of which have a common design, how do you promote both on Pinterest?
I have a question related to an example of creating multiple pins as you showed with a T-shirt (quarantine cat) with the same link in all pins. you mentioned that we can make different kinds of boards then post these pins on the board which is the most suitable. should we post these pins with some gaps? I heard that pins with the same links should be published with at least two days intervals even if they are to be published on different boards. I think I've seen it on someone who has used Tailwind.
hi Mey..You inspire me..A quick one. please drop the link to the blog where you promote your Redbubble and Pinterest designs.... I am working on a project called EveryChildCare and i am searching for more inspirations..Thank you for your good works
I would have loved to do that, but as I stated in a video from few months ago, with the Godaddy main hack my entire 6 years website was completely erased. There was a lot of talking on that in some past videos. I also don't promote my RedBubble store anymore- as I deleted it, from so many reasons, detailed here- th-cam.com/video/gI6Ft6DSf6o/w-d-xo.html
This was/is a great video. You got yourself a new subscriber. Query: I assume you have to make a separate Pinterest account for every POD platform you use? I.e. one for Society6, one for Spring, one for Teepublic, etc... Or is there a way to use multiple links? (Doesn't seem like something Redbubble would go for.)
Hey, not sure why you'd assume that, as Pinterest was built for people to save in one place - photos and ideas from all over the web. I would more recommend having separate Pinterest accounts based on Niches... So for example: if you're selling awesome patterns on Society6, and cute text phrases that are funny on Teepublic>> You can have separate pinterest accounts for S6 and Teepublic, OR- Have an account for home decor- sharing both home decor items from both platforms, and have an account for clothing/accessories - sharing from both platforms. And RedBubble cannot "go" for anything... Anyone can upload whatever pins they want to Pinterest. Whenever you upload a pin you either take it from that website, link goes automatically, or manually place the link yourself. RB, and any other platform, has no control on that. As for the 1 link to Website you can place on the Pinterest bio- you can link that to a linktree or links page link you've made- to include all options.
@@MeyTribe Thank you. I see the error in my thinking. I have never heard of a link tree. I will study up on it. Seems like it might be a turn off for a buyer to be taken to second page of links. I’ll look into it. I appreciate your time and in-depth answer. I put my first pins up immediately after watching your video. Easy, thanks to you!
@@MeyTribe Hi Mey thank you!, truly priceless, you demonstrate and explain everything so clearly. Do you think that you would be able to do a linktree/Pinterest video on products for multiple marketplaces, Teespring, Redbubble and how to get your website 'verified' on Pinterest? Thanks once again
Hello jst discovered you... your vedio has been extremely helpful ! ❤️ Thank ú If I may ask : can I open account as GRAPHIC DESIGNER on Pinterest have different sets of board seperate for shirts/ greetings/ homedecor & my non compitative pins from other artists ?
Hello Mey ...thank you for all the tips and pointers, as always straight and upfront. I was looking through your videos and I don't see any videos made on FB ads tutorials is there a reason for that ???
Well, yes. I don't think people should spend money on facebook ads to promote RedBubble designs. it's throwing money down the toilet while referring people to a huge marketplace with 800,000 of your competitors. Even with affiliate marketing with my own site, I almost never use sponsored ads for traffic. I choose a topic that I know a lot about, and do my keywords research- basing my traffic on SEO and Pinterest.
@@MeyTribe Ah Ok I guess that make sense ....so ...you are not at all for any kinda paid ads ? , even on other platforms ..?? and How does one do a keywords research though ...; }
Thank you for this video.. I'm a big Pinterest pinner. I have more than 50 boards and some are huge too. You know, BTW this Tag suggestion is Stupid regarding they suggest 15 Tags minimum?🤔😳😳😳 I have like a total of 100 designs to upload and that's a lot of darn Tags to do just to upload!!!! Google says 3-5 is fine! I wish I knew this before I almost got Trigger finger cos of that stupid suggestion from Redbubble?
@@MeyTribe I assume we can use this strategy as well with merch by Amazon instead of redbubble. I have to look into it to see if Amazon allows us to use the links to our products. I'm new so I'd like to make sure. Dont want to get banned lol. Thanks again for your video!!!
@@elvis723 I never thought Amazon might not allow people to promote their own products, but yeah - better safe than sorry :) The system totally applies to anything... Society6, zazzle, teepublic... I just chose Redbubble cause of their built in lack of pin-it access :)
I'm new to this and studying pinterest before using it. Do we have to have different tags and description for each photos in order to avoid spam? I'm planning to upload different mockups of the same design and wondering about spam.
For an example, can I create a board for throw pillow and floor pillows separately and create another new board for pillows and add the same images that I uploaded for throw pillow and floor pillows but in collage form ?
I am somewhat familiar with marketing. It is definitely what I enjoy doing, even more so than designing. However Pinterest is definitely my weak point. I tend to use Facebook and Instagram with video mock ups from Place it! Thanks for the info
Hey Mey! Thanks for the video, it was really helpful. One question though, is it okay if we pin our competitors in the same board where I have my artwork? Or does it always have to be in a different board?
