its hard to beat spinner fishing in streams for trout. there are a lot of good ones on the market but I've been a Panther Martin guy since I was a kid. I tend to fish them quartering upstream and across, he had a lot of success straight upstream
Let your go-pro dry out for a few weeks, put it on a rad or something where it will get a lot of air blowing in and around it and shake water out of it. I left my Sony MP3 player outside in the pouring rain and did what I said and when it was dry, I charged it up and it still works today. Nice trout and video.
Trout are so beautiful and such nice Colors especially the ones you caught beautiful 🤩 and nice scenery as a TH-camr I struggle to capture the nature side I am a kid and still learning though and doing my best and tightlines🎣
Did that water have lots potential snags in it? It seems that your drag was too tight. Run them fish til they get tired. Good job, and this is one of my favorite channels. Fish on!!
I’ve noticed that rainbows tend to be the ones that jump when hooked, and browns like to dive or dart. I thought it was hung on a rock a few days ago and it was a big brown diving (making me think he was actually bigger - like you in this video towards the end). I guess it’s their natural reaction.

I fish on a couple of the same creeks you do. It's awesome in West Virginia. You should take local subscribers with you to like the Route 9 Bridge or some of the other nicer spots.

Thanks man! I will try. You just lay the spool down on the floor and reel the line off it. If your spinning reel spins clockwise, the line needs to come off the spool counter-clockwise.
Another great day! Awesome catches! My reel rats nested hard this morning, even with the barrel swivel, just as the bite took off. Do you ever carry a spare reel in your pack? I think I might start, it was a bummer to bounce as the fish started poppin’ off lol.
@@FishHawk 6 pound p-line flouro, same one you use. I put it on with a Berkeley spooler, the kind that fits on your rod, maybe I’m putting on too tight or loose?
@@scottbeauchamp5488 I think you might be lining your reel incorrectly. If you're spooling a spinning reel, you lay the spool of line on the floor. The line should come off the spool in a clockwise direction (if your spinning reel spins clockwise) Most spinning reels do rotate clockwise, so the line coming off the spool of line should come off clockwise. Hope that helps! I haven't had any issues with birds nests
@@FishHawk okay, I had been doing it that way and never had an issue either. My wife bought me this spooler thing so I gave it a go the last few times. I had some doubts about it but when your wife does something to support your fishing you best give it a try lol. Thanks dude.
@@FishHawk I suggest you try the Nasci if you are a Shimano guy, they are a budget friendly reel that is has a lot of features for a reel at it's price point!
