One thing it isn't...a 1932 Model A. It could be a Model B 4 cylinder or even a Series 18 V8. Model A ran from 1928-1931. Sorry, but thems the facts.

Just inherited my grandfather’s model A, it’s arguably in slightly better condition, but it’s the same year and had the same headlight modification. We just pulled out most of the rats nests tonight, can’t wait drive her one day!

What a nice starting platform for a resto. Since this was your dad's, I know the attention you're gonna put into this. I built a 66 Corvette for my dad and he enjoyed in many years before he passed. It was the most important thing I ever built, just because it was his..Good luck on this build....

That old girl was in xln't restoration condition. The Brooklyn Pony was in far worse condition than that. I find it amazing what you do to these cars. Most would have scrapped the BP. Regardless if it was if convertible or not. It was a death trap in the condition you received it in.

If you look at the vin sticker, it will say what year it is. However, manufacturers typically make the break point around September I believe. So, you will have a 2006.

I hope you build it correctly & don't do it half arsed. I've seen many of these done over the years & they leave a lot to be desired. I own a 1931 Ford A Model Briggs Slant 160B here in Australia & it's been restored to within an inch of it's life. Been judged the best in Australia & probably the world & has also been updated with many modern components for safer driving on our modern roads.