Hi, thank you for great video! I would like to promote my redbubble products on pinterest, so I'm wondering if it's better to make a new account or use the old one (about 300 folowers) which consists of boards not mostly conected with products I want to promote... In addition, I want to promote products from one niche. Thanks in advance!
Followers are not the main issue with Pinterest... You can have many followers and no views or Clicks, or have 2 followers with many views. It's all about having more views and clicks. You can use the old one, set up a new one, or... Do both
Thank you, Mey! You’re awesome!! I have a question: how often should I publish pins promoting my pod store front in RB? Would one pin a day be enough? What do you think? 😄
This is the method that I use to save Redbubble images: * Go to my Manage Portfolio page * Click the cog icon on an artwork, and choose Promote Products * Click on the three dots below the artwork you want to save images of, and click Download Images * Save the product images from that page. I think it's faster than inspecting elements, and I can then import those photos into Canva or other editor. Also, for the people who wanna click the pin button on a product's image... if you go into Account Settings -> Edit Profile, at the bottom you can choose to hide or unhide the Pinterest 'Pin It' button. If you wanna pin your work, ensure this setting is disabled. You can re-enable when you're done saving images.
It is indeed easier, but it doesn't show you all the options... If you look at the sticker for example, and check out the images you can download- they are all on bottles. The bigger sizes cannot be downloaded from the promote products page. (That's why I showed the inspect part, for people who want to use other sizes) Also- the prints and canvases- the download image option from the product promote page only gives you the small canvas size :) If you do Inspect element on a print, after choosing the largest option- you could use that photo which is more impressive and more eye catching :) But I think that out of all the video that was the least important thing. The most important is the mckups, and the manual pins- that have better sizes to "play nice" with Pinterest, as ALL of RedBubble's photos- are too small for Pinterest :)
I'm sorry if I missed this, I do need to go back and rewatch this video because I am having a hard time with Pinterest. Is this a Personal or Business account?
That wasn’t actually in the tutorial lol so you haven’t missed it. It’s a business account, and I think I took it for granted that people would know that. Thanks for pointing that out :) Business accounts are free + you have analytics.
I have question so you said instead of using one account for all your designs, it's best to create separate pinterest accounts for various categories of products like for example home decor? Right

www.ampfluence.com/pinterest-business-account-vs-personal-account/
Hey there @Mey Aroyo from neighbor country of n. Macedonia :) first of all i want to thank you for your content, i learned a lot. i have a question about this. i have done the manual upload and filled out everything, but when i go to my pin i dont see my description that i put in just product details about red bubble products and a link to go buy it. has something changed from the time of you uploading this video? thanks Mey, lots of love.
This is an awesome video, thank you! I just started with Redbubble a couple of weeks ago and I've been curious as to how to post on Pinterest!
Well, now you know :)
Congrats on starting with redbubble - and welcome to my channel
You mentioned that if we had an interest in a video regarding PlaecIt you would make one.
I would like you to do that. There is a ton of stuff in PlaceIt and I would love to see your advice on this.
You will not even believe the timing of your comment !!! I was just finalizing April’s schedule for today’s video- and had a spot open lol
And it's on !!!

The schedule for April with the Place It video coming up on April 17th!
Instagram marketing will surely be a video on April! I will post the April video list at the end of this month !
And maybe a short PlaceIt video too.
Just find that balance between creating and marketing :)
And if you do market - use Pinterest lol
There are some more marketing videos coming up later this month and in April :)
@@MeyTribe Exactly, right? They are both rabbit holes, it can be challenging for sure. I'll stay tuned and subscribed :)
@@ellceez That's sweet of you :)
And feel free to ask for any videos if you want, I'm working on my list of topics for April :)
Great video! I just started using pinterest to market my redbubble products, I have learnt some useful tips from you ! Can you pls also share the process on setting up a blog to promote your products ? Thanks a lot!
I actually have done that in several videos since this one was made :)
th-cam.com/video/-_HT1tOS8_w/w-d-xo.html
Like this one :)
It's not strictly blogging, just a website to promote your POD.
@@MeyTribe thank you..❤️
Your video is very helpful ,thanks
You are welcome :)
thanks so much for sharing your knowledge on this Mey - I'm at 21:53. brain is full to the brim and I have created a lovely (well I think so) Canva Pin ... ok back to the vid ... :)
Ohhhhh that's so cool ! I do that too, with web-dev videos, start watching, stop, do, and go back to watching LOL
Thank you so much for this wonderfully presented video. You take the time to clearly explain all of the content, so amazing, indeed.
I am a newbie in the digital world. There is so much to learn. I am looking forward to watching all of your videos now and in the future.
God bless you.
Excellent ideas and I learned some stuff!
I finally found you!
Here I am LOL
Hi, thanks for this valuable content. Am a new subscriber, also an absolute noob to Pinterest. Is it better to open a business account or just regular one on Pinterest?
The business account gives you access to statistics, so it's a favorite of mine.
@@MeyTribe Thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing this amazing content. It is so helpful. Much appreciated.
Glad it was helpful!
Hi Mey, I like your videos a lot. If I sell prints on society 6 and tshirts etc on Redbubble, some of which have a common design, how do you promote both on Pinterest?
