The reason Vi didn't do her force field when told was because 1) she was under pressure and stressed 2) she was being yelled at to do her force field 3) she was always told not to use her powers

I found a hole It's not that violet couldn't make the force field big enough, it's simply because of her personality. She was shy, and kinda "emo" with the stereotypical "my family ruins my life" And another hole They didn't want dash to win the fight at such obscene speeds, not that they didn't want him to win. "Make it CLOSE" is what the father says, it was simply that it would seem too obvious if he won by soooo much at a young age, and STILL be a public super hero with blonde hair and LITERALLY the same height. You need to look at the other side, Violet was looking side to side, SHE WAS SCARED, PRESSURED, a girl who keeps to herself would likely not operate all under pressure. Dash is a stereotypical boy, always abrupt.
I agree, plus, we don't see Violet use a lot her super power. Dash use it like... All the time ? He practice it ! If Violet doesn't, even if she is older, without any practice you can't beat someone who use it all the time.
Yeah there are a ton of holes in this guys villain dash story, but there are plenty of other motives for him being the antagonist, like being overshadowed by his experienced and grown up sister and his overpowered baby brother. I could definitely see a rebellious teenager Dash doing villainy for attention and to stand out.
And violet being older doesn't mean more years of practice it means more years of her parents and society making her suppress her powers, and i think she could also be the villain because of being told to suppress her powers

Yes, that would be pretty cool, but how would he do it? It doesn't seem like he's smart enough to invent anything, and if he had powers, why would he expose a fellow super? On the comparing of the two, that's not how superpowers work. Violet's powers are based on her emotions. She couldn't make a force field around the plane because she was scared. While Dash's powers are based on his personality. Look at Flash, and Kid Flash. They're powers have never faltered because of their emotions. While the invisible woman's has. You just can't compare two people who have that different of superpowers.
The reason Dash wont be the Villain is because Pixar is focusing on the "family charm" aspect which is seen present in almost all Pixar movies. Dash being a Villain would break the entire point of Incredibles-a family super hero bond.
Well, if they made Dash the villain they could have him have a change of heart or something cheesy like that. Since Disney and Pixal are really big on teaching lessons, they could have one of those "no matter how much you change or what happens, you'll always have your family" or something like that

If you were a teenager who mostly kept to yourself aside from a few friends, and was generally the type to think that your family was hindering you from doing and being what you wanted to do and be, do you think that if you were in a private jet on your first mission as a superhero to save your secretive father from being kidnapped on an island with missiles flying at you and your family, do you think you would be able to immediately harness your inner power and create a force field large enough to engulf an entire jet within the span of maybe 20 seconds? THAT's why she couldn't do it. There was too much going on at one time. And you saw how hard she was trying along with seeing her brother's terrified face and hearing her mother screaming for her to make this enormous force field and pleading for whoever was trying to kill them to stop. She's a shy girl in the first place. It was nearly impossible for her to do that.
Enchanting Rabbit well with super speed, you can do all sorts of things, dash was probably based on the flash, the the flash has done many amazing things with super speed. The flash can go through solid objects, create tornadoes, time travel, give a thousand punches in under a second, with enough training and experience dash is the most powerful member in the family.

I think it could be one of the family members, just not Dash. I believe it could be Jack-Jack. This is because in the ending scene of the movie Jack-jack looks like he goes crazy and nuts yet goes back to normal when his mom holds him. It looks like he has anger issues. frozone's wife will be the villain. her plot will be to hide the hero's super suits before committing crimes so they can't stop her. after all, the thing a hero has to protect the most is his/her identity!

See... I always felt like Violet was the most powerful. She has two powers. And I'll admit... in the beginning she was rusty but by she learned incredibly (pun intended) fast and seemed to discover cool new talents every few minutes when she actually started using her powers. That's an incredibly steep learning curve. Imagine when she actually tries to master her powers. She couldn't protect a plane in the beginning of the movie... but by the day's end she managed to create a rolling ball forcefield, be the only one to escape the electrical locked prison and protect the house. And her forcefields steadily got larger... and larger... and larger... I don't think it'll be Violet though. I couldn't really picture her as a villain. And I couldn't really picture Dash either. Their character traits are too set and it'd be too much of a betrayal and a grand departure from what we know to be true about them. But there's one Incredible we're forgetting... Jack Jack. We didn't see much of Jack Jack but what little we've seen of him clearly demonstrates that he clearly is, not only potentially the most powerful, but has the highest capacity for villainy. It's even foreshadowed when Syndrome wants to steal him and turn him into a villain. Keep in mind... Jack Jack is a BABY. And he single handedly destroyed Syndrome (albeit indirectly) in under a minute when all the Incredibles working together couldn't do it. And that one scene in which he underwent a multitude of transformations in Syndrome's arms alluded to IMMENSE DESTRUCTIVE POWER and that's only as a baby. And you have to admit... the creatures that he turned into were pretty sinister looking. Not to mention, there's an extended feature that shows Jack Jack's escapades when he was being baby sat and... wow. If that clip doesn't scream budding villain in the making I don't know what does. He in essence uses his powers to create complete and utter mayhem in the household and drive his poor babysitter insane. Besides, just think. Think what a mind twist that would be to see the cute little baby from the first movie serving as the big bad villain in the second. And it's not really a betrayal to the original characters the way that making a beloved member of the Incredibles family would be, because Jack Jack wasn't really in the Incredibles. He doesn't have a set character. We don't know what he's like. We don't know whether he's predisposed for good or evil or kind of walks that line a bit. But it would definitely cause people to go back and watch the original with a new set of eyes, to know that the little baby happily gurgling in the tub would some day be an immense threat to the world... It could even allow some real familial conflict to be inserted into the story line. This is Jack Jack's youthful rebellion. Acting out. His family torn up wondering where they went wrong, because in the hero world your kid becoming a villain can be equated to your kid really messing up. And then at they end they reunite, Jack Jack has a change of heart and joins the side of goodness once more. In the end, it was just a family quarrel... that almost impacted the fate of the world because of their incredible (pun again intended) power.

Violet is an introvert, that's why she struggled with her powers. Like most teenage girls they struggle with confidence, whereas Dash is a kid who thinks he can do anything. (And as we see he does.) That's a great explanation of why Dash appears to be better at his power than Violet is with hers. We also see that once Violet gained her confidence (Once the Parents got their act together) she started using her powers better. When and if the next one comes out, I'm sure we will see Violet as a much stronger hero/villain. #Psychology
I think it is unfair to weigh violet against dash, yes she is older but 1) Dash uses his abilities more than she does giving him more practice 2) Dash's speed only affects him which is easier than affecting matter or making a force field 3) Usually powers are effected by emotional states, so the confident Dash would have it easier using his than the shy insecure violet unless she was just turning invisible, which we in those situations it seems almost automatic

I don't think anyone in the family would be a villain, because I don't believe Pixar would portray betrayal in such a heart crushing manner as having a parent have to fight there own kid. Maybe as a rebel, who has to be turned good again, but not main baddy. Though, if any Jack Jack is a good bet, maybe not internationally, but if his powers stay uncontrollable at least to some degree, he could be manipulated, or angered and turned loose.

