@@communitygamer117 There's a lot of faults with the anime adaptation but I don't think the speech is one of them. The LN version is largely the same, just taking place in different places. In either case, they properly reveal the MC's sociopathic nature

It was confirmed that Ibuki was the one who stole Kei's underwear in order to cause division inside of Class-D in order to smoke out their leader, though it was a risky play as she would have had to known that she would immediately be a suspect.
I like the fact that Roshi and co skipped the giant ass plot point of Ayanokoji's own father trying to get him expelled for some mysterious reason, as Ayanokoji has been shown be intent on staying in the school to the point where he had to go along with his teacher blackmail and keeping his past hidden as he lowkey threatened Horikita into stop poking her nose into thing beyond her comprehension.
I don't blame them for missing some key things because a lot was happening in that last episode. I had to watch this anime at least twice to notice them and even then I'm sure I still missed some things.

How the hell an anime studio let this gem sit on the shelf and collect dust for so long after that ending is beyond me. I don't know who did it but blessings be to that person that talked some sense into the studio
it was becuase the adaptation was not that great and the japanese fans didnt like it. i guess its returning 6 years later first becuase the light novels still sell very well and lastly at least from my perpective ive seen more people from the west reading and watching the show, so that boost of popularity helped it. and lastly theres like a tendency rn to bring back series from the past.

Yeah I agree with what you've said. Just imagine if this was animated by Shaft instead of Studio Lerche, it would have been amazing with all the fast changing camera angles, the head twists, face close ups, and clean animation (also while still keeping the detailed eye colours of this anime would make it be even better). Studio Shaft suits perfectly with Classroom of the Elite if you think about it...

God I hope that season 2 isn't rushed to shit. I know they cant fit every detail into the anime but I pray that there isn't any massive changes. Like in season 2 the "main" girl *should* be someone who had hardly any screen time, you wouldn't have ever thought that she was important.
I honestly can't think of a way the could change her involvement in the story. She's such an integral, main part of vol 4, 7, and even 9, that I can't see them changing it.
Honestly judging how they immediately announced s3 after S2 announcement it's pretty much confirmed they are rushing the series to finish the first year arc most likely they will follow the LN plot in S2 and s3

They made some changes to the story from the novels. Like there were more people involved in some of the past events. I do hope they figure out a proper way to introduce them next season.

I felt like ayanokoji's monologue was better used in the LN because it happened after horikita passed out on the island exam and ayanokoji had her quit. He also says to horikita "don't feel bad you were useful to me" that gave me chills it was great. I just finished vol 4 and am going to start 5 I seriously love this so far.

Ayanokoji, if anything, would have Schizoid Personality Disorder. That's the one that everyone thinks is socio/psychopath, being emotionless, etc. Or hell, just SPD. Very easy to say.

I am baffled sometimes how there seems to be so little content about Eighty-Six on YT making it feel so under the radar at the moment (even though is really isn’t). It’s AMAZING and the story can have quite a resemblance to the political and social aspect of Attack on Titan paired with their own original and absolutely beautiful storytelling!