Well, if they are under the same niche - you simply add both to Pinterest.
You can upload pins with links to any website
I have another question, is it better to open a business account or a personal one?
On pinterest ? Whichever you want. You have more access to data & statistics with a business one.
Beauty and the knowledge thanks for sharing your ideas highness ❤️ helped a lot like God sent.
Ohhh thanks
This was/is a great video. You got yourself a new subscriber. Query: I assume you have to make a separate Pinterest account for every POD platform you use? I.e. one for Society6, one for Spring, one for Teepublic, etc... Or is there a way to use multiple links? (Doesn't seem like something Redbubble would go for.)
Hey, not sure why you'd assume that, as Pinterest was built for people to save in one place - photos and ideas from all over the web.
I would more recommend having separate Pinterest accounts based on Niches... So for example: if you're selling awesome patterns on Society6, and cute text phrases that are funny on Teepublic>>
You can have separate pinterest accounts for S6 and Teepublic, OR-
Have an account for home decor- sharing both home decor items from both platforms, and have an account for clothing/accessories - sharing from both platforms.
❤️ Thank ú
If I may ask : can I open account as GRAPHIC DESIGNER on Pinterest have different sets of board seperate for shirts/ greetings/ homedecor & my non compitative pins from other artists ?
First off- hey, happy to see you like the content here
Hello Mey ...thank you for all the tips and pointers, as always straight and upfront.
@@MeyTribe Ah Ok I guess that make sense ....so ...you are not at all for any kinda paid ads ? , even on other platforms ..?? and How does one do a keywords research though ...; }
So is it a better idea to have teamed account or would having an overall account be okay?
You can have an overall account that has shared boards with other people :)
This was so super useful, thank you!! Subscribed and looking forward to more :)
Happy you liked it !
Learned a lot. Thanks for this video!!
Happy to hear :)
Any other topics you're interested in learning about ?
@@MeyTribe I assume we can use this strategy as well with merch by Amazon instead of redbubble. I have to look into it to see if Amazon allows us to use the links to our products. I'm new so I'd like to make sure. Dont want to get banned lol. Thanks again for your video!!!
@@elvis723 I never thought Amazon might not allow people to promote their own products, but yeah - better safe than sorry :)
The system totally applies to anything...
You have to have tags and description so that Pinterest would know what the pin is about. Different mockups won't spam at all
For an example, can I create a board for throw pillow and floor pillows separately and create another new board for pillows and add the same images that I uploaded for throw pillow and floor pillows but in collage form ?
If you upload your own pins and not pin directly from RB ? sure!
Though that seems to be a bit weird to me, no ? I mean, why ?
I am somewhat familiar with marketing. It is definitely what I enjoy doing, even more so than designing. However Pinterest is definitely my weak point. I tend to use Facebook and Instagram with video mock ups from Place it! Thanks for the info
Good luck becoming a success on interest as well
Hey Mey! Thanks for the video, it was really helpful.
One question though, is it okay if we pin our competitors in the same board where I have my artwork?
Or does it always have to be in a different board?
Ohhhh of course you can :) I was just saying not to do it cause most people would not want to promote a direct competitor of theirs .
@@MeyTribe Ahh alright, thank you so much!
This should be a good one. Oh wait all her videos are great :)
Ohhhh that's so sweet
I so agree!
@@SharonPerp I wish they had GIF comments like on Fb so i could do all these cute heartsy stuff
Do both
@@MeyTribe Thanks a lot! ❤
Thank you, Mey! You’re awesome!! I have a question: how often should I publish pins promoting my pod store front in RB? Would one pin a day be enough? What do you think? 😄
thank you
♥♥
You're welcome :)
This is I need.. Thank you😊🤗
This is the method that I use to save Redbubble images:
* Go to my Manage Portfolio page
* Click the cog icon on an artwork, and choose Promote Products
* Click on the three dots below the artwork you want to save images of, and click Download Images
* Save the product images from that page.
(That's why I showed the inspect part, for people who want to use other sizes)
Also- the prints and canvases- the download image option from the product promote page only gives you the small canvas size :)
If you do Inspect element on a print, after choosing the largest option- you could use that photo which is more impressive and more eye catching :)
But I think that out of all the video that was the least important thing.
The most important is the mckups, and the manual pins- that have better sizes to "play nice" with Pinterest, as ALL of RedBubble's photos- are too small for Pinterest :)
great info thanks
You're welcome :)
Awesome video. Many thanks!
Many welcomes ! Lol
Agreed -- thanks again
I'm sorry if I missed this, I do need to go back and rewatch this video because I am having a hard time with Pinterest. Is this a Personal or Business account?
That wasn’t actually in the tutorial lol so you haven’t missed it.
It’s a business account, and I think I took it for granted that people would know that. Thanks for pointing that out :)
Business accounts are free + you have analytics.
Thank you so much
You're most welcome
Love the information
Glad it was helpful!
tHANK YOU iVE LEARNT SOOOOO MUCH
I have question so you said instead of using one account for all your designs, it's best to create separate pinterest accounts for various categories of products like for example home decor? Right
