Well done! I’m similarly far along. Depending on what I count as my start weight, I’ve lost at least 10lbs.
The maths don’t stack up on that being fat of course- it’s likely muscle glycogen stores and the 4x amount of water they get stored in.
Now, it has settled down to what a diet used to feel like 10-15years ago (ie gradual daily fat loss).
I’m AMAZED how little food I want to eat. I have had so many mental battles with myself over the years as I diet-binge-feel disgusted- diet to no avail but now, I can live up to what I’m trying to achieve. I don’t think the doubters will believe we are still having to do it ourselves though but I don’t feel like this is an easy option when considered with injecting yourself every week!
The effects are wearing off a little (or rather I’m just hungry after eating 800-1000kcal net for ten days!) so it will be interesting to see how 5mg feels next month.
Well done, good luck and keep us posted 👍🏻

Well done to you too. You're right about how much of my loss was actually fat-loss, and this week I'll lose less, but I'm happy with a healthy gradual loss each week.
Day 6-7 are a little harder but I haven't caved or anything so I'm very happy!

That's great news. I get a few pangs every so often, but I'm tracking everything so I know I'm still on target for my daily calories.

well done on keeping going with the running
    cut down on the carbs.
bin the wheatabix, have a scrambled egg or live yoghurt nuts/seeds.berries
    get rid off the bagel.
the protein shake should be a replacement not an addition.

I still like my carbs though! But in much smaller portions than before, so I'm cool with that.

So. Is it a craving suppression drug or a weight loss drug?
How much would you lose if you ate 1500kcal without it and same exercise would you lose the same?
The problem for me is I love and think about food all the time and it's difficult to out train eating loads. If I took something to help It would be for stopping me thinking about food! Can't imagine what not thinking about food for a day let alone few weeks!

It's more for cravings rather than other drugs that perhaps target fat, so yes... if I ate the same calories and did the same exercise I'd lose the same weight.
But... like you I love food and this has put a stop (mostly) to those thoughts... so my body isn't craving food... plus it also slows down the rate of food passing through your stomach so you will feel fuller for longer.
Have a read up about Mounjaro if you think it's something that could help...

There are quite a few people who manage to eat 1500 calories on this and lose weight at 1-2 lbs week. For me the appetite suppression is so strong I’m lucky to eat 1200-1300 calories a day. The food noise and food craving STOPPED DEAD for me on day one. I have lots to lose so a lower calorie diet will be fine for me. It’s a tool and works as well as you use it. Definitely do the research first and don’t just follow us randos on the internet 🤣

I’m on Zepbound, which is the correlate to Manjouro. I’ve lost thinking about food. I have to remember to eat and now I can plan my meal around healthy food. I don’t crave sweets and carbs. I don’t want alcohol. My blood sugar has dropped from pre-diabetes into completely normal and my sleep apnea has disappeared.
      I’ve lost 55 pounds in 5 1/2 months. It’s a miracle.

I'm not going to comment on your overall eating/exercise/ health plan. Your business is your business. But I *strongly* suggest you schedule a consolation with an actual registered dietitian (RD or RDN)... NOT a 'weight loss coach' or a 'nutritionist' or a 'nutritional expert', but an ACTUAL RD/RDN. Provide them with ALL your relevant data, meds, and current & projected training load. You're currently doing 25mi/wk? This will only increase as this training block progresses. Man, you REALLY REALLY need someone with professional credentials to review your 1500 cal./day plan, while taking a GLP-1, WHILE training for a half marry. Just for reference, I'm like 100 lbs less than you. I'm running around 70mi/wk and I'm HAVING to consume on avg from 2500-2800/day just to maintain... and this w/o weight training tossed in; only doing body weight resistance work 3 days a week to stem muscle loss. Anyway, best of luck
