I'm 33. Have been doing clean razor shaves for the past 12 years. Stopped nicking the back of my head when I started using a very small amount of shave oil prior to lathering up my head. Game changer. My routine is: wet head, 2x pumps shave oil (King of Shaves), lather up with shave cream (Arko) then go for the razor (Gillette Sensitive XL). Moisturising twice daily for first 2 days post shave. Always leave at least 3 days between shaves. If go beyond 5 days buzz with clipper before shave.

Can't say I notice a huge difference in ease of shave compared to a non-lather cream (like Cremo), but it does make me enjoy the process a bit more. We'll see how long I keep it up!

For the razor, it’s actually better to use cold water and not warm water. Warm/hot water expands the metal and therefore takes sharpness of the razor away. Try it out. It will give you an even closer shave

    • @mikeypstar4490

My hubby and I have tried numerous different razors over the years and we always tend to go back to the Gillette Mach 3. To be honest, they’re all about the same, except for the Bic disposable which cuts me badly every time I use it. It’s OK for outlining the beard, but not for a full head shave. Agree that trying to razor shave with any ore than 2 days growth is difficult - part from anything else, it quickly clogs up the razor. An electric razor shave is OK if you’re happy with a tiny bit of stubble (equivalent to a day’s growth) but personally I like my head to feel super smooth.

Sorry to hear that you are going through this with 21. Let me give you an advice: At first it kind of sucks, especially since you are forced to do this but after a short time you really get used to it and it becomes business as usual. Before you know it, it will be your regular look and you won't mind it at all.

I'd like to say something that I believe is incredibly important. When it comes to hair loss, everyone confuses massaging with exfoliating. They are not the same thing at all. You shouldn't exfoliate your skin more than once or twice a week. If you exfoliate every day you will irritate and harm your skin which will exacerbate the problem. Massaging on the other hand is something you can do every single day even multiple times a day. This is when you firmly place your hands on your head while simultaneously moving the skin to push blood around, especially on the sides to increase blood flow to the top. This may help you tremendously.

What does this have to do with this video? This is about shaving off the hair and forgetting about all of the nonsense you are talking about. Liberate yourself from the snake oil solutions and do what looks and feels the best: Shave it off!

@ChillCash again : scalp massaging doesn't work for hair regrowth / stopping hairloss . You are wasting your time here. Told you before but you don't listen...
Go watch HairCafe on this subject (please do it for real) then you will understand and stop doing this scalp massage nonsense...

@@Stealthfulnessget on finasteride (go watch HairCafe again about that) . Or just shave your head bald like here (which is fine as well).
      Both is okay . 👍
But make up your mind soon and don't waste your time, energy etc... on debunked theories like scalp massages... you are just going bald doing that anyways..

I would also highly recommend going to a Turkish barber and treating yourself to a straight razor head shave. It’s such a luxury but it feels like you get to be pampered again. I missed going to the barbers but now I treat myself regularly. Get the beard lined up and the head smooth and polished. 🤌🏽

Grow back the majestic viking beard and never cut it down. One thing I hate the most is that men that have the best genetic for beard grow, just laugh and cut the beard off. Like if you don't want to grow it, then go to laser cut it or just let it grow

I have seen many people of variety of ages, using Finasteride(propecia) tablet 1mg/ day with great success regrowing hair in the crown region and those with androgenic alopecia, and making stifled and thin looking hair stronger and thicker after several months of continuously using it..This is not to undermine this channel but only for those who are not confident shaving their heads off after hair loss, or those who find their face/ head shape inapropriate or unfit in the first place
