For Majora's Mask I would go with "Final Hours". One of the darkest and most ominous pieces in all of Zelda, the song really conveys the feeling of running out of time with the bells being sounded almost like a plea among the darkness.
Before watching I read your comment and thought, well if it isn't Final Hours, it had better be Stone Tower Temple. Both are the most iconic tracks in MM, in a game full of amazing music!

While Requiem of Spirit felt like I was attending a funeral. Calming yes while Charming as well. However the Prelude of Light never had an emotion if not. It probably wasn't much of one. it just tingled however, it was welcomed.
It's pretty amazing how they managed to convey all these different emotions in such short clips, and they even managed to match the vibes for the different temples. I loved Requiem of Spirit, it was such a melancholy tune.
Have you heard the Twilight Princess version, Queen Rutela's theme? They made it much more emotional by tying it into the storyline. Don't just listen to the song, you should watch a gameplay video from the point where Link has to accompany a carriage from Hyrule Castle to Kakariko Village to save a wounded Zora child, then just let the cutscene play. It's quite beautiful.

I can’t be the only one that prefers the Sacred Grove theme over Midna’s Lament in Twilight Princess right? It’s a beautiful, calming remix of the Lost Woods theme from Ocarina of Time that I could listen to for hours.
Skyward Sword: Lanayru Desert Past Ocarina of Time: Gerudo Valley / Song of Storms Majora's Mask: Oath to Order Breath of the Wild: Monk Maz Koshia Battle Wind Waker: Dragon Roost Island Spirit Tracks: Overworld Adventure
Nice list, it had me humming along to a few of the tunes. In my opinion I'd change a few of them. OOT - Forest Temple Theme Spirit Tracks - Tower of Spirits theme Twilight Princess - Zant Boss Battle Skyward Sword - Ancient Cistern theme BOTW - Divine Beast Vah Ruta theme maybe i just like dungeon music haha
I've only know about The Legend of Zelda for 3 years and it's already became my favorite video game series which is really saying something for me. My favorite song is probably Zelda's lullaby but that might just be because I find it absolutely adorable when Terrako plays it in age of calamity
Legend of Zelda: Title Theme/Overworld (what else could it be?) Zelda II: Adventure of Link: Palace Theme (again, couldn't really be anything else) Link to the Past: Hyrule Castle (It's been reused in more games, and is more iconic than anything else introduced here, except Zelda's Theme) Link's Awakening: Ballad of the Windfish (Not sure why this wasn't chosen. Ballad of the Windfish moves the soul) Ocarina of Time: Temple of Time: The choir is both heavenly, and ominous, perfect for a game that is essentially Zelda's Magnum Opus (at least before Breath of the Wild) Majora's Mask: Song of Healing (Again, I'm shocked this one wasn't chosen, given it's the whole theme of the game in one song) Oracle of Ages/Seasons??? Four Swords: ??? Wind Waker: Dragon Roost Island (The perfect theme to represent the Rito. It didn't get the justice it deserved in Breath of the Wild, though). Four Swords Adventures: ??? Minish Cap: ??? Twilight Princess: Midna's Lament (It really couldn't be anything else) Phantom Hourglass:??? Spirit Tracks: Realm Overworld (You know a theme is good when it's the only theme from your game to get remixed in Super Smash Brothers) Skyward Sword: Thank You (Fi's Farewell)/Ballad of the Goddess (Both masterful themes, the best departure theme for a partner, and Zelda's Lullaby Reversed. They both deserve this slot) Link Between Worlds: Lorule Castle: (It couldn't be anything else) Tri Force Heroes: ??? Breath of the Wild: Sidon's Theme (The Hyrule Castle Themes are amazing, but Sidon's theme made the fandom fall in love with the Zora Prince. That's impressive.) Tears of the Kingdom: Saving Zelda (Final Dive): Easily the best song in the soundtrack. Who knew combining The Song of the Hero and Zelda's Lullaby together would sound so amazing? Echoes of Wisdom; I'm still bitter about there being no Ballad of the Goddess remix. Seriously, though, the Dark Link battle theme is amazing,
For Spirit Tracks I would definitely go for Malladus part 3. It’s such an ominous theme and the way it weaves the overworks theme into it is just perfect! Great climax to an underrated game
In the remake of Link’s Awakening, I think the Face Shrine music was the best. It captures the mood at this point in the game when Link realizes that in order to escape Koholint, he must wake the Windfish, and that means everyone in the dream will disappear.
