L coke I mean they are hair loss surgeons and work for the hair loss industry? Basically their whole practice depends on people trusting finasteride just saying.
That’s not to say that everyone or even most people who take finasteride will have issues but there is risks associated with it and everyone should do their own research and come to their own conclusions. And also obviously if you personally take finasteride then of course your gonna be heavily biased in favour of it cause you wouldn’t want to accept the fact that you are regularly taking a potentially dangerous drug on a daily basis?

Embrace the way your body is evolving, it will hurt you less than fighting against something you naturally don't have the control over it. If you can't grow a beard just don't, and if you are going bald, just shave it man and accept the way you are evolving. Self-confidence will make you suits it well, and it is true for everything ;) Charisma +++

Started going bald at 18. Litterally wrecked my early 20s. I would wear a cap all day long which ironically just sped up the process. Girls would ask me out and I would refuse cause of fear of reaction when I would remove my ball cap.
I met my wife at 24 and had lost alot of hair by then, and she still found me good looking.

Damn he looks great! My boyfriend finally went for it during quarantine (he's 25) and the change in his confidence is amazing. His hair has been thinning since his teens, probably could've gone for the shave a couple years ago but held onto it for fear of how I would react. If you're in your early 20's and balding, but you're scared of how your girlfriend will react, sit and talk it out with them. If she reacts badly, time to shave anyway and find yourself a better woman! Women can lose their hair too, or hell anything can change with your appearance. If your partner would leave you because you have the balls to take control of your situation, they ain't it

Also started losing my hair at 17. I was drawing and a friend said she could see my head through my hair. I went to the bathroom to check and saw what she meant. After that I was super conscious of my hair loss. I never wanted to stay under bright lights and never allowed no one to touch my hair. One day I was nagging my mum About consulting a dermatologist and she told me “people don’t mind a bald guy, but they can’t stand a guy obsessed with his hair”. That clicked right away, but I was still insecure. It was only after a break-up when I was also 22 I decided to shave my ever thinning hair. I had nothing to hide anymore. I looked ok and frankly, it made no difference. I’m 30 now and still shaving my head. I miss having a different hair cut, but other than that, my self esteem is higher than ever. In a way it taught me not to focus on the things I cannot change and instead focus on what I can improve.

I just shaved my head at 21 years old, my hair has been thinning since I was 18 and was starting to become noticable. In public I was constantly fixing my hair so that the thinning wouldn't show; Huge hit to my self confidence. I finally decided to embrace it now rather than live in shame for the next couple years. I have no facial hair but the confidence I have in myself makes up for it. It's like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders (technically my scalp lol) and I'm free to become a new man and improve myself, focus on other things rather than vanity.

If any of you guys on here are young, 17-25. Don't give up. There are so many options. Even if you can't see your hair right now, there are still fibers down under there that are clinging on to life, they will die if you don't do anything. I had a mature hairline ever since I was in middle school and I hated it, I'm gonna get it done, my doctor says I haven't started balding yet, but I know I will because of genetics. I'm 17 right now, and I am planning to straighten out my widows peak, and then use minoxidil to prevent further hair loss until the drug is no longer effective. You don't have to take finasteride at such a young age, your hair follicles are still alive, they're just small.

@@feedapony I grew out my hair for 2 years, got it cut short (not shaved, just a "normal" guys cut, short at back and sides and a little longer on top) just last month and expected the long hair to have masked some thinning and having short hair would make it a lot more obvious, but I don't think it has! Looked way better than I expected. My problem areas are my temples and widows peak, it doesn't seem to have gotten worse which is great.
I do definitely think my hairline was just maturing in my early 20's, it doesn't look different to 2 years ago. I don't think im progressively balding. I recently seen some photos when I was 17-19 and I can see the start of my temples thinning but overall it largely looks the same. I think I just had a scare, few of my friends are starting to bald and noticed a few problem areas of my own and assumed the worst.
I don't take anything for my hair like Rogaine etc either, just a good diet and vitamins!

Thank you all for the nice comments and your encouraging words! I just wanted to make a few things more clear than I may have in the video:
In the end, everyone has got to decide for himself what to do. I currently don´t have the money for a hair transplant or hair piece and I don´t want to risk possible side effects of Finasteride (although I´m well aware that not all Finasteride users experience negative side effects and that results can be amazing). Minoxidil doesn´t work that well anymore for me so I´m not going to keep using it. I´m not saying I will never try to give other options a shot but for now I´m okay with a bald head. May consider to get a hair piece at some point but honestly, that would be a lot of money, effort and it still wouldn´t be "real", if you know what I mean. I wanted to try out the big step first and see how it really feels like to be bald. And it´s half as bad as I expected it to be;) A healthy mindset just requires the step out of the comfort zone sometimes.
And for the people who say that I still have plenty of hair: I agree! I could have had my hair for a few more years and just continue using Minox and Hair Fibre. But watching the hair get thinner and thinner with every day was painful and the amount of hair fibre and Minoxidil I put on every day was just ridiculous. Also my mindset became more and more destructive and I felt trapped. After having shaved my head I felt a relieve. Maybe some of you can relate to that.
I´ll explain in part 2 how the first week after the shave felt like and what I think about it. The talk with Harry was amazing, thank you again for that!:D
    Cheers guys!

