I'm tripping off the fact that there was no blue vase on the table before Joy knocked Becky in the table. Then all of a sudden, a blue vase appeared. Also, Joy knocked Becky down, the bat fell at Becky's foot but somehow it ended up in her hand for her to hit Joy. The Directors did not pay attention to details.

For one, he was being too friendly. Secondly, he could have informed his wife about her advances from the start. Thirdly, the wife noticed she was being somewhat cosy with her husband, why didn't she address that? Even when the husband seemed uncomfortable around Becky, the wife seemed oblivious.