Not at all, first off, the theory that they're posting up with Dash is the idea that he's wanting attention from his father which is confusing and I disagree with it totally. No, it's more like the idea, if a jealous boyfriend, is worried about the fact that he's dating a superhero thousands of guys are probably throwing themselves at her. What does he have to compete with! Basically the real reason why everybody has a problem with Superman dating Lois Lane. Because Lex is way too jealous of Superman dating this girl reporter who has no chance of understanding things and keeps getting her captured it way I'm turning this about Lex being love with Superman, sorry is just really obvious that Lex Luther has a thing for Superman. one thing i noticed was you said "trying to create powers causes him to become a super villain!" by that logic iron man is a villain! also if he's her boyfriend now and doesn't want other guys falling for her he would do what she says, so that at least he can show her loyalty, now before you say something about him being insane, it clearly has been shown that he is stable and charming enough to win violets heart, so that's out. good idea, but if they are gonna make a sequel so long after the original, i think pixar would know to make a plot that doesn't involve making their characters so dumb as to not see how their crush truly is, when shes been shown to watch him, at least a little bit. When I first heard of this one word popped into my mind. "CYCLOPS" In the comics, Cy becomes essentially a terrorist, works with magneto and does some pretty insane stuff, starts a team called 'The Extinction Force' and it all comes from a "good" place. The road to hell and all that. He thinks mutants should be treated equally, he finds out the UN all have Sentinels, and there aren't many of his kind left, and the few are forced into hiding from the people they swore to protect... Sounding similar? I'll go on, his mentor always said they should hide who they are and help and not worry about taking credit. His one dream is to live out in the open and have a normal life and see himself and his kind treated fairly, instead of feared and living with a gun to their heads. I think if they introduced a sorta 'Magneto' character who seduces Dash and maybe Violet too, with the hope of freedom and equality then it could be plausible, and family friendly with the whole fitting in/peer pressure/family sorta lessons. Just my two cents.. Dash won't be a villain, just a misguided kid used by someone but he thinks he's doing the right thing.
That'd be pretty cool, since the Superhero Relocation Program just basically told them they couldn't do anything with the powers they were born with. To try and gain those rights back would sort of blur the good/evil business, which I personally find very interesting and the best kind of movie.

I would also like to mention that the comparison to Violet wasn't entirely fair. 1) Violet actually listened to her parents and used her powers as little as possible. Dash constantly used his powers in ways that made it so that he wouldn't get caught. Now while Violet wasn't completely against doing this, being invisible is a lot easier to hide than super speed, so Dash was forced to push himself to his absolute limits if he wanted to act out. Violet doesn't really get as much practice as Dash, so even her being older doesn't necessarily lend itself to better control. 2) Violet's powers seem to have more rules than Dash's. At the moment, Dash can run really fast; the rules around that seem to be nothing more than "put more effort into it, and you will move faster" and Dash didn't seem to grow in strength throughout the entire movie. Violet on the other hand discovered new powers in the movie (referring to the hamster ball scene here). If she studies/practices that, she may gain new powers like levitation or the ability to use her shields to great offensive effect. Not only did she have less practice than Dash as described in point 1, she *requires* more practice than him to get the most out of her powers. 3) Yes, dash can run at 900ft/s which is....oh okay, that's getting kind of close to the speed of sound (1116ft/s). But Violet has some pretty impressive specs on her own powers. Think about it, her shields are so strong that the question of whether or not they could stop a freaking surface to air missile was never called into question; the question was whether or not she could get one big enough to stop three from hitting a very large object at once. She stops bullets from multiple automatic weapons without breaking a sweat. And who knows how freaking heavy that robot must've been, and she still managed to support its entire weight a few times as it was actively trying to smash her (a feat which shattered the asphalt below her). Not to mention these shields appear to be created nearly instantly, so she could probably make Dash completely useless in a direct confrontation. I really don't think we can say Dash is more powerful than violet.
Yeah, but who knows how powerful he really is. He shot a laser that got reflected pretty easily and hit something offscreen, he turned into something reasonably heavy to throw of Syndrome's balance mid-flight, burst into flames that didn't burn Syndrome's gloves off immediately, ripped out some of syndrome's hair, and maybe some other stuff I can't remember from the babysitting short. Nothing super overpowered showed up quite yet from what I remember, but he obviously has potential.
Yeah he was not very overpowered when he was a tiny baby, imagine all of those powers when he had them developed and trained. He would most definitley op. It could be like the human torch, the hulk, the thing, and cyclops all wrapped up into one. Very op.
The theory does make some sense, but the whole point of Violet being weaker was probably due to her nervousness, later on she manages to encase all of her family in a force field and still holds up after a few full body slams from the Omni-bot.. Omni-tron.. I can't remember the name. Also with dashes speed basically blurring him beyond being able to locate visually. Violet can also go invisible, and her super suit allows her entire being (clothes and all) to utterly disappear along with her instead of just her vanishing and clothes remaining. The theory sort of skirts around and looks into a choice selection of points that back it up and doesn't look into the other characters much, focusing far too much on dash and dismissing the others. Particularly Violet in the later on where she has become confident and is able to use her powers with immense use (Omni-treadmill-ballthing example)

Josefin Lindskog still doesn't make her any less powerful, when it's needed she can create relatively large and solid forcefields, not saying she is the next villain, I'm just pointing out a flaw in the theory and my reasoning behind it :P

But the teacher caught him, Also unlike Dash, Violet wanted to be normal and didn't normally rely on her shield powers but more her invisibility because of her low self confidence. I always thought that she panicked on the airplane because she couldn't react to the situation because, unlike their parents , they're not trained to react in such situations.
How could anyone argue that Dash is the most powerful? Violet's force field power is already better than being really fast; when she knocks him down with one near the beginning of the movie, he says "No force fields!" like shes done that when they've fought before and he knows he can't beat it. If they both learned their powers to their full potential, Dash wouldn't be able to touch Violet. Add the fact that she can turn invisible, which is just overkill.
Personally, I'd find it harder to hit a fast moving target than an invisible target ( as long as I saw the target before it went invisible and it didn't move ( too much )). But I agree. I would find it hardest to hit an invincible target.
Can Kari please get her own movie. She was able to survive with Jack Jack with no idea that he was a super. She's like a teenage girl version of Charles Xavier. She can also walk. Kari McKeen's School for Gifted Youngsters