First, thank you for including Lorule Castle, most epic castle/temple theme there is, also one of my favorite of all the songs in Zelda. These are the ones I would have corrected on this video... other wise the list isn't too bad A link to the past: Lost Woods theme Ocarina of Time: Forest Temple Theme, Gerudo Theme or Spirit Temple Theme The Wind Waker: Main theme Breath of the Wild: Attacking Divine Beast Vah Ruta theme
The castle theme in botw also has a bit of the main Zelda theme, and sounds like it might have ballad of the wind fish, although that makes less sense.
I don't know how I made it all these years without realizing that the ocarina melody in OoT's title theme is the same as the recorder tune from the original LoZ.
Fi got me hooked to the Legends of Zelda series with her theme, I remember playing this part of the game in a Best Buy when it first released and got chills. Next thing you know I got that game for my birthday :D
the overworld main theme was not composed in one day. there is a confusion because the track that took one day was the title theme of the game, which is just a rearrangement of the main overworld that was already composed
There are so many good TLOZ soundtracks that it's impossible to list them all lol. I love almost 100% of Skyward Sword's music. My favorite Ocarina of Time soundtrack if definitely the Title Theme
A LttP- Hyrule castle theme Link’s awakening- ballad of the wind fish OoT- Gerudo Valley (honorable mention to Song of storms and Sarias song/lost woods theme) Majora’s Mask- clock town, stone tower temple, or song of healing would all be justified for the top spot (but Final hours is my favorite). Otherwise I generally agree with the picks. But really, all of the music in this series is incredible!
Thank you mojo for this I can hear all Zelda songs while going to 💤. But favorites will be. Guerdo valley (OOT), mipha theme (BOTW,) and Battle of Goddess (S.S).
@@pasqualembisceglia1989 That is confusing; in Majora's Mask, Saria's Song didn't play in the Great Bay Coast area. Why not use the actual theme from the game?
There is some pretty epic music in Zelda spinoff games too! Cadence of Hyrule has some downright bangers and Age of Calamity has beefed up battle versions of classic tunes.
For Ocarina Of Time I would say Lost Woods/ Saria's Song. I agree on Modna's Lament for Twilight Princess. As for Breath Of The Wild and Tears Of The Kingdom I would say the Molduga battle. But Hyrule Castle's music in BOTW is up there too.
Hey, MojoPlays! You guys should definitely list the best song from every Sonic the Hedgehog game. Here are a couple of examples. Examples: Green Hill Zone - Sonic the Hedgehog (1991) Tropical Resort Act 1 - Sonic Colors (2010) Live and Learn - Sonic Adventure 2 (2001) The Palace That Was Found (Evil Foundry) - Sonic and the Secret Rings (2007) Sky Sanctuary Zone - Sonic & Knuckles (1994) His World - Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) Escape from the City (City Escape) - Sonic Adventure 2 (2001) Sea Bottom Segue - Sonic Lost World (2013) What I'm Made Of - Sonic Heroes (2003) Metropolis Zone - Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (1992) Jeh Jeh Rocket - Sonic Rush (2005) Crank the Heat Up!! (Final Egg) - Sonic Adventure (1998) Sunset Park Zone Act 3 - Sonic Triple Trouble (1994) Reach for the Stars - Sonic Colors (2010) Would you mind doing this list?
My favorite game in the series is Zelda. 2. The adventures of Link and my favorite song from that is when you go to the first town and you enter a house I could sit there for 8 hours listening to that song
for oracle of seasons for me it was the temple of seasons, because one can say this is where it all begins where you are given the power over seasons and the means to strike back against the general of darkness who imprisoned Din.
When I was playing Majora's Mask, I had to redo the Woodfall temple cuz i ran out of time and I had to turn my sound off cuz I couldn't listen to the wails or whatever they were anymore. Same with my brother when he was playing City in the Sky in Twilight Princess. He eventually turned the sound all the way down cuz he couldn't take it anymore lol
I was surprised by the Minish cap choice, but their rationale was really good. I like that their decision is by someone who played the game, not just somebody who listened to all the soundtracks and decided from that.
