Very nice! I noticed you weren't using coolant. For what it's worth, always use some sort of coolant when you're cutting aluminum. The buildup of heat will damage the endmill eventually, and it can mess with the metal of your part.
@@DieselsandDirtbags Cool. (pun intended). I was going to make similar comment, but you know what you are doing and I figgured that not using it was for vidjya purposes. I see so many people who don't use proper cutting fluids and not just for vid. I have a ton of good bits that I've gotten for free. Mostly drill bits. I have a whole pile next to a bench grinder and just siit down and sharpen a few at a time. It's one of the skills I was shown when I was a wee lad. Thanks gramps!

In general what would say repeatability tolerance is like for the pm-25mv?
i have a pm-25mv too, i convert it to cnc, it could of taking a lot heaver cut but the way it was hanging out of the vise it had no support

my pm-25mv is petty tight I'm using ball screws! i converted of to cnc easy to do i can repeat within .001 @@sto2779