You look nice with the beard and the barely there low low cut (idk if I'm saying that right sorry)

Dont torture yourself just embrace whatever you have and accept yourself coz nobody else give a shit about how you look. Its all about being comfortable in your skin

20 here and from India too. Started loosing when I was 18. I am entering college in next two months and don't have enough confidence as I was having in junior college. Stopped posting or you can say using social media because I know I don't look that good now with big forehead and receding hairline. With the old posts of mine I got some mutual girls to talked but I avoided them. There was this one girl who is friend with one of my friend I had huge crush on her and when she got to know about that. She texted me, we started talking. One regular day she said you look nice and said your feed is decent and those words from her gave me a big anxiety because I know I am not same. I started avoiding her and eventually I deactivated my account because I didn't want those anxious feelings. I figured it out that achieving my goal is only thing that can boost my confidence. Started preparing hear hard for my competitive exam thag I really forgot that I am even loosing hair. Boom now I am getting a college and this free period I again getting bit conscious about my hair loss. I still have good amount but I can't style my hair like I used to before because my forehead looks big that way. Though I am not much tensed about it but again here in India being bald is a big issue. Let the girls alone even men makes fun sometimes. Many don't prefer marrying a bald guy. I hope our society apni society bhi intni open hoti that we could shave it and accept it rather than stressing about it.

@@saif.less. hey bro. Whatever u r going through happened with most of us. Dont let it rattle ur confidence. Im an indian to i can feel wht u r going through. People can be mean at times but if i hv to giv u advice mine would be to shave ur head completely or trim ur head completely. I still hv 70% of my hailine but its tht 30% which stings. People often use to point out tht 30% nd gave me 1000s of tips fr hair growth which was very irritating. Whn i decided to trim my hair off it was a big change jst after a month i accepted my new look nd so does people around me. Nt a single frnd ever sd anything bad abt my looks or made fun of me (If ur frnds does tht to u thn u need new frnds).
Just like u i was very down on myself my confidence was shattered but i regained it slowly and stedely over time. I used to be very popular wid girls as a teenagers had many gfs and affairs even in my early 20s but loosing hair pushed me towards depression. I lost my confidence even i started avoiding grls evn those who were interested in me. Its been yrs now i hv been triming my hair almost every week. People adore my look. I look more manly nd kinda rich because of my bald look. In last 1 yr many women hv shown thr interest in me. Even though i lost my game nd forgot who to flirt coz of depressiom period but they initiated it and flirted with me which gave solid boost to my confidence. Beleive me bro i dated a women who was contender to miss india and she approached me. I aint tht handsome but some people like quite and depressed typ 😂 tht wrked in my favour i guess as i nvr showed any interest in her even whn othrs were drooling fr her.
Bhai its all abt mind set. Right now i h v been wrkingout fr last 6 mnths nd gained good muscles. I hv nvr felt better abt my body. Dnt think tht u hv to achive something drastic jst to overcome ur baldness or else u would remain depress. Stop hiding ur head grow a beard if u can or a mustache gain muscles wear good clothes get a tattoo or do whatever fits u. If u hide it will represent ur insecurity if u come out wid it it will show ur confidence....hope i was able to help u out

I know this is not related to hair loss or shaving your head. My girlfriend just broke up with me 3 days ago during this Coronavirus crisis even though we have been dating for 2 and a half years. We were on and off multiple times and we have tried our best to work it out. But somehow just result in the same place which is she dumping me again. I have my part to be blamed on. Before watching this video, I have watched many videos across TH-cam on how to deal with a break up but all of them don’t seem to work. Until I see this video, the concept of letting go of what is not meant to stay from the gentleman in the clip truly touched my heart. Now that I see things more clear and I know that we are not compatible, also not meant for each other and I need to let go of her so that I can get back on track to take care of my broken heart and soul. Thanks for the video! 🙏

It will not be easy letting go, but speaking from experience an on and off relationship is in many ways toxic. You will certanily remember her and the moments you had with her even 20 years from now but as soon as your feelings fade the absence of her will not bring u sadness. One way or another you will have your family, new friends and potential lovers you'll meet as the years go by.
