Gorgeous fish my friend 🙂👍....and plz, don't EVER apologize for making a long fishin vid😁...these are PERFECT with my morning coffee ☕🙂👍....keep em comin bro🙂👍
You’re the first person to comment the amount of trout I caught. 4 didn’t make the video. So I caught about 23 that day. Thanks for counting cause I forgot to lol
Hi from your friends in Scotland. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again Fish Hawk. You sir are a fantastic fisherman. Your spinning technique is phenomenal! It’s no fluke you caught so many fish. Great viewing. Thanks.
We're only still watching this video because you're the best guy on TH-cam who catches awesome trout. Aslong as you keep catching, we keep watching haha.
The Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, and he was buried, and he rose again the third day, and he is offering everlasting life to all who will believe in him.
This is the best trout fishing video on TH-cam. I can’t believe how many trout are in one spot. Love the looks of the rod and will definitely need one when available.
Love your videos man! I’m inspired to go river trout fishing more and more after I watch them. Going fishing tomorrow probably. Thank you for the great content!
Wonderful footage from Mr. Hawk as always! Also I witnessed a winter steelhead run on the river today, it was wild. Thousands of them chomping through everything in their path. One of the most glorious experiences I've had fishing/hiking to date. They even did they thing where they hop outtta the water to snap the bugs hovering over.
Another great video Hawk! Great fishing and great scenery. The idiot who gave a thumbs down needs to stay off the channel and go back to knitting socks.
Rainbow Trout are kind of a pain... to ensure they stay healthy you can't have them out of the water for more than 15 seconds (otherwise their gills are damaged). Sure do taste good though!
I have both gold and silver. I just prefer gold for wild brown trout. They seem to like it better. Or maybe I'm just more confident in it. Who knows lol
@@FishHawk I think that alot of people get confused about this. I often wonder about it. I always thought silver for dirty water and gold for clear. Since I live in the south the water is never crystal clear here so I use silver. I can afford only one that's why I asked. That would be a great topic for alot of people. I asked many people and they say it's what they like. I thought it depends water on water clarity but I don't know for sure. Thanks for responding.
@@christopherbennett4559 some people do base it off of water clarity and the sky/sun/clouds. But a lot of times I just go with what I'm confident in. If silver isn't working well, I switch to gold. If gold isn't working I switch to silver and then just stay with whichever one is working.
What do you do if a small trout swallows your hook? Like it's much too small to keep but more than likely won't survive? I've heard some people say you can just cut the the line and leave the hook if it's not bleeding super bad ? Would like to get an experienced anglers take on it
You guys need to keep your fish cause if it is not a bigger fish it can send it into shock and will be doing the same thing your doing when you kill it and eat it and even bigger fish it can effect it can cause decoloration which can cause it to move slower and can cause a shorter life spand
Another awesome video man. Wish I had your weather! Your videos could be longer in my opinion, great editing, good music, quality tips, & not obnoxious like many fishing channels. You still didn't mention anything about the new rod yet tho! Oh btw, is that a Colorado blade & what size treble do you use? Already looking forward to the next one bud. Have a good weekend.
Thanks man! The rod is a custom Fish Hawk rod which will be for sale in the future. It is a colorado blade and the treble hook is size 8. Have a great weekend!
Killer! You caught a couple of brown trout that would have been great for a catch and cook - with a couple of them you could have fed half of WV!!! Great location & great job catching them! Thanks for sharing with us.
Where is this? Based on his accent, assuming he's fishing local, it sounds like he's south of me... I'm in MD.. I can't believe how many he's catching.. The only place I've been able to catch trout like this.. and I do understand it's edited ... is in C&R places or right after a stocking.
Elk River north east of Charleston is a great place I'm originally from Hamlin southeast of you when I'm up there I fish for Musky in Mud River though or Trout on the Elk River
I love the long videos, it keeps me from having to look for something else to watch. 😂 But I do have a question, I'm just getting into trout fishing and I'm learning a lot, thank you for that, but it seems like everyone is more excited when they catch a brown over a rainbow... why is that? Or am I imagining things?
OMG bro! 😱 Absolutely phenomenal outing, you smashed em out of there, those were some gorgeous rainbows as well, but them browns we Thicccc! 💯 Another banger, look forward to the next one as always! Tight lines and keep on smashin em! 👊🎣💦
Just gotta find yourself a nice brook or stream with some wide open spots where the water calms; ideally a spot after a small drop/waterfall. Almost always a ton of em in spots like that!
Super video, beautiful fish and a great place 👍

Some one caught 4 to 6 pound rainbow trout. The brown trout have to be 20 inches to keep In Tennessee.

go lighter for sure.
I use a 8 lb test fluoro line on a light action 6 foot rod
