Yes, I don't candy coat it. Some people seem to not like this. They need to be coddled. Well, that's not me. I once had a student come to me for lessons after spending $50k on lessons with 2 huge schools. I watched him hit about 8 balls I turned to the father and said "it's garbage ... I need to rebuild the whole thing." 18 hours later we rebuilt it and he was hitting it amazingly well. 50k and this guy was super bent over, super inside out, hitting a low 30 yard hook with a 7 iron so it really was garbage. Funny thing is, before he brought his so to me, he was bragging about how great his kids swing was. He was a mini tour player who couldn't make a cut before he met me. If I don't say it no one else will.
How do you not have more likes on this video ? If i could keep hitting the like button i would !! All your videos are all amazing . I have learnt so much from you . Thank you
I only started posting again in May. As I keep making more and more people play the best golf of their lives everyone will find out about my channel. As people tell others it will keep growing. Give it time.
My distance has certainly improved with Paul’s lessons and at 72 that is good. - if only I could stop the occasional opening the club face causing a kind of shank. It’s like an infliction especially with the wedge and similar irons which require a feel shot.
@@paulwilsongolf tmu search all the time, more so to just stare at them lol but yeah the market is so high even a Cobra Amp set of irons is 200 let alone a decent driver, and everything else. But one never knows so I just injoy playing golf next door when I can
my fairway wood shorter than my driver; therefore its arc is shorter, too; should I find longer legal fairway wood...? are all adult drivers at their longest legal length? leaning forward a little more when addressing ball by standing an inch further away from ball doesn't widen arc at all, right?? (assume arms already straight) thanks in advance... EDIT: I SEE RULES MAX CLUB LENGTH = 48 IN
This is so me. Got a new driver for early Christmas and all the fresh ball marks are on the toe area. Just not extending my arms at impact I guess. So at address with driver should right arm be as straight as left? Yours looks as though it is. I have seen others say keep slightly bent. Do we use the hinge/heel of lead hand to get width?
That is lifting up slightly trying to see the amazing drives you think you are going to hit. Remember to delay your reaction to see the shot until after you actually hit it. Left arm is dead straight at address.
Thanks a lot for your tip Psul. Can you please advise when you start to turn your legs and hip, do you start with the pressing and turning from your inside trail foot toe first? Thanks
I am feeling the ground first which allows me to shift and turn. So as I hit the top I am thinking of my back foot and the weight loading to the instep/heel. Once I feel the club set I fire. Do this: th-cam.com/video/7z5eUcSwlSk/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/ibkTQCoxUaA/w-d-xo.html
thats right thats science teaching..But the new age we have super lite clubs that will increase speed for the ones cant do this..like me i cant seperate lower body from the top of body cause of rods an pins in back.Fusion in back body has to all move together has been challenge to get back to scratch golfer...Dont matter my condition i have to play from pro tee box cause of AGE what all clubs keep telling me
Seems you are doing something right though because you are a great player. You've come a long way. I think you can get to scratch without a problem next season.
@@paulwilsongolf you helped me more than i can ever thank you for..i put hammer to the PGA pro at the club again this weekend he wanted to have long drive contest an he lost THX for all you doing
A teacher that tells you honestly “you are not good at it” and encourage you to keep practicing, is a true teacher!

Thanks so much for the promo. I used to be a leafs fan but then moved to Vegas so I kind of have to support them.
More distance more mechanical advantage , Great tip Paul!

Great video
Love that!

Not sure that's a shank. Could be blading it. Here is the shank tip: th-cam.com/video/m9kj0548rYw/w-d-xo.html
thanks Paul.
You're welcome!
Thanks for the tip as always, love your explanations cause I definitely need them with my old junk clubs lol
Happy to help! Just pick up a used set of top of the line 3 year old clubs on ebay. That is the cheapest way to get a new set.

Nope. You need to use your fairway wood. Keep watching my tips and you will build a great swing.
I love you Paul Wilson.