I don't even agree that Dash is the most powerful one in the family... Surely anyone who's seen Jack-Jack Attack should know that Jack-Jack is CLEARLY the most powerful member of the family. Shapeshifting, fire resistance, anti-gravity, phasing, laser eyes, the ability to turn his entire body to metal and therefore make him resistant to things like bullets... How can anyone theorize that Dash would be the villain? If anyone was going to go rogue from The Incredibles family, SURELY it would be the most powerful one, Jack-Jack. Or, failing that, it would be the lesser powerful Violet, though I do think that - especially if a decade or so has passed between the movies - that Violet will have mastered her powers, become a good tactician and would probably be the defacto leader of the Incredible kids, being that she's the oldest and wisest. Her mom would also probably have taught her how to fly planes and the like. I'm betting that the new villain will be an entirely new character, and the movie will focus around Mr. and Mrs. Incredible's final retirement from hero work, leaving Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack to handle things by themselves for the first time. Dash would definitely still probably be a rebel/troublemaker and would have difficulty accepting his sister as a leader, but he would never turn into an outright villain. And Jack-Jack will probably be still pretty young and still having difficulty controlling his powers and fitting in during civilian life, so that causes more problems.

Personally I think that perhaps when a young super hero is well young their powers are unstable and more powerful, this can defiantly be seen with Jack-Jack, and a little bit with dash. Then in the teen years perhaps one's powers decrease (like when violet can't make the force field.) and eventually the powers stabilize in adulthood.
Violet is the villian. She NVR gets attention and if she were to have say a heart break as a emotional hormonal filled teen she could snap and unlock her full potential

I don't think that dash is stronger than violet. He is more rebellious so he obviously practiced his power more as a kid, but violet showed at the begging of the film that she is more than capable of turning herself completely invisible and making a large enough force field that she is completely encased by it and even dash can not break it. She also showed that she could make even bigger force fields to encompass her and dash later in the film. You also forgot Jack Jack. By the end of the film he is the one who finally kills syndrome even though he is still an infant. He can turn into anything he wants and as we saw in Jack Jack Attack, he pretty much has every single super power. He might not be able to make force fields, but he can go through walls, turn into a material heavy enough that rockets couldn't lift him despite his small size, light himself on fire without feeling anything, turn into an incredibly strong demon (because as an infant he is barely crawling but his demon form
Rips off Syndrome's boot and rips out his hair), it appears he can shape shift into whatever he wants and retain that thing's ability, which would include other superheroes. Essentially, Jack Jack is easily the most powerful and he isn't even a toddler yet. When fully grown and fully in charge of his powers I do not think there is anything that could stop him.

Mostly agree with you on the Jack Jack theory. I don't think Dash's "rebelliousness" is enough to turn him evil; on the other hand, what would be the motive for Jack Jack? Also, with Pixar having these time jumps, we also will see Jack Jack older and getting more attention due to the fact that he has a somewhat uncontrollable power. Hence, if we look into psychology, Middle children often feel neglected. That reason could be a factor if Dash becomes evil.

If his powers persist, with all his powers I think it'd make the sequel rather short, he will get control and he is the strongest so he could effectively beat anything, kinda like superman...I think they'll explain it as the older jack jack gets, the more his powers vanish until he has one power and that power alone.. Don't know the science behind it but it'd work to explain away his apex powers
+Sir Lord Chicken The bowling ball was called the Omnidroid, but that is a very good point. The Omnidroid had to drop all it's weight on her to break the shield, and still she kept it strong enough that it didn't crush her and Dash.
Either of the other two Incredible children would make more sense to become the villain over Dash and personally, I hope it's Violet. To start, purple is a common evil color in Disney and Pixar animated movies. Purple and black would make a great style choice for her villain suit. Secondly, I think that her being older but arguably weaker than Dash could lead to the feeling of inferiority or even uselessness in both her home and in the world as a super. Now she has to prove her worth to everyone. She also seems to show fear to use her powers in a large scale, her not being able to make a forcefield to save her and her family's lives when missiles are coming to kill them. If at some point she were pushed or forced to use her powers in a high stress, high stakes situation in anger instead of fear, I think she'd find her powers a lot more (for lack of better word) powerful. Dash, to me, seems like he is more likely to become the Robin to his dad's Batman, but with actual powers. Dash fighting when needed with Mr. Incredible slowly leading to an incredible duo, which would not help my theorized Violet's self esteem. Jack-Jack, on the other hand, is a very unknown variable. Lord knows how strong he's going to become and what his powers will fully be. I feel that if Violet is the villain, Jack-Jack would choose to be reserved with his powers after seeing how they are emotionally affecting his siblings. I think he'd demand plans before action and become the logical head of the family. Leading to him in his adult years to become a mentor to other supers, a Professor X if you will. All I really want to see is Violet going on a violent rampage in the center of the city floating in a forcefield, ripping buildings out of the ground with telekinesis and generally wreaking havok. Then Dash impulsively running in to stop her as soon as he hears and picking a huge super sibling fight. That would ended by Jack-Jack alerting Mr. and Mrs. Incredible who have to almost literally pull them apart like a human sibling fight. I have not put any real thought into Jack-Jack being the villain because I think that Violet would be a much more preferable and logical choice.
He was exhausted from running from the blade copter things, And his athletic future is going to be him not giving it his all, So i wouldn't foresee him training his speed. But then again, and i cant blame crime, as Mr. Incredible snook off to take low crimes, Which means the actual high crimes were either left alone, Kept in secret, or just didnt happen as often. After all, Bomb voyage made a single appearance in the movie. consider this crime gap: Mr.Incredible stops a couple of robberies with frozone, Raises 2 children and is in the middle of raising a 3rd. and he has been doing this until he has been moved to another city. no need to mention his craving for a big crime finally being fulfuilled. Dash wont get to exercise his powers as often either. He will use them, of course, But considering a camera cant track him, He wouldnt really need to try too hard on the occasional robberies he does pursue

