Some people refuse their babies to stay in the NICU, but then when they leave AMA, they get CPS called on them. But it's usually the mother's choice to leave AMA with her baby.
Recently they put alarms on the baby's ankle, so they can't leave without the mother

@@Jacayrie from what was explained to me when I had my kid in 2022 its part of the COVID restrictions. Each family was assigned a case worker if their kid was in the NICU. I think it had to do with the low visitation restrictions.

That makes no sense your daughter was a preemie that means she needed to be in the NICU she could have died if she was taken from the hospital less than 24 hours after birth and it's illegal to take a newborn infant from a hospital less than three days after they've been born so your husband should be in prison

The fact that a preemie is born doesn’t automatically mean a stay in NICU. I have sibling that was preemie that didn’t have to go to NICU she was born at 34 weeks and was in normal weight and no complications unlike the youngest when he was born at only 25 weeks. Also usually what would have happened that since he’s the father the only thing they could have been able to do was call CPS when the infant was taken out the hospital AMA. EDIT: if this happened outside the US we have no clue how this is handled elsewhere.

And he starting pressuring OP to sign release forms as she’s been on bed rest she could be in critical condition. That’s illegal tho, it’s kidnapping! OP deserved full custody as OP was pregnant and in hospital bed rest whilst he was….. with his cousin! Well no wonder they took the baby as if they had one it would be very…. Special!