I was so curious what you would pick for ocarina, it's such a musical masterpiece of a game that there is so many options, but I never thought for a second the opening theme, but know as an adult I understand It is was by far hands down the first most emotional piece of video game music in history
I can only hope we see Fi again in a future instalment. I noticed we got the Fi noise during the photo cutscene before the Master Sword was hidden by Zelda in Breath of the Wild. Actually, the Master Sword seems to be having something odd happening to it in Tears of the Kingdom. 🤔
If Fi doesn’t show up in some capacity in the new game, with both the teaser from BOTW and the story arc of the broken master sword, I’ll be sorely disappointed.
Crimson loft wing is terribly underrated. Idk if I would’ve selected it for this video, but I’ve never seen it on anybody’s top music picks for Zelda and that’s a bummer
Here is my different votes OOT- Forest Temple. (While yes, the title theme is great, it's lacking that impact. I could listen to Forest temple for hours on end, while the title theme i would get bored within the third time) MM- Clock Town Day 3 (Stone Tower is good, but it's not as great as capturing the essence of the game as Day 3 is) WW- Molgera Theme (It's so unique and great, and the remix in Smash Bro's adds to it) Spirit Tracks- Sacred Duet leading into Maladus's Themes (While I simply adore the overworld theme, the one i offered provide a story to be told about the game [Maladus Pt. 3 even incorparates the overworld theme!]) BoTW- Field (Day) (While yes, Hyrule Castle is bombastic, and grand, most of the game you are wandering through a derelict rebuilding Hyrule, and the Field theme captures that perfectly. The somber beauty in the world.) or The Main Theme (It starts out with a piano as you stepped into the sun, and shows you the land of Hyrule, and the beauty of it all. And it captures all the adventure you could have, before it ends suddenly with piano, leaving the rest up to you)
My favorite OOT theme would be the song of storms My favorite MM theme is the clock town song For TP it is Midna’s lament For BOTW it is kakariko village theme
I agree with them all except Clock town day 2 for majora's mask and and high rule field for twilight princess. Dragon roost island theme is what actually got me into wanting to play music

Legend of Zelda: Title Theme/Overworld (what else could it be?)
Zelda II: Adventure of Link: Palace Theme (again, couldn't really be anything else)
Link to the Past: Hyrule Castle (It's been reused in more games, and is more iconic than anything else introduced here, except Zelda's Theme)
Link's Awakening: Ballad of the Windfish (Not sure why this wasn't chosen. Ballad of the Windfish moves the soul)
Ocarina of Time: Temple of Time: The choir is both heavenly, and ominous, perfect for a game that is essentially Zelda's Magnum Opus (at least before Breath of the Wild)
Majora's Mask: Song of Healing (Again, I'm shocked this one wasn't chosen, given it's the whole theme of the game in one song)
Oracle of Ages/Seasons???
Four Swords: ???
Wind Waker: Dragon Roost Island (The perfect theme to represent the Rito. It didn't get the justice it deserved in Breath of the Wild, though).
Four Swords Adventures: ???
Minish Cap: ???
Twilight Princess: Midna's Lament (It really couldn't be anything else)
Phantom Hourglass:???
Spirit Tracks: Realm Overworld (You know a theme is good when it's the only theme from your game to get remixed in Super Smash Brothers)
Skyward Sword: Thank You (Fi's Farewell)/Ballad of the Goddess (Both masterful themes, the best departure theme for a partner, and Zelda's Lullaby Reversed. They both deserve this slot)
Link Between Worlds: Lorule Castle: (It couldn't be anything else)
Tri Force Heroes: ???
Breath of the Wild: Sidon's Theme (The Hyrule Castle Themes are amazing, but Sidon's theme made the fandom fall in love with the Zora Prince. That's impressive.)
Tears of the Kingdom: Saving Zelda (Final Dive): Easily the best song in the soundtrack.
My favorite tracks were Tarm Ruins from Oracle of Seasons, the Lost Woods from Ocarina of Time, and Lake Hylia from Twilight Princess.
In the remake of Link’s Awakening, I think the Face Shrine music was the best. It captures the mood at this point in the game when Link realizes that in order to escape Koholint, he must wake the Windfish, and that means everyone in the dream will disappear.
The Hyrule Castle theme for BOTW is purely incredible
17:00 dammit I started crying all over again from that scene ;- ;
First, thank you for including Lorule Castle, most epic castle/temple theme there is, also one of my favorite of all the songs in Zelda.
