As a guitar player, Midori's solo in this (and in general) gives me the same joy I get from listening to Marty Friedman; she has a style that stands out from the crowd. Then she gets an amazing partner in Miyako, and they just complement each other so well. Tight, powerful drumming, some growling bass bridging the drums and guitars, and the vocals are just the cherry on top. #livingthedream I don't know that Shadowmaker is my favorite Lovebites song, it's definitely top 5, no, top 3, top2, it's just /chef's kiss NOMNOMNOM

Every LOVEBITES video has always been very well done, and by and large, very uncomplicated. You’re presumably not old enough to remember when rock bands had singers and not escapees from Twycross. Asami is the perfect metal vocalist. Watch anything with Ronnie James Dio singing and you’ll see what I mean. “Poppy” indeed. Tut tut.
