He was on the Taskmaster podcast with Ed Gamble recently and said that they cut the lines that straight up weren't as funny and they cut him threatening Matt Heath's kids

Maybe you misheard them as I dont think that was said. I believe the line was "More famous than us but we're on the same wage." The diss being they all got paid the same despite popularity.
This sort of language is acceptable in the adult English speaking world - except America, where they're so prudish about profanity - yet they still have the death penalty !!! Bloody funny. 😉
I love this so much but across the whole of Series 2 the amount of food waste (during a pandemic where so many people even in NZ were struggling) did kind of make me sad.
Alex has said on-air a few times that they’ve donated to local food banks because of the amount of food they felt they wasted in their tasks (e.g. biggest splat in S5), so I’m sure he would “strongly suggest” other franchises do the same, even if they don’t announce their donations on-air.
