I put turmeric& cinnamon in my tea but I never thought of putting into my coffee I think this is a good idea I’m going to try it
I love the cinnamon and coffee together. It gives it a holiday, seasonal flavor. Makes it seem like I'm always on vacation! Lol... Plus it's good for your health. 💛

I hope you get the chance! Don't ever stop believing that it is possible and things will start opening up. I think when it doesn't happen on our timeframe it can make us impatient and cause us to give up. It happens quickly for some and others have to wait a little longer. It's all part of the process and the journey. Enjoy the moments you have in between, too. Time is invaluable and irreplaceable. Money is renewable. 💛

That's so exciting! Congrats! You're almost there! It's so much fun, but it is simultaneously one of the hardest things I've ever done! Just make sure you prepare for the unexpected and a few ugly cries along the way. It's the part people don't tell you about. I recognize where you're camping because my daughter went to the University of California Santa Cruz and I LOVE the Santa Cruz mountains. I had to move 4 hours away because of the cost of living, but this makes me want to buy a trailer as soon as I retire and do what you're doing. I've been thinking about it for 10 years, even though my sisters think I'm crazy. Watching your day makes me so happy!

The blue bird with the black crest is a Steller's Jay.
Last week I saw a bright yellow bird with black wings that had a yellow wing bar, eating fruit in my plum tree. It was probably an American Goldfinch.

I have a truck camper and I’ve never wanted a pull camper, but I’d love to try something small like this, especially if I could pull behind my car.
I tow with my 4 cylinder 2WD Honda CR-V. The next vehicle I get will be a better tow vehicle. Scamps and Casitas are also slightly lighter than the U-Haul. The U-Haul is heavy duty fiberglass in comparison.

I wish at times I had less pets as 8 is a bit much. However, they are wonderful and without them not sure where I would be these days. We are taking a trip anyway from WA to my childhood home of TN. I have a lil loafer vintage camper cute and glamorous, lol. We will have fun.

Hello T-Wanderer, As I watched you cooking that (yummy) pancake, I thought of a recommendation. Try Blue Diamond pans. They are lightweight (a GOOD thing) aluminum with a non-stick ceramic coating. Your pancake WILL NOT stick on a Blue Diamond pan. Now, I am a Long Time fan of Cast Iron cookware (!!!!), yet I use my Blue Diamond pans often. Any pan that can TEAR ME AWAY from Cast Iron MUST be good. Try them! They are fairly inexpensive too!!

Thank you! There are quite a few places where dogs are not permitted on trails. Most National Parks do not have dog friendly trails to help preserve the wildlife. A dog's scent can disrupt wildlife and their waste can leave foreign harmful bacteria for up to 4 years. 🫤

Wish I could do this! You make me realize just how short life is and that we should all be trying to do what makes us happy. Do you live on your own land or travel? What do you do in bad windy weather? There is NOTHING wrong with real grass fed butter. Don't fall for the hype.
It took 4 years of dreaming to make this epic trip a reality. I was able to work long enough and make enough money to pay my mortgage and other bills while I travel. I own my own house, but I haven't seen it since November... And you are exactly right... Nothing wrong with grass fed butter at all! 💛

I have thought about it. I don't need the solar for much and I have multiple charging devices if I run into trouble with the solar. I live very basic while I'm out here. I only have the power for USB or a 12V device.
@@tennesseewanderer okay cool...... just letting you know you can find them for around $100 or less depending on how many watt hours you want and also they can be drained all the way down unlike deep cell batteries.....and lighter to carry......ijs....

It's only a gas refrigerator that needs to be level. Do you have one of those? Keep it level or it will eventually stop working forever. New ones are very expensive.
Thankfully, I do not have a gas fridge. I have an amazing car refrigerator from ICECO. That doesn't need to be level at all to work properly and it uses so little power. It's been great!

Your body can't absorb turmeric unless you add pepper. Just thought you should know.
Thank you for the heads up. Black pepper increases the absorption rate, but turmeric is still effective without it... I might have to try adding some black pepper in my coffee tomorrow morning 😂😬🤪 It might be pretty darn good! I feel an experiment coming.

I know you love your pets,but this dry kibble is not suitable food for dogs or cats,in the long run it will damage their health,fresh food is the way to go,the poor dog looks so bored having to eat that while you eat good food,they are reduced to this day in day out.
You are right, I do love my pets. She gets salmon oil daily in her diet and beef liver treats. I also share a small portion of meat with her when I have meat. If it's something like salmon, the cat also gets some of that. She is also learning to like carrots and green beans. She gets a mixture throughout the day and is on high quality kibble at the moment. She is not bored with food by any means. Her coat and weight look great and her check-ups are great. When I have a more sustainable way to make her fresh dog food, I can do that, but it is a challenge when you barely have room in your cooler for your own food. She eats better than I do half the time.

Lived for 6 month full time w/my white husky (Kyra) in a little 14' trailer on my property before I built my house here in the mountains of San Diego. It was like a 6 month camping trip. Now I live in a permanent camp site on a hunting preserve. I call the valley I live in "Shangri-la". We even have a Buddhist temple here in the valley. One way in-one way out. Just like in the story.

My pets are treated for fleas and ticks, so they are not an issue. Rupert's litter is cleaned no less than every other day... So if that is what you are focused on, sounds like it's not the right lifestyle choice for you, but I love it and I do have a really great life. All the best!
