@@lordsathariel4384 "babysitting a 16 year old" doesn't even happen in this story. People have misunderstood because they were half-listening and their minds grabbed onto the only numbers presented. The 16 and 13 year-olds are not the ones being babysat, they are the second- and third-oldest of a five-kid sibling group (and eventually got the babysitting dumped on them when OP proved he's willing to call the cops). Also, I don’t understand how the dad thought it was op’s fault the mum slipped and lost the baby because he wasn’t living with them. _She slipped,_ how was op being present in the house going to help? Plus she was the one who overslept while having a nap before a doctor’s appointment. Either set an alarm so you don’t oversleep when you know you have an appointment, or if you’re a heavy sleeper and would sleep through an alarm, make sure someone can wake you at the right time or just _don’t have a nap when you need to be somewhere at a specific time._

The parents want to transfer their parenting responsibility on their son. Wow woo! When do they stop making babies that they can't look after. Beating up a parent shouldn't happen though. The younger siblings have poor role models unfortunately.

I will never understand people who believe in getting their wife pregnant or letting their husband get them pregnant, raising the first child up alone until that child is old enough to help ie. raise the rest of their siblings.
They believe they are actual parents and deserve to be respected as a man or woman of the house, instead of as people who roll around making the babies.
While barely making enough money to house and feed the children, they treat their older children as indentured servants, making them work and take their money.
It is heartbreaking to discover how many parents exploit their children, for time money, and or labor while insisting they are inferior and have no right to speak up for themselves.
They are grown enough to work and carry adult responsibilities yet never deserve respect as children or adults.
In my humble opinion, parents like this are hypocritical and want the title without the actual responsibilities.

@@user-mh9kv6bo4w He said that he had 4 siblings. Two were dropped of, so I am figuring that it was the youngest two.

Time to block their numbers (or get a new number) and move without leaving a forwarding address. Nobody needs this kind of drama.

How long are these parents working since they need a 13 and 16 year old to be taken care of?

If your mom can't leave 2 teens home, she and your father truly failed as parents. You should go no contact. Your parents are crazy!

I would say @#$* it and move out of state and drop everyone's number, permanently. Having a baby at that age is NOT a good idea.

How is this man working 6 day weeks yet magically he's home every time someone arrives at his apartment, always has time for extensively long phone calls out of the blue and is apparently permanently walking around in steel toecap boots.
At no point in this story do any of the other 4 siblings some of who are all teens or close to being adults say nothing or not intervene in any way? But just call him a boss because he kicked their dad in the balls at dinner?
Do people expect others to believe this stuff?

the siblings can leave at 18 they don't have to wait till 19 in most cases I think there's only like two states that make you wait till 19 Alabama and Nebraska

If OP moves try getting a 2-3 bdr. This way your siblings can stay with you at 18 until they can make it on their own
