Sometimes you read a book and it leaves a giant lasting impression on you. No matter what you do, you just can't get it out of you head. Well, that's what happened to me with Sensei's Pious Lie. I read it and now I can't not think about it.
It's a difficult read, featuring tons of heavy subjects, but I believe it's an important step towards having open conversations about subjects that have been stigmatized for too long.

I have a bad feeling something more than platonic will develop between the teacher and student and honestly that would be brutal considering that’s just another weird power dynamic. Urg idk. Looking forward to it regardless!

I was looking to read this manga when I saw it and read the synopsis. But after watching your review, I don't know if I can. I don't mind heavy themes in manga but this is too real for me.

Oh damn sorry to hear! But yeah I totally understand. It’s heavy themed, and unfortunately I have no idea if it has a positive resolution or anything. Sometimes heavy topics can be good if educational but so far I’m not sure if this will be the case here! Cheers!

@@Manganalysis In a fantasy world setting (magic, monsters etc.) this would be an easy read even with those themes. But in a "real world" setting? idk man.
