Miho, is the former bassist, left band in 2021. Fami joined in 2022. All music 2023 and newer features Fami on bass. This was my first experience of them and it blew my F mind, being a metalhead for 35yrs+. Band is off the charts talent-wise. Asami sings in English, and the rest just shred their instruments every song. They can slow it down to and have some real masterpieces. Welcome to Lovebites, the Wolfpack Lovebites fans around the world, will be along to give you information and recommendations. Lovebites are a Japanese heavy metal band, formed in 2016 by Miho, Bass, who was previously in the band DESTROSE that broke up in 2015. They take much of their influence from the 1970's and 80's British and European bands such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Metallica. Miho is a big fan of Steve Harris, bass player with Iron Maiden and is influenced by his playing style. She left the band in 2021 for personal reasons and is currently pursuing new projects. Any Lovebites video recorded in 2021 or earlier, the bassist will be Miho (ESP Bass), any from 2022 or later, it is Fami (Bacchus Bass, usually a 5 string) Lovebites take their name from a song by the band Halestorm 'Love Bites (so do I)' Vocalist Asami has performed the song live with Lizzy Hale and her band. This video is from very early in their career and is one of the songs that helped them get their recording contract. The present members are, Asami, Vocals and Piano. She trained in Ballet Dancing and before Lovebites was a R&B singer. She writes many of the lyrics and sings in English, not easy for a native Japanese speaker. Midori, (Midori Tatematsu) ESP Guitars. Before Lovebites a member of all female band GEKIJO METALICCHE. Miyako, ( Watanabe Miyako, also has used the name Mi Ya) Dean and Gibson Guitars, Piano and Keyboards. The 'serious' one with long black hair. Before Lovebites a member of the bands DROP OF JOKER, 21g and SONIC LOVER RECKLESS. She is a classically trained pianist who writes much of the music, often incorporating classical themes into her compositions. She recently posted a 3 part series on her YT channel 'MIYAKO OFFICIAL' about the process she uses to compose new music in her home studio. She has an EP of some classic heavy metal songs transcibed and played on piano as though they are classical works. It would be accurate to think of her as a classical pianist who also plays guitar in a heavy metal band. A remarkable young woman. Both Guitarists play lead, seamlessly swapping lead and rhythm as required. They play wonderful harmonised dual solos. Fami, Bacchus Bass. Recruited as replacement for Miho in late 2022 when she was 20 years old and still at university. She has her own YT channel that has nearly 700,000 subs. Check out her 'Alien Alien' Slap Bass cover from when she was in her teens. Haruna, Drums. The 'Little BIG Engine'. a tiny lady, 1.45 meters tall, who is the power house that drives the band. Before Lovebites she had been in Destrose, Miho's former band, and was the first to join her in the new band. She plays powerfully, fast and precisely throughout concerts that can be up to near 2 hours long. She uses a double kick bass pedal at unbelievable speed. All members of the band can play piano/keyboards. They were the first all female Japanese band to play at the Wacken festival, Germany in 2018, also playing at the Bloodstock festival in the UK and winning the UK Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best new band. In 2019 they toured the UK with Dragon Force and opened for Arch Enemy in China. Following Miho's departure in 2021 they went on hiatus, two members, Asami and Miyako getting married and having babies. Their 'comeback' concert, the first with Fami on Bass, was in March 2023. I'm glad you guys discovered Lovebites. This was just their 2nd MV, and it was 'first' released in 2017, but it had a section in the middle with information on a new Album, and their upcoming concerts. They took that part out after Covid and released it again without the promo. Sorry for the number of 'wannabe fans' with uncomplimentary Comments. Every Reaction Channel has their own style, and if you don't like their 'style', then just avoid their future videos. But leaving insulting comments when you don't get what *You* want from a reaction just makes you a _Troll_ .

They are listened not only by metalheads. Ladies came out of their metal genre and have wider spectrum of fans.
They play Eclectic Metal. It means they blend as the first band in history all kind of metal mainly power and thrash with NWOBHM,
heavy metal, symphonic metal, speed metal,hair metal, hard rock, rock, rock'n'roll, jazz, progressive pieces, funk and even punk. They mix all with classical music using operatic, R&B, soul and gospel skills of vocalist and grand piano and Spanish guitar skills playing. Sometimes they use typical Japanese melodic lines which are included in ENKAs_ melancholy ballads singing by Japanese women. Only their can do it. Obviously they draw a lot from British, German and American metal. All this makes their style unique.

