Up there as one of my all time favourite tasks, and that's including all the UK tasks as well: You've got the sheer ridiculous number of tins, the hidden arrow and the secret label. Then there's the different approaches, David being his usual insane self, Guy hammering away, Laura losing the will to live, Matt finding the sneaky approach and Urzila doing her usual self and bullying Paul.
I always like pointing out that the odds of David Correos not finding the beans until the 141st can is exactly the same as randomly finding the beans on his fourth try.
@@SeymourAlexanderthat’s not right, if you open all the tins and line them up in the order you open them, the odds of it being in the first 4 are the same as the odds of it being in the last 4
@@revolve4562 - that is true. But you are making the assumption that you must open the can in the order presented. Obviously not the case here. If you can open them up in any order than the math becomes harder. Here is a example. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monty_Hall_problem
@@SeymourAlexander the monty hall problem doesn’t apply here, there’s no similar “swap” to be made, since the cans are all identical (as far as david knows). he’s effectively put them in order himself from 1 to 144 and opened them successively.
I'm enjoying the NZ version. But I would say, they don't show the clips in the right order for the suspense. The res arrow reveal was basically ignored the entire time... which is really weird!
Hehe he, David squirming with joy when he learned Laura took longer than him.
Oh, I always thought he was squirming with joy because he thought she was going to attack Paul or Jeremy
The rule of taskmaster is “always check under the table!”

There's a major distinction between this and the UK Taskmaster, which is that I don't think 80% of UK contestants call Alex Horne "a fuck"
Alex's parents didn't give him that name, whereas it is apparently common in New Zealand

Not true.
You would be correct if each choice was independent, like a coin flip.
You need to consider the cumulative effects of selection.

@@revolve4562 i don't really have dog in this fight, but this fight reminds me of this clip. th-cam.com/video/AD6eJlbFa2I/w-d-xo.html
I love how Guy Montgomery chose the most destructive and psychopathic method of opening the cans.
The slow sunglasses removal threatened great violence.
Matt Heath living his best life 😂
absolute best season
So like my brain says spill every can off the table technically I've spilt the beans.

None of them actually used the red arrow though. Laura worked it out after she'd found the can, but the others didn't notice it at all.
Stevens is my Pasific theater guy..... New Zealand is like Austrialias canada.
Your Alex is a good Alex.jj
Yikes!
This show is shit if this is a highlight. Bring me back to the UK good shit.
It's one of the best series of Taskmaster, including all the UK series.