These are the ones I would have corrected on this video... other wise the list isn't too bad
A link to the past: Lost Woods theme
Ocarina of Time: Forest Temple Theme, Gerudo Theme or Spirit Temple Theme
The Wind Waker: Main theme
Breath of the Wild: Attacking Divine Beast Vah Ruta theme
I can go ahead and fill in Gerudo Valley for you 😂😂. I rank it over Lost Woods now ngl
I’ve been waiting for this video!
I would definitely go for the Molgera theme for Windwaker, it's just insaneee
The castle theme in botw also has a bit of the main Zelda theme, and sounds like it might have ballad of the wind fish, although that makes less sense.
I don't know how I made it all these years without realizing that the ocarina melody in OoT's title theme is the same as the recorder tune from the original LoZ.
Okay I did not expect a video like this to pop up recently, and I LOVE IT
Fi got me hooked to the Legends of Zelda series with her theme, I remember playing this part of the game in a Best Buy when it first released and got chills. Next thing you know I got that game for my birthday :D
For ocarina of time I think gerudo’s valley theme is way better than the title theme
For Oracle of Seasons i would go with Tarm Ruins. It is so mystical and at the same time it gives you an air of exploration :)
Good job on playing the Chamber of Insight music while talking about the Sea of Trees!
4:51 Hard disagree which means this video gets a dislike. The correct answer for the favorite track in Ocarina of Time is Gerudo Valley.
Exactly. What were they thinking? I know OoT has so many good songs, but how do you not put Gerudo Valley at #1?
MojoPlays: Starts off the list with "Overworld Theme"
also MojoPlays: uses _Title Theme_ as background under the voiceovers
I’d have to say the music from when you see the first giant in majoras mask is the best. Something about it just is really awesome
For Link’s Awakening DX, my favourites are Tal Tal Heights and Turtle Rock, and Ballad of the Wind Fish!
I listen to Oracle of Ages/Seasons OST all the time … so many great songs
the overworld main theme was not composed in one day. there is a confusion because the track that took one day was the title theme of the game, which is just a rearrangement of the main overworld that was already composed
There are so many good TLOZ soundtracks that it's impossible to list them all lol. I love almost 100% of Skyward Sword's music. My favorite Ocarina of Time soundtrack if definitely the Title Theme
A LttP- Hyrule castle theme
Link’s awakening- ballad of the wind fish
OoT- Gerudo Valley (honorable mention to Song of storms and Sarias song/lost woods theme)
Majora’s Mask- clock town, stone tower temple, or song of healing would all be justified for the top spot (but Final hours is my favorite).
I really enjoy Gerudo Valley and Spirit Temple music from Oot
Picking just one for each game is kinda painful as the soundtracks get more elaborate over the years. This series has so many absolute bangers
Spirit Temple will always be my Ocarina of Time Goat
0:14 well, i played OOT again recently, i didn't know they made a remake with zelda botw engine
and graphics too! truly an amazing oot remake
I like Saria's Song from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (1998) and also Super Smash Bros Melee (2001).
What if Saria's Song wasn't in SSBM? That game isn't even from the Legend of Zelda franchise.
@@miguelgarces8946 It's an alternate song in Great Bay.
@@pasqualembisceglia1989 That is confusing; in Majora's Mask, Saria's Song didn't play in the Great Bay Coast area. Why not use the actual theme from the game?
Ballad of the Goddess would’ve been my pick from Skyward
There is some pretty epic music in Zelda spinoff games too! Cadence of Hyrule has some downright bangers and Age of Calamity has beefed up battle versions of classic tunes.
Ballad of the goddess man
For Ocarina Of Time I would say Lost Woods/ Saria's Song.
Examples:
Green Hill Zone - Sonic the Hedgehog (1991)
Tropical Resort Act 1 - Sonic Colors (2010)
Live and Learn - Sonic Adventure 2 (2001)
The Palace That Was Found (Evil Foundry) - Sonic and the Secret Rings (2007)
Sky Sanctuary Zone - Sonic & Knuckles (1994)
His World - Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)
Escape from the City (City Escape) - Sonic Adventure 2 (2001)
Sea Bottom Segue - Sonic Lost World (2013)
What I'm Made Of - Sonic Heroes (2003)
Metropolis Zone - Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (1992)
Jeh Jeh Rocket - Sonic Rush (2005)
Crank the Heat Up!! (Final Egg) - Sonic Adventure (1998)
Sunset Park Zone Act 3 - Sonic Triple Trouble (1994)
Reach for the Stars - Sonic Colors (2010)
Would you mind doing this list?