LOVEBITES was formed in 2016 by Miho(Ba) and Haruna(Dr), members of the band "DESTROSE", which went on hiatus in 2015.
The girls made their major label debut in 2017 (March 24) with "THE LOVEBITES EP".
On 11 June 2018, LOVEBITES won '🏆BEST NEW BAND' at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods 2018 awards organised by the British metal magazine METAL HAMMER.
On 4 August, LOVEBITES performed on the W.E.T stage at WACKEN OPEN AIR 2018, one of the world's largest annual metal festivals in Germany, with the 10,000 capacity venue almost full.
"Bloodstack open air 2018(Aug. 10)" also participated.
On August 20,2018, LOVEBITES announced that it has partnered with X-ray Touring, one of the largest players in the UK booking agent industry.
LOVEBITES toured the Netherlands, Germany, France and UK from November 13-21, 2018.
Asami (Vo) of LOVEBITES appeared as a guest on stage at Halestorm "Download Japan 2019(March 21)", singing alongside "Lzzy" Hale on Halestorm's 'Love Bites', which gave the band their name.
LOVEBITES performed as a support band for "Arch Enemy's China tour at the Shanghai show on March 23 and the Beijing show on March 24, 2019".
LOVEBITES participated in "dowload Festival 2019(June 15)".
And Asami of LOVEBITES appeared as a guest on stage at Halestorm Download Festival UK 2019, singing alongside "Lzzy" Hale on Halestorm's "Love Bites" again after Japan.

On 2 December 2019, LOVEBITES was the support act for the Tokyo leg of Halestorm's Japan tour.

The remaining girls organised an audition for a new bassist from around the world and recruited a new bassist called Fami(Ba).
Fami is a five-string bassist who can dance, sing and play and has 695,000 TH-cam subscribers.

Welcome to Lovebites, the Wolfpack Lovebites fans around the world, will be along to give you information and recommendations.
Lovebites are a Japanese heavy metal band, formed in 2016 by Miho, Bass, who was previously in the band DESTROSE that broke up in 2015. They take much of their influence from the 1970's and 80's British and European bands such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Metallica. Miho is a big fan of Steve Harris, bass player with Iron Maiden and is influenced by his playing style. She left the band in 2021 for personal reasons and is currently pursuing new projects.
Any Lovebites video recorded in 2021 or earlier, the bassist will be Miho (ESP Bass), any from 2022 or later, it is Fami (Bacchus Bass, usually a 5 string)
Lovebites take their name from a song by the band Halestorm 'Love Bites (so do I)' Vocalist Asami has performed the song live with Lizzy Hale and her band.
This video is from very early in their career and is one of the songs that helped them get their recording contract.
The present members are,
Asami, Vocals and Piano. She trained in Ballet Dancing and before Lovebites was a R&B singer. She writes many of the lyrics and sings in English, not easy for a native Japanese speaker.
Midori, (Midori Tatematsu) ESP Guitars. Before Lovebites a member of all female band GEKIJO METALICCHE.
Miyako, ( Watanabe Miyako, also has used the name Mi Ya) Dean and Gibson Guitars, Piano and Keyboards. The 'serious' one with long black hair. Before Lovebites a member of the bands DROP OF JOKER, 21g and SONIC LOVER RECKLESS. She is a classically trained pianist who writes much of the music, often incorporating classical themes into her compositions. She recently posted a 3 part series on her YT channel 'MIYAKO OFFICIAL' about the process she uses to compose new music in her home studio. She has an EP of some classic heavy metal songs transcibed and played on piano as though they are classical works. It would be accurate to think of her as a classical pianist who also plays guitar in a heavy metal band. A remarkable young woman.
Both Guitarists play lead, seamlessly swapping lead and rhythm as required. They play wonderful harmonised dual solos.
Fami, Bacchus Bass. Recruited as replacement for Miho in late 2022 when she was 20 years old and still at university. She has her own YT channel that has nearly 700,000 subs. Check out her 'Alien Alien' Slap Bass cover from when she was in her teens.
Haruna, Drums. The 'Little BIG Engine'. a tiny lady, 1.45 meters tall, who is the power house that drives the band. Before Lovebites she had been in Destrose, Miho's former band, and was the first to join her in the new band. She plays powerfully, fast and precisely throughout concerts that can be up to near 2 hours long. She uses a double kick bass pedal at unbelievable speed.
All members of the band can play piano/keyboards.
They were the first all female Japanese band to play at the Wacken festival, Germany in 2018, also playing at the Bloodstock festival in the UK and winning the UK Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best new band. In 2019 they toured the UK with Dragon Force and opened for Arch Enemy in China. Following Miho's departure in 2021 they went on hiatus, two members, Asami and Miyako getting married and having babies. Their 'comeback' concert, the first with Fami on Bass, was in March 2023.

I'm glad you guys discovered Lovebites. This was just their 2nd MV, and it was 'first' released in 2017, but it had a section in the middle with information on a new Album, and their upcoming concerts. They took that part out after Covid and released it again without the promo. Sorry for the number of 'wannabe fans' with uncomplimentary Comments. Every Reaction Channel has their own style, and if you don't like their 'style', then just avoid their future videos. But leaving insulting comments when you don't get what *You* want from a reaction just makes you a _Troll_ .