The ONLY REASON Violet couldn't put a force field around the plane is because she was PUT ON THE SPOT BY HER MOTHER, had about 10 SECONDS to put an ENTIRE FORCE FIELD AROUND THE 40 FOOT PLANE, (not to mention it was MOVING) and was a PRE-TEEN!!! Its no wonder she couldn't do it! Later in the movie, she puts a HUGE force field around her family while fighting against the guards that have been trained by professionals (Violet had no training) and she does this all AFTER she dodges BULLETS IN WATER!!!!! Dash (being about 2 years younger than Violet) runs across water, draws so much attention to himself that makes a bunch of guards come after him, slaps a guy, and falls again and again only to be saved by VIOLET!!!!! no hate against Dash but his sister is way more powerful than him.
But keep in mind there is quite a big age gap between them so it might be because he is young so we might have to wait till he gets older to evenly match them
4 years difference actually. And what about all the times he saved her? First there was the plane crash where they landed in the middle of the ocean and he was the only reason they made it to shore. Then if he hadn't discovered that the cave they were in was where a rocket was being launched, she would've died there too. And even the time where violet saved him from being shot it was only because the guard was going after HER first before dash came and knocked the guy down and distract him. So I have to disagree.
I dont think it is that Violet isn't as powerful because she couldnt make the forcefield around the plane. At the dinner table she complains about not having powers, and at school we see her turning invisible rather than making force fields. She rejects her powers and uses them to hide all her life while Dash embraces them and tries to improve. That is why Violet is able to break the family out of containment and was able to maintain a bubble around her and Dash later on the island. When she gained more self confidence and started accepting her powers, she got better. We even see her shield the family at the end when the plane crashes on them and destroys the house. The two siblings just started off with different views of their powers, but now that Violet is accepting them instead of rejecting, she has the potential to be stronger.
Not to mention, some people choke under pressure. Not doing her best work when in fear for the lives of herself and her family is hardly a solid indication of power level.
I could see Jack Jack being the big bad. The incredibles is very similar to the fantastic 4. In the fantastic 4 comic, their son does go evil. Many could argue that dash would be that person but Jack Jack's powers are far closer to the son from the fantastic 4. Perhaps with so much power Jack Jack went insane growing up with to much power.
I was just think similarly about him being the villain as I was loading this video. I mean, we only have a small scene revealing his powers and it's mostly in the extras. Other than the few minutes of screen time with his powers, we know nothing about him. He could VERY well go evil for any number of reasons. They can create a story out of mid-air with him since he doesnt even have much of a backstory other than being the youngest child with really good powers.
I know how it might happen too… After years of seeing Mr. Par doing things like lifting cars, he Puts two and two together and figures out Mr. Par is Mr. incredible. He gets envious because that no matter what he can’t do what his idle can do. So basically he becomes a cross between syndrome and parasite.
I disagree with this theory, but, that said, I would like to see how the creators of incredibles whould tackle the subject of Dash becoming a villain. The thing is, if with think about this by the raw power prespective, Dash has already reached his full potential. If they were to make him stronger, they would walk right into the super power accidents territory, and, everyone who has even heard of Flash already knows where this is going. I don't believe that we need another superhero movie that deals with time travel and secret origins, I'm not even sure we would be able to stomach that. I would personaly prefer something new, a topic now usually touched in superhero movies, not yet anyway. Maybe somebody extremely powerfull, another hero maybe, with a serious psychological disorder, going haywire and becomes a huge time bomb of some type and the incredibles have to face their own demons as they realize that brute strength won't solve this problem and that they will have to basically talk him/her down? Well, this may not sound very heroic, or like it wouldn't have enough superhero fights sequences, but, it would be an interesting fresh prespective to superhero films.

Yes, I agree because maybe Dash and Violet will be at the age of maybe 25-30 and Jack-Jack might be in the late teens. This would make him be compulsive and inexperienced but still be very powerful. The compulsiveness would lead to him making a bad choice. Thus that bad choice leads to being a villain.
A while ago I made a little theory. AND DON'T BLOW UP AT ME BECAUSE OF THIS THEORY COMMENT SECTION!! Now, my theory is that Edna is the villain. Why would I think this? Well, if you think about it, there're a couple of things that support this theory. #1: Edna makes ALL (at least from what we can tell) of the super suits. I know this doesn't seem convincing but, we know that she is very skilled in making the stuff, and she could easily install some sort of thing to control the Incredible's suits. #2: She installed a homing device in their super suits. Am I the only one who find this strange? I mean, why install it when _you're_ the only one (at least I think) that has access to the remote that can turn on the tracking. That seems rather suspicious to me. #3: We know that Edna loves to challenge her skills, and what better way to challenge herself than to see if she can make her suits so that she can have total control over her super hero costumers. So, do you guys agree with me? What'd you think about this theory? Could the beloved E be a traitor?

I could see it, though I could see her as the villain who thinks she's doing it for the greater good. Not so much to challenge herself or know what she's doing is wrong, but because she thinks she's in the right. Similar to a powerful government who is harming their citizens while insisting they're keeping everyone safe.

uhmmmm I'm not sure the uploader saw the movie, 1) the reason violet couldn't make a big enough force field in the scene shown is because her emotions were out of whack she was literally told all her life not to use her powers then all of a sudden she's being told to use them, she wasn't in the right state of mind, that's why later on in the movie she's able to better grasp her powers cause she's got ahold of her emotions, 2) The family never said they didn't want jack to get first place, they just didn't want him to do it in a way that seemed unfair to the other kids A.K.A look normal keep a low profile, but still win the race which is exactly what he did and the parents were happy. Actually they said "close second", he did not win. Not that it matters, if he became evil it would be for some reason more likely pertaining to how powerful he is, making things seem less important. That would probably be in a 3rd movie though, id hardly think they set up enough to turn any family member evil. Though my guess is violet has major plot development next movie and becomes evil in number 3.

good theory, first off for Violet she (to me) seemed like a very self doubting emo girl. so with her doubting herself she probably didn't have the confidence to focus and make a large force field to protect the plane. This theory is possible, but my personal theory is that the villain in the next movie might be the child or children of other supers. ones who hate that they have to hide themselves and want to rise up against the Normals.
Also, I just noticed that having the Supers revolt against the Normals sounds a lot like the plot of the X-Men. The normal people hate the mutants and think that they're a danger to society, and some mutants (the villains) hate the normal people for discriminating against them. I know that it won't be exactly the same or anything, but I'm sure Disney wouldn't want to be accused of copying the X-Men and try to be more unique.
Plus, she was under a lot of stress, and I don't think she had ever tried to do something that big, unlike Dash, who continually tried out his powers to their full potential.
Jack-Jack seems to be a more likely villain. He's already much more powerful than anyone in his family and he uses that power to run amok with a baby sitter. True, Pixar made a short in which the girl's memory was erased, so nobody's going to be finding out about his powers anytime soon- but do we really think his family can control him? Nobody can hold him (except maybe Violet), he has the potential to be very destructive and, if the next movie is set in the present day) he'll be a teenager and have all those rebellion hormones.

