    What are your thoughts on the status/functionality of the PSVR2 PC Adapter?

      Though it took a Windows 11 reinstall to get it working, everything is fantastic now. Played Half Life Alyx and was awesome.

      @@olddarth6385 any way to watch vr & 360 videos ?

      Only through Steam Apps and with downloaded content. Sadly no 360 video detection through internet browsers detected through the PSVR2.

      A fresh Windows install does wonders in itself !

      Still didn't fix my issues....super frustrating spending hours trying to get it to work.

    Bought the PSVR2 Adapter, 8K Display Port Cable, ASUS USB-500 BT Adapter and everything worked well with my old I5 4690, Intel ARC a750 & Half Life Alyx over Steam VR. 💯

      Spending more in the vr headset than you spent on your rig is insane.

    PlayStation VR2 2.5.0?

    • @brettharperspodcast
      @brettharperspodcast  13 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      This video was made before that update. The 2.5.0 more associated with the app stability overall.

    I wish they would add the feature that lets you make sure the headset is sitting on your head correctly and your ipd is setup properly.

      Its a tough one, my head set constantly moves around until it finds a sweet spot, or I stop trying to look up lol.

    i just got the adapter but have yet to setup. do i also need to buy a bluetooth dongle to be able to use the hand controllers?

      If your PC has bluetooth, not necessarily. My controllers worked fine with my PC's motherboards built in Bluetooth. I say not necessarily because I only have experience with one PC :)

      My pc also has Bluetooth and the only problem I had was I had the psvr2 adapter plugged into the wrong usb port, and once I moved it, to a red port on my pc, away from the wifi antenna sticking out the back, everything works flawlessly.

      You might need to get a dongle. The controllers are useless when using my motherboards Bluetooth. I'm on an Asus am5 Mobo. I cant remember what Bluetooth adapter is on the board, but it's not intel. Mediatek maybe?

      Yes, you will need a BT dongle for your PC and it will need to be Bluetooth 5.0 compatable.

    I was having trouble doing the room set up. It wouldn’t complete. Has this been fixed?

    • @brettharperspodcast
      @brettharperspodcast  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Usually, the room setup is possible once the sense controllers are detected as its the next step in calibration overall, just like the room setup is done when the psvr2 is connected to the PS5

    great headset but garbage for roomscale

    • @brettharperspodcast
      @brettharperspodcast  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I not sure many games support that element from the Playstation store alone as it will ususally specify if room scaling is an option (under 2m ususally). But the PC landscape of titles is more broad indeed.

    No HDR support though 😭

      A lot of games overall don't feature HDR unfortunitely.

      Is your Bluetooth Dongle a 5.0 spec? if not, then chances are your Sense Controllers wont work.

    No eye tracking on pc still sucks

    • @brettharperspodcast

      Not a common feature overall, even when used on the PS5