Personal replacements for this list:
OG: death screen song
LttP: sanctuary
OoT: gerudo valley
MM: end of days
Minish: Minish village
TotK: Colgera
My favorite game in the series is Zelda. 2. The adventures of Link and my favorite song from that is when you go to the first town and you enter a house I could sit there for 8 hours listening to that song
Midna's Lament, Hyrule Field (TP), Song of Storms, Ganondorf's Theme (TP), Dark Lord Ganondorf Duel (TP), King Bulbin's Theme.
for oracle of seasons for me it was the temple of seasons, because one can say this is where it all begins where you are given the power over seasons and the means to strike back against the general of darkness who imprisoned Din.
I love a ton of songs from Majoras mask ❤
When I was playing Majora's Mask, I had to redo the Woodfall temple cuz i ran out of time and I had to turn my sound off cuz I couldn't listen to the wails or whatever they were anymore. Same with my brother when he was playing City in the Sky in Twilight Princess. He eventually turned the sound all the way down cuz he couldn't take it anymore lol
Id argue Sarias Song is the best for OOT and the main theme for WW are the best
You basically nailed all of them bro good job! The only one I disagreed on was the link between works my favorite song was the ice level
I was surprised by the Minish cap choice, but their rationale was really good. I like that their decision is by someone who played the game, not just somebody who listened to all the soundtracks and decided from that.
Great list. Though personally I would go with Gerudo Valley for OOT, Hidden Village for TP and Ballad Of The Goddess for SS
You got good taste homie. Well done. Can you do the same with other game titles? Like Megaman, Final Fantasy, Mario, Metroid etc?
I love fi's farewell
Umm at 10 seconds in is NOT ocarina of time music. Its botw
I dunno, I think Nayru's theme is the best in Oracle of Ages. I'd sit there for ages at the start to listen to it.
Yea that would have been a way better pick. There’s a also a dungeon in that game with very good music I think it’s called the skull dungeon
Here is my different votes
OOT- Forest Temple. (While yes, the title theme is great, it's lacking that impact. I could listen to Forest temple for hours on end, while the title theme i would get bored within the third time)
MM- Clock Town Day 3 (Stone Tower is good, but it's not as great as capturing the essence of the game as Day 3 is)
WW- Molgera Theme (It's so unique and great, and the remix in Smash Bro's adds to it)
Spirit Tracks- Sacred Duet leading into Maladus's Themes (While I simply adore the overworld theme, the one i offered provide a story to be told about the game [Maladus Pt. 3 even incorparates the overworld theme!])
BoTW- Field (Day) (While yes, Hyrule Castle is bombastic, and grand, most of the game you are wandering through a derelict rebuilding Hyrule, and the Field theme captures that perfectly. The somber beauty in the world.) or The Main Theme (It starts out with a piano as you stepped into the sun, and shows you the land of Hyrule, and the beauty of it all. And it captures all the adventure you could have, before it ends suddenly with piano, leaving the rest up to you)
My favorite for Minish Cap was the Mt Crenel theme and for OOT it would either be Gerudo Valley or Saria’s song. Glad to see Dragon roost on here tho.
Good list. I personally would have said kakariko village or gerudo valley for oot and kass' theme for botw. Although botw kakariko village is good too
final hours for majora mask does a really really good job at portraying the emotion of the situation
My favorite OOT theme would be the song of storms
My favorite MM theme is the clock town song
For TP it is Midna’s lament
For BOTW it is kakariko village theme
@mojo_plays32 huh?
That’s a scam bot. Don’t listen to anything it says. I already reported it but that’s what you should do if you get one.
These are my personal top 5:
OoT title theme
Zelda’s lullaby
Midna’s lament
Fi’s farewell
Temple of time
I personally preferred the song from the end credits of A Link to the Past. I was obsessed with that track when I was a teen.
tloz ocarina of time - forest temple have best music, majoras mask - stone tower music, wind waker - molgera
Please rank the top songs from each main series Pokémon game!
Yessss!
I agree with them all except Clock town day 2 for majora's mask and and high rule field for twilight princess. Dragon roost island theme is what actually got me into wanting to play music
OoT title song ALWAYS AND WILL ALWAYS give me goose bumps
For Oracle of Ages I think it's better the Nayru singing theme. And for Oracle of Seasons I think it's better the Tarm Ruins theme. 💙❤️
