- SO happy to finally finish this gauntlet!! Completing the challenge itself took a while, and editing it was an organizational nightmare, but it was really fun, and I'm glad I was able to complete it while Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are still the newest main series games! If finding shinies is easy enough in Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee, I might just have to do this again in that game LOL.
In this gauntlet you can expect a lot of sparkles, a lot of wormholes, and a full odds finale! I hope you enjoy, and you can look forward to more gauntlets on a m u c h smaller scale soon! - เกม

I must say, you’ve inspired me.
Shiny hunting is normally something I don’t feel I have the time or patience for- mostly the patience, since with most cases it takes a lot of self-resetting, egg-hatching and just plain good luck to be able to catch shinies. However, this has at least inspired me to start hunting in the ultra wormholes again; I got lucky with a random shiny Audino being the first shiny I’d ever encountered, and for a minute I tried finding more shinies but had no luck. This video got me to start hunting again this evening and I’ve gotten extremely lucky so far. I’ve already caught a shiny Yanmega, Swanna, and an Altaria (going for the red wormhole shinies right now since I love those the most, especially Sigilyph, though I haven’t encountered that one yet and I’ll update this comment when I do). Doing a gauntlet like this takes incredible devotion and perhaps I could try something like this one day, but for now I’m focusing on collecting em’ all. Thank you so much for being so motivational! I hope your channel continues to grow and you continue to make awesome videos such as these!

I just want you to know your videos mean a lot to me, especially these training gauntlet ones. I love the formatting of your videos and how you take walks and record so many of life's really simple, yet beautiful moments. Your edits with Pokemon in the environments, and your jokes and comments about how they'd fit in the real world really warm my heart.
This was the one that caught my attention to watch and I've been looking at all of them slowly (watched all the gauntlets though) and they all make me happy. I shiny grind sometimes now when I feel up to it too!
I think it's clear that you really appreciate these little things that make life worth living, and seeing these videos makes it a lot easier for me to love life a bit more as well (I struggle a lot with depression). I've started going on walks in my neighborhood because of them. Your love for Pokemon is incredibly heartwarming. I really admire that you're able to play Pokemon while recording at events and while walking around without seeming anxious or self conscious, because I know I would be. Little by little you've really inspired me to just be happy with doing things that make me happy, no matter what anyone thinks, and to do as much as I can to appreciate life's simple pleasures instead of wasting away all depressed all the time.

And then there I am, having spent thousands of hours in pokemon games and never have I ever seen a single shiny one. I love Pokemon. Especially shiny hunting in Pokemon. It's so raw, so new, (yet old)so..... Endless. You could be playing for literally every second since you were born to your death, and you wouldn't get every pattern of Spinda. You wouldn't get every shiny Pokemon ever. But you can hope, and that is magical to me.

Wait a minute, in literally every other alternate universe (not including UB universes and legendaries), it's only at worst a 1/100 chance of finding any shinies. That doesn't sound fair.
Actually, since the shiny odds are determined the moment you set foot in the dimension, it's more likely that there are alternate universes where shinies are standard and standard is shiny, and you have at least a 1/100 chance of landing in one of these universes...

Damn this video is so excellently made, even for you this is so amazing, your videos do really have some sort of magic to them, something I really have a hard time describing, something that, in spite of how good your videos have always been, has really impressed me with how much you've managed to improve with portraying in recent videos. I'm just loving the use of music in this video! It works far more here than it does it most other 'let's play'/challenge type videos and I do think it's because you don't use a capture card DS for most of the video. Which when I first stumbled across you're videos really surprised me as nearly everyone I watch now uses some kind of capture device for DS's and Switch. I like the fact that you don't though, gives your videos a really unique twist. Loving the content :)
