    Great video! For me it would be very useful to see all edited notes in the calendar for a date, not only new notebooks.

      It used to show by last access date, but was changed to creation date. When it was by access date, the issue was that you could never keep track of when you opened what. I keep hoping they will show the files on both dates.

    This looks a great feature, I must start using the calendar!

    I have an A5x and a Boox Note Air 4c. I prefer the 4c but this is one of the areas that Supernote wins outright. It's great to be able to capture tasks whilst in a meeting, giving you the confidence that nothing is going to be missed

      Yeah, this is a huge win for Supernote. I never thought I would use their app because I use Google Tasks but it is just so handy.

    Looks good, the only thing that I'd need to resolve is when I make a 'New Note' for a meeting, where I would store it and in what structure. Often, you just need a _'disposable note',_ something that will be irrelevant once the meeting is finished and as most, I fear clutter. I have a very good structure for study, it took a while to get there but I got there in the end... however, when it comes to controlling certain projects I'm all over the place and if there is one thing that annoys me its not being able to locate documents and papers fast, so when it comes to projects, I'm just not there yet.
    Thanks for the video, it has given me plenty to ponder.

      For me it depends on if you want to access your notes by date or by project/meeting. If it's by date it's easy as you can just use the calendar. I prefer to do it by project/meeting so I have a work folder with sub folders 'work' and 'projects' within those folders I have a singe note for each project or meeting. within these notes I make the date a title - allowing you to do a global search on the date if required.
      Work and project subfolders have a folder within them - 'supporting documents'. Here I store any images, pdf's, excel files etc. I can then crate a link to the relevant file(s) from within the relevant note.
      You can then create a link to the 'work' folder on the quick access menu. Makes it easy, one swipe down for the quick access menu, selects the work folder and then find the note that you want

      @@nbamford03 Appreciated, I'll see if I can incorporate it on one of my projects.

      Thanks for the comment. I have some more in depth videos on this. If they are in the moment notes, I just try to create them in the root and discipline myself to rename and move them. If I know I will want to reference them later, I take the time to create them in the file structure. More important for me is real time recognition so I can search and using Headings for if I combine small notes later.

      This is a great workflow. I try my best to do both. For me, I can usually find the time to navigate to where I need a note to be and create the shell early the same day as project meetings. Once I do that, everything is easily accessible through the calendar or file structure.

      Thanks for the comment and question. This particular video was recorded using the A5X. However, the software on all Supernote devices is the same and the functions are only limited by the physical device (dual slider or size).

    Great video! I did have a couple of questions that came to mind while I was watching:
    1. Can you create subtasks of tasks in the to-do list view?
    2. Can you cross off the days (or otherwise write) on the calendar? Or does it only contain the digitally added events?
    Thank you!

    • @Change-1820
      @Change-1820  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@michaellynch9405 Thanks for the compliment and questions. Unfortunately, you cannot create sub tasks currently. However if you wanted, you could create a task page and treat the heading as an overall task, then use the task template for sub tasks, or even a different task on each page of a notebook.
      You can write. On the calendar monthly and weekly views, but not currently the daily view. Ratta does have that on the roadmap though. Thanks again for the comment.

    A missing workflow feature that just seems so obvious to me as someone who’s work day is many back to back meetings that are in my calendar (Yes I know you aren’t Supernote, but I just wanted to vent or get decent idea for a workaround):
    Why can’t I go to the meeting in the calendar and QUICKLY create a new note based on a template that follows a name that’s easily associated with the meeting itself?
    Would be so much easier and less friction having to set this up.
    Instead, now I just have one MONOLITHIC note that just has hand written titles for each meeting.

    • @Change-1820
      @Change-1820  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No worries, vent away. I have wanted this for a while. I don't do the monolithic note though. Instead, I Create the note with the meeting name and date wherever I want it to live in my files on the morning or the meeting. It's a little prep work that takes some of the friction away. Thanks for the comment.
