I appreciate this as a 2011 owner, helped me actually find my starter, now to just get the part and replace it

One thing after you back up intake manifold is to Chek for dirt falling into intake runner.

you can remove the starter from the bottom without touching the manifold , U already did BUT only Two trick that u need to do .... First free the wire coming from battery side to starter , so it will go with u down ( wire stopped u ) ..and there is a wire metal holder on the top of starter location ( free wire from it to let starter go down when u pull it) , Second: down left manifold metal bracket need to take off to get u more room ( 3 x12mm screws) and ur good to go ..

you can remove the starter from the bottom without loosening the manifold, its weird but you can wiggle it out from underneath and put it back as well from underneath but it has to be in different angles wiggled back in place then you just tighten the bolts and then boom

I'm glad you were able to do it that way. That's how the manual says. I tried for like an hour wiggling, twisting, pulling but nothing was working 😕.

I agree! If they gave you just one more inch of clearance this would be a breeze.