You forgot to mention the parts where in the car after Helen goes to dash's school he says something along the line of we're special his mom says everyone's special and then he said "if everyone's special then no one is" later in the movie when syndrome is monologuing about his plan he talks about selling of his tech to make everyone supers and then says "When everyone is super no one will be" they have the same kind of mentality and I never really realized it until now.
I like the "Does it hold up" and "Final thoughts" on the theory but the theory itself sounds like nonesense and the points you made for it dont hold up to it, which you said yourself. But I have come across a few points here in your video as well. First one is kinda nitpicking but the rest go directly to your points. Thank you for the video. Case of Camera footage: The camera DID catch him (It was only one frame but it DID catch him. The teacher wouldnt have been able to see it otherwise and wouldnt be able to prove it in the first place) Case of Violett vs Dash: Violett DID use her powers but only a part of it. And that is her ability to become invisible. She never had to use force fields in a normal life and had to do it in a stressfull moment + the fact that she had to make a big forcefield, which she never did before. (Look back at the scene where they all sit to eat. Dash runs around the table and Violett just throws a forcefield in his way casually) Case of Dash wanting to be the best in the end: Dash knows after what has happened that it just isnt possible. Before he wanted to use his powers to become the best (or rebel against his parents as you state). At the end he finally understood why he couldnt. Because it is dangerous. (And unfair in a competition against normal humans, he would still be allowed to use his powers if it would be needed) Case of Dash being young and becoming older in the upcoming movie: Yes he is young. Yes his father gave him good attention when he did something bad. This was at the beginning of the movie. Not at the end.
What if: 1 decade later Violet ran away from home because of a falling out with their parents, with her being more comfortable with herself and using her powers but her parents wanting her to still keep them hidden. Dash misses her and wishes she'd come home and holds resentment against his parents for driving Violet away and still pressuring him not to use his powers. Then the police showed up to their home and tell Dash that Violet died from a drunk driving incident. Dash blames his parents for her death and starts to go over the edge and runs away to become a supervillain who believes that supers should not be oppressed and should show off their powers however they want. In Dash's head, Violet's restless spirit haunts him and guides his actions ultimately to his failure. Dash is put in a mental ward and diagnosed with schizophrenia for his rambling about being able to see his sister's ghost. Jackson, or Jack-Jack, often visits him and asks him what his sister was like before she left and tries to help him regain his sanity, but there's no hope for him.

Flash traveled back in time to save his mother, fracturing the fabric of reality as a result. By doing this he creates this alternate universe/time line where among other things batman is (spoiler alert) not Bruce Wayne but his father Thomas Wayne. Incidentally, is it just me are does it always seem that when superheros go backing time to save a parent, its always the mom.

1) she was under pressure and stressed
2) she was being yelled at to do her force field
3) she was always told not to use her powers

Yeah there are a ton of holes in this guys villain dash story, but there are plenty of other motives for him being the antagonist, like being overshadowed by his experienced and grown up sister and his overpowered baby brother. I could definitely see a rebellious teenager Dash doing villainy for attention and to stand out.
And violet being older doesn't mean more years of practice it means more years of her parents and society making her suppress her powers, and i think she could also be the villain because of being told to suppress her powers

On the comparing of the two, that's not how superpowers work. Violet's powers are based on her emotions. She couldn't make a force field around the plane because she was scared. While Dash's powers are based on his personality. Look at Flash, and Kid Flash. They're powers have never faltered because of their emotions. While the invisible woman's has. You just can't compare two people who have that different of superpowers.
The reason Dash wont be the Villain is because Pixar is focusing on the "family charm" aspect which is seen present in almost all Pixar movies. Dash being a Villain would break the entire point of Incredibles-a family super hero bond.

If you were a teenager who mostly kept to yourself aside from a few friends, and was generally the type to think that your family was hindering you from doing and being what you wanted to do and be, do you think that if you were in a private jet on your first mission as a superhero to save your secretive father from being kidnapped on an island with missiles flying at you and your family, do you think you would be able to immediately harness your inner power and create a force field large enough to engulf an entire jet within the span of maybe 20 seconds? THAT's why she couldn't do it. There was too much going on at one time. And you saw how hard she was trying along with seeing her brother's terrified face and hearing her mother screaming for her to make this enormous force field and pleading for whoever was trying to kill them to stop. She's a shy girl in the first place. It was nearly impossible for her to do that.
Enchanting Rabbit well with super speed, you can do all sorts of things, dash was probably based on the flash, the the flash has done many amazing things with super speed. The flash can go through solid objects, create tornadoes, time travel, give a thousand punches in under a second, with enough training and experience dash is the most powerful member in the family.

I think it could be one of the family members, just not Dash. I believe it could be Jack-Jack. This is because in the ending scene of the movie Jack-jack looks like he goes crazy and nuts yet goes back to normal when his mom holds him. It looks like he has anger issues. See... I always felt like Violet was the most powerful. She has two powers. And I'll admit... in the beginning she was rusty but by she learned incredibly (pun intended) fast and seemed to discover cool new talents every few minutes when she actually started using her powers. That's an incredibly steep learning curve. Imagine when she actually tries to master her powers. She couldn't protect a plane in the beginning of the movie... but by the day's end she managed to create a rolling ball forcefield, be the only one to escape the electrical locked prison and protect the house. And her forcefields steadily got larger... and larger... and larger...
I don't think it'll be Violet though. I couldn't really picture her as a villain. And I couldn't really picture Dash either. Their character traits are too set and it'd be too much of a betrayal and a grand departure from what we know to be true about them.
But there's one Incredible we're forgetting... Jack Jack.
We didn't see much of Jack Jack but what little we've seen of him clearly demonstrates that he clearly is, not only potentially the most powerful, but has the highest capacity for villainy. It's even foreshadowed when Syndrome wants to steal him and turn him into a villain.
Keep in mind... Jack Jack is a BABY. And he single handedly destroyed Syndrome (albeit indirectly) in under a minute when all the Incredibles working together couldn't do it. And that one scene in which he underwent a multitude of transformations in Syndrome's arms alluded to IMMENSE DESTRUCTIVE POWER and that's only as a baby. And you have to admit... the creatures that he turned into were pretty sinister looking.
Not to mention, there's an extended feature that shows Jack Jack's escapades when he was being baby sat and... wow. If that clip doesn't scream budding villain in the making I don't know what does. He in essence uses his powers to create complete and utter mayhem in the household and drive his poor babysitter insane.
Besides, just think. Think what a mind twist that would be to see the cute little baby from the first movie serving as the big bad villain in the second. And it's not really a betrayal to the original characters the way that making a beloved member of the Incredibles family would be, because Jack Jack wasn't really in the Incredibles. He doesn't have a set character. We don't know what he's like. We don't know whether he's predisposed for good or evil or kind of walks that line a bit.
But it would definitely cause people to go back and watch the original with a new set of eyes, to know that the little baby happily gurgling in the tub would some day be an immense threat to the world... It could even allow some real familial conflict to be inserted into the story line. This is Jack Jack's youthful rebellion. Acting out. His family torn up wondering where they went wrong, because in the hero world your kid becoming a villain can be equated to your kid really messing up. And then at they end they reunite, Jack Jack has a change of heart and joins the side of goodness once more. In the end, it was just a family quarrel... that almost impacted the fate of the world because of their incredible (pun again intended) power.

