That was an old worn spiked golf shoe key. It is used to loosen the cleats on the bottom of a metal spiked golf shoe. I used them for years as a ball mark on the putting green if I didn't have any coins with me.

Hey @lunkers tv when you are metal detecting you are supposed to push the coil down on the ground when you are pin pointing with the big detector it just gives you a closer range and you go right where the pile meets the coil and that's where you dig.

@ LunkersTV to help clean your coins/metals you can soak them in olive oil for a few days or put them in distilled water and put the container in the freezer the water will get into the dirt and grime and expand when frozen to "pop" the grime off and clean up the coin. You should also get a small jewelers loop to help read the dates.

Yeah, catfish swim at night. In my experience, from dust till 1am. The craziest thing you will see is a catfish (channel cat) top water bite around midnight.
