It's like they jack her up on caffeine or something, strap her down into the kit, and push the start button. She just GOES the *entire* concert!
If there was a dedicated Haruna cam you would see her in a whole new light. She twirls the sticks around constantly and her hand and foot work is hypnotizing.
That auditorium is literally at half-capacity. This concert was under covid restrictions. They weren't going to have the concert at all, so we are really lucky they managed to make it happen. And yes, this song kicks ass. Lovebites is #1 for a reason.
This entire concert is next-level stuff. 18 songs, all performed to perfection. I suggest you get the DVD "Heavy Metal Never Dies" and just save it for reactions--you have some 17 songs to go. The DVD is available at Amazon Japan and CD Japan, as well as through the band's website. Even if you don't use it for reactions, it's worth it--one of the best things ever captured on video.
Great review. Can you believe this? Some TH-cam reactor heard Set The World on Fire, and said the drummer was boring!! I still want to know how she heard that music. I love M&M solo most in this specific song. Miyako's thrilling sweep picking combined with tapping and Midori's beautifully melodious shredding.
I seen that reaction, Saying Haruna is boring kinda made me angry....and I'm not an angry individual. Guess I'm jus really passionate when it comes to LOVEBITES. Haruna is amazing, so talented.
Asami also plays the piano on "We The United" at the end of the song but yes Miyako normally plays it in most songs and pre-records for the backing lines. Yes they were wearing masks and had a separation and had restrictions
Good to see Haruna getting some recognition. We also see Asami playing the piano on We The United, the last song on the 2020 FOAK tour. But you're right Miyako is the piano virtuoso. Its a shame we don't see Asami doing more on the piano as she must have time on her hands given the length and frequency of the guitar solos. 🤣
Asami plays the piano because even Miyako would struggle with this arrangement trying guitar and piano. And, not dissing Asami (whom I adore) but it’s a simple piece, and I guess they felt it worked better than a tape track which they use regularly. Nice reaction.

Another great reaction. The thing I loved about Haruna is the little stick flicks all the way through the song. Not just when we see her close up, but also when she is in the background. In many shots if you look past the other 4 women, she is just doing her little flicks. Almost like she's trying to keep herself amused. Love it. Another live one you haven't done yet is 'Journey To The Other Side' Written by Miho & Miyako about the passing of Miho's father. A really touching song.