Violet is an introvert, that's why she struggled with her powers. Like most teenage girls they struggle with confidence, whereas Dash is a kid who thinks he can do anything. (And as we see he does.) That's a great explanation of why Dash appears to be better at his power than Violet is with hers. We also see that once Violet gained her confidence (Once the Parents got their act together) she started using her powers better. When and if the next one comes out, I'm sure we will see Violet as a much stronger hero/villain. #Psychology

I think it is unfair to weigh violet against dash, yes she is older but
1) Dash uses his abilities more than she does giving him more practice
2) Dash's speed only affects him which is easier than affecting matter or making a force field
3) Usually powers are effected by emotional states, so the confident Dash would have it easier using his than the shy insecure violet unless she was just turning invisible, which we in those situations it seems almost automatic

I don't think anyone in the family would be a villain, because I don't believe Pixar would portray betrayal in such a heart crushing manner as having a parent have to fight there own kid. Maybe as a rebel, who has to be turned good again, but not main baddy. Though, if any Jack Jack is a good bet, maybe not internationally, but if his powers stay uncontrollable at least to some degree, he could be manipulated, or angered and turned loose.

Not at all, first off, the theory that they're posting up with Dash is the idea that he's wanting attention from his father which is confusing and I disagree with it totally. No, it's more like the idea, if a jealous boyfriend, is worried about the fact that he's dating a superhero thousands of guys are probably throwing themselves at her. What does he have to compete with! Basically the real reason why everybody has a problem with Superman dating Lois Lane. In the comics, Cy becomes essentially a terrorist, works with magneto and does some pretty insane stuff, starts a team called 'The Extinction Force' and it all comes from a "good" place. The road to hell and all that. He thinks mutants should be treated equally, he finds out the UN all have Sentinels, and there aren't many of his kind left, and the few are forced into hiding from the people they swore to protect... Sounding similar?
I'll go on, his mentor always said they should hide who they are and help and not worry about taking credit. His one dream is to live out in the open and have a normal life and see himself and his kind treated fairly, instead of feared and living with a gun to their heads.
I think if they introduced a sorta 'Magneto' character who seduces Dash and maybe Violet too, with the hope of freedom and equality then it could be plausible, and family friendly with the whole fitting in/peer pressure/family sorta lessons.
Just my two cents.. Dash won't be a villain, just a misguided kid used by someone but he thinks he's doing the right thing.
P.s. I don't think so and hope not, this is just my thoughts on how it could potentially work. I want the whole family to be heroes lol

That'd be pretty cool, since the Superhero Relocation Program just basically told them they couldn't do anything with the powers they were born with. To try and gain those rights back would sort of blur the good/evil business, which I personally find very interesting and the best kind of movie.

I would also like to mention that the comparison to Violet wasn't entirely fair.
1) Violet actually listened to her parents and used her powers as little as possible. Dash constantly used his powers in ways that made it so that he wouldn't get caught. Now while Violet wasn't completely against doing this, being invisible is a lot easier to hide than super speed, so Dash was forced to push himself to his absolute limits if he wanted to act out. Violet doesn't really get as much practice as Dash, so even her being older doesn't necessarily lend itself to better control.
2) Violet's powers seem to have more rules than Dash's. At the moment, Dash can run really fast; the rules around that seem to be nothing more than "put more effort into it, and you will move faster" and Dash didn't seem to grow in strength throughout the entire movie. Violet on the other hand discovered new powers in the movie (referring to the hamster ball scene here). If she studies/practices that, she may gain new powers like levitation or the ability to use her shields to great offensive effect. Not only did she have less practice than Dash as described in point 1, she *requires* more practice than him to get the most out of her powers.
3) Yes, dash can run at 900ft/s which is....oh okay, that's getting kind of close to the speed of sound (1116ft/s). But Violet has some pretty impressive specs on her own powers. Think about it, her shields are so strong that the question of whether or not they could stop a freaking surface to air missile was never called into question; the question was whether or not she could get one big enough to stop three from hitting a very large object at once. She stops bullets from multiple automatic weapons without breaking a sweat. And who knows how freaking heavy that robot must've been, and she still managed to support its entire weight a few times as it was actively trying to smash her (a feat which shattered the asphalt below her). Not to mention these shields appear to be created nearly instantly, so she could probably make Dash completely useless in a direct confrontation. I really don't think we can say Dash is more powerful than violet.

Yeah, but who knows how powerful he really is. He shot a laser that got reflected pretty easily and hit something offscreen, he turned into something reasonably heavy to throw of Syndrome's balance mid-flight, burst into flames that didn't burn Syndrome's gloves off immediately, ripped out some of syndrome's hair, and maybe some other stuff I can't remember from the babysitting short. Nothing super overpowered showed up quite yet from what I remember, but he obviously has potential.

Yeah he was not very overpowered when he was a tiny baby, imagine all of those powers when he had them developed and trained. He would most definitley op. It could be like the human torch, the hulk, the thing, and cyclops all wrapped up into one. Very op.
The theory does make some sense, but the whole point of Violet being weaker was probably due to her nervousness, later on she manages to encase all of her family in a force field and still holds up after a few full body slams from the Omni-bot.. Omni-tron.. I can't remember the name.
Also with dashes speed basically blurring him beyond being able to locate visually.
Violet can also go invisible, and her super suit allows her entire being (clothes and all) to utterly disappear along with her instead of just her vanishing and clothes remaining.
The theory sort of skirts around and looks into a choice selection of points that back it up and doesn't look into the other characters much, focusing far too much on dash and dismissing the others. Particularly Violet in the later on where she has become confident and is able to use her powers with immense use (Omni-treadmill-ballthing example)

Also unlike Dash, Violet wanted to be normal and didn't normally rely on her shield powers but more her invisibility because of her low self confidence. I always thought that she panicked on the airplane because she couldn't react to the situation because, unlike their parents , they're not trained to react in such situations.

How could anyone argue that Dash is the most powerful? Violet's force field power is already better than being really fast; when she knocks him down with one near the beginning of the movie, he says "No force fields!" like shes done that when they've fought before and he knows he can't beat it. If they both learned their powers to their full potential, Dash wouldn't be able to touch Violet. Add the fact that she can turn invisible, which is just overkill.
Personally, I'd find it harder to hit a fast moving target than an invisible target ( as long as I saw the target before it went invisible and it didn't move ( too much )). But I agree. I would find it hardest to hit an invincible target.

I don't even agree that Dash is the most powerful one in the family... Surely anyone who's seen Jack-Jack Attack should know that Jack-Jack is CLEARLY the most powerful member of the family. Shapeshifting, fire resistance, anti-gravity, phasing, laser eyes, the ability to turn his entire body to metal and therefore make him resistant to things like bullets... How can anyone theorize that Dash would be the villain? If anyone was going to go rogue from The Incredibles family, SURELY it would be the most powerful one, Jack-Jack. Or, failing that, it would be the lesser powerful Violet, though I do think that - especially if a decade or so has passed between the movies - that Violet will have mastered her powers, become a good tactician and would probably be the defacto leader of the Incredible kids, being that she's the oldest and wisest. Her mom would also probably have taught her how to fly planes and the like.
I'm betting that the new villain will be an entirely new character, and the movie will focus around Mr. and Mrs. Incredible's final retirement from hero work, leaving Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack to handle things by themselves for the first time. Dash would definitely still probably be a rebel/troublemaker and would have difficulty accepting his sister as a leader, but he would never turn into an outright villain. And Jack-Jack will probably be still pretty young and still having difficulty controlling his powers and fitting in during civilian life, so that causes more problems.

Personally I think that perhaps when a young super hero is well young their powers are unstable and more powerful, this can defiantly be seen with Jack-Jack, and a little bit with dash. Then in the teen years perhaps one's powers decrease (like when violet can't make the force field.) and eventually the powers stabilize in adulthood.

He is more rebellious so he obviously practiced his power more as a kid, but violet showed at the begging of the film that she is more than capable of turning herself completely invisible and making a large enough force field that she is completely encased by it and even dash can not break it. She also showed that she could make even bigger force fields to encompass her and dash later in the film. You also forgot Jack Jack. By the end of the film he is the one who finally kills syndrome even though he is still an infant. He can turn into anything he wants and as we saw in Jack Jack Attack, he pretty much has every single super power. Mostly agree with you on the Jack Jack theory. I don't think Dash's "rebelliousness" is enough to turn him evil; on the other hand, what would be the motive for Jack Jack? Also, with Pixar having these time jumps, we also will see Jack Jack older and getting more attention due to the fact that he has a somewhat uncontrollable power. Hence, if we look into psychology, Middle children often feel neglected. That reason could be a factor if Dash becomes evil.

Either of the other two Incredible children would make more sense to become the villain over Dash and personally, I hope it's Violet. To start, purple is a common evil color in Disney and Pixar animated movies. Purple and black would make a great style choice for her villain suit. Secondly, I think that her being older but arguably weaker than Dash could lead to the feeling of inferiority or even uselessness in both her home and in the world as a super. Now she has to prove her worth to everyone. She also seems to show fear to use her powers in a large scale, her not being able to make a forcefield to save her and her family's lives when missiles are coming to kill them. If at some point she were pushed or forced to use her powers in a high stress, high stakes situation in anger instead of fear, I think she'd find her powers a lot more (for lack of better word) powerful. Dash, to me, seems like he is more likely to become the Robin to his dad's Batman, but with actual powers. Dash fighting when needed with Mr. Incredible slowly leading to an incredible duo, which would not help my theorized Violet's self esteem. Jack-Jack, on the other hand, is a very unknown variable. Lord knows how strong he's going to become and what his powers will fully be. I feel that if Violet is the villain, Jack-Jack would choose to be reserved with his powers after seeing how they are emotionally affecting his siblings. I think he'd demand plans before action and become the logical head of the family. Leading to him in his adult years to become a mentor to other supers, a Professor X if you will. All I really want to see is Violet going on a violent rampage in the center of the city floating in a forcefield, ripping buildings out of the ground with telekinesis and generally wreaking havok. Then Dash impulsively running in to stop her as soon as he hears and picking a huge super sibling fight. That would ended by Jack-Jack alerting Mr. and Mrs. Incredible who have to almost literally pull them apart like a human sibling fight.
I have not put any real thought into Jack-Jack being the villain because I think that Violet would be a much more preferable and logical choice.

consider this crime gap: Mr.Incredible stops a couple of robberies with frozone, Raises 2 children and is in the middle of raising a 3rd. and he has been doing this until he has been moved to another city. no need to mention his craving for a big crime finally being fulfuilled. Dash wont get to exercise his powers as often either. He will use them, of course, But considering a camera cant track him, He wouldnt really need to try too hard on the occasional robberies he does pursue

He is. As you can see in DC comics, Flash is seen by cameras and can go back in time without being at Dash's speed. So there's no way he can't do it.
The ONLY REASON Violet couldn't put a force field around the plane is because she was PUT ON THE SPOT BY HER MOTHER, had about 10 SECONDS to put an ENTIRE FORCE FIELD AROUND THE 40 FOOT PLANE, (not to mention it was MOVING) and was a PRE-TEEN!!! Its no wonder she couldn't do it! Later in the movie, she puts a HUGE force field around her family while fighting against the guards that have been trained by professionals (Violet had no training) and she does this all AFTER she dodges BULLETS IN WATER!!!!! Dash (being about 2 years younger than Violet) runs across water, draws so much attention to himself that makes a bunch of guards come after him, slaps a guy, and falls again and again only to be saved by VIOLET!!!!! no hate against Dash but his sister is way more powerful than him.
But keep in mind there is quite a big age gap between them so it might be because he is young so we might have to wait till he gets older to evenly match them

4 years difference actually. And what about all the times he saved her? First there was the plane crash where they landed in the middle of the ocean and he was the only reason they made it to shore. Then if he hadn't discovered that the cave they were in was where a rocket was being launched, she would've died there too. And even the time where violet saved him from being shot it was only because the guard was going after HER first before dash came and knocked the guy down and distract him. So I have to disagree.
I dont think it is that Violet isn't as powerful because she couldnt make the forcefield around the plane. At the dinner table she complains about not having powers, and at school we see her turning invisible rather than making force fields. She rejects her powers and uses them to hide all her life while Dash embraces them and tries to improve. That is why Violet is able to break the family out of containment and was able to maintain a bubble around her and Dash later on the island. When she gained more self confidence and started accepting her powers, she got better. We even see her shield the family at the end when the plane crashes on them and destroys the house. The two siblings just started off with different views of their powers, but now that Violet is accepting them instead of rejecting, she has the potential to be stronger.
Not to mention, some people choke under pressure. Not doing her best work when in fear for the lives of herself and her family is hardly a solid indication of power level.

I could see Jack Jack being the big bad. The incredibles is very similar to the fantastic 4. In the fantastic 4 comic, their son does go evil. Many could argue that dash would be that person but Jack Jack's powers are far closer to the son from the fantastic 4. Perhaps with so much power Jack Jack went insane growing up with to much power.

I was just think similarly about him being the villain as I was loading this video. I mean, we only have a small scene revealing his powers and it's mostly in the extras. Other than the few minutes of screen time with his powers, we know nothing about him. He could VERY well go evil for any number of reasons. They can create a story out of mid-air with him since he doesnt even have much of a backstory other than being the youngest child with really good powers.

I disagree with this theory, but, that said, I would like to see how the creators of incredibles whould tackle the subject of Dash becoming a villain.
The thing is, if with think about this by the raw power prespective, Dash has already reached his full potential. If they were to make him stronger, they would walk right into the super power accidents territory, and, everyone who has even heard of Flash already knows where this is going. I don't believe that we need another superhero movie that deals with time travel and secret origins, I'm not even sure we would be able to stomach that.
I would personaly prefer something new, a topic now usually touched in superhero movies, not yet anyway. Maybe somebody extremely powerfull, another hero maybe, with a serious psychological disorder, going haywire and becomes a huge time bomb of some type and the incredibles have to face their own demons as they realize that brute strength won't solve this problem and that they will have to basically talk him/her down? Well, this may not sound very heroic, or like it wouldn't have enough superhero fights sequences, but, it would be an interesting fresh prespective to superhero films.

Yes, I agree because maybe Dash and Violet will be at the age of maybe 25-30 and Jack-Jack might be in the late teens. This would make him be compulsive and inexperienced but still be very powerful. The compulsiveness would lead to him making a bad choice. Thus that bad choice leads to being a villain.

A while ago I made a little theory. AND DON'T BLOW UP AT ME BECAUSE OF THIS THEORY COMMENT SECTION!!
Now, my theory is that Edna is the villain. Why would I think this? Well, if you think about it, there're a couple of things that support this theory.
#1:
Edna makes ALL (at least from what we can tell) of the super suits. I know this doesn't seem convincing but, we know that she is very skilled in making the stuff, and she could easily install some sort of thing to control the Incredible's suits.
#2:
She installed a homing device in their super suits. Am I the only one who find this strange? I mean, why install it when _you're_ the only one (at least I think) that has access to the remote that can turn on the tracking. That seems rather suspicious to me.
#3:
We know that Edna loves to challenge her skills, and what better way to challenge herself than to see if she can make her suits so that she can have total control over her super hero costumers.
So, do you guys agree with me? What'd you think about this theory? Could the beloved E be a traitor?

I could see it, though I could see her as the villain who thinks she's doing it for the greater good. Not so much to challenge herself or know what she's doing is wrong, but because she thinks she's in the right. Similar to a powerful government who is harming their citizens while insisting they're keeping everyone safe.

uhmmmm I'm not sure the uploader saw the movie, 1) the reason violet couldn't make a big enough force field in the scene shown is because her emotions were out of whack she was literally told all her life not to use her powers then all of a sudden she's being told to use them, she wasn't in the right state of mind, that's why later on in the movie she's able to better grasp her powers cause she's got ahold of her emotions,
2) The family never said they didn't want jack to get first place, they just didn't want him to do it in a way that seemed unfair to the other kids A.K.A look normal keep a low profile, but still win the race which is exactly what he did and the parents were happy.
Now I'm not throwing shots at you, so the fanboys please don't attack me, I'm just correcting a few points you've made.
Actually they said "close second", he did not win. Not that it matters, if he became evil it would be for some reason more likely pertaining to how powerful he is, making things seem less important.
That would probably be in a 3rd movie though, id hardly think they set up enough to turn any family member evil.

good theory, first off for Violet she (to me) seemed like a very self doubting emo girl. so with her doubting herself she probably didn't have the confidence to focus and make a large force field to protect the plane.
This theory is possible, but my personal theory is that the villain in the next movie might be the child or children of other supers. ones who hate that they have to hide themselves and want to rise up against the Normals.

Also, I just noticed that having the Supers revolt against the Normals sounds a lot like the plot of the X-Men. The normal people hate the mutants and think that they're a danger to society, and some mutants (the villains) hate the normal people for discriminating against them. I know that it won't be exactly the same or anything, but I'm sure Disney wouldn't want to be accused of copying the X-Men and try to be more unique.
Plus, she was under a lot of stress, and I don't think she had ever tried to do something that big, unlike Dash, who continually tried out his powers to their full potential.
Jack-Jack seems to be a more likely villain. He's already much more powerful than anyone in his family and he uses that power to run amok with a baby sitter. True, Pixar made a short in which the girl's memory was erased, so nobody's going to be finding out about his powers anytime soon- but do we really think his family can control him?
Nobody can hold him (except maybe Violet), he has the potential to be very destructive and, if the next movie is set in the present day) he'll be a teenager and have all those rebellion hormones.

You forgot to mention the parts where in the car after Helen goes to dash's school he says something along the line of we're special his mom says everyone's special and then he said "if everyone's special then no one is" later in the movie when syndrome is monologuing about his plan he talks about selling of his tech to make everyone supers and then says "When everyone is super no one will be" they have the same kind of mentality and I never really realized it until now.
I like the "Does it hold up" and "Final thoughts" on the theory but the theory itself sounds like nonesense and the points you made for it dont hold up to it, which you said yourself.

Case of Camera footage: The camera DID catch him (It was only one frame but it DID catch him. The teacher wouldnt have been able to see it otherwise and wouldnt be able to prove it in the first place)
Case of Violett vs Dash: Violett DID use her powers but only a part of it. And that is her ability to become invisible. She never had to use force fields in a normal life and had to do it in a stressfull moment + the fact that she had to make a big forcefield, which she never did before. (Look back at the scene where they all sit to eat. Dash runs around the table and Violett just throws a forcefield in his way casually)
Case of Dash wanting to be the best in the end: Dash knows after what has happened that it just isnt possible. Before he wanted to use his powers to become the best (or rebel against his parents as you state). At the end he finally understood why he couldnt. Because it is dangerous. (And unfair in a competition against normal humans, he would still be allowed to use his powers if it would be needed)
Case of Dash being young and becoming older in the upcoming movie: Yes he is young. Yes his father gave him good attention when he did something bad. This was at the beginning of the movie. Not at the end.

What if: 1 decade later
Violet ran away from home because of a falling out with their parents, with her being more comfortable with herself and using her powers but her parents wanting her to still keep them hidden. Dash misses her and wishes she'd come home and holds resentment against his parents for driving Violet away and still pressuring him not to use his powers. Then the police showed up to their home and tell Dash that Violet died from a drunk driving incident. Dash blames his parents for her death and starts to go over the edge and runs away to become a supervillain who believes that supers should not be oppressed and should show off their powers however they want. In Dash's head, Violet's restless spirit haunts him and guides his actions ultimately to his failure. Dash is put in a mental ward and diagnosed with schizophrenia for his rambling about being able to see his sister's ghost. Jackson, or Jack-Jack, often visits him and asks him what his sister was like before she left and tries to help him regain his sanity, but there's no hope for him.

Your both right, it's the butterfly effect. Basically The butterfly effect is the concept that small causes can have large effects. Flash traveled back in time to save his mother, fracturing the fabric of reality as a result. By doing this he creates this alternate universe/time line where among other things batman is (spoiler alert) not Bruce Wayne but his father Thomas Wayne.
Incidentally, is it just me are does it always seem that when superheros go backing time to save a parent, its always the mom.
