Thanks for this video was super useful first time fitting a stretch belt! Was real tricky stopping it slip off by myself, but if anyone wants a tip, once the tool got round to the top, I quickly removed it and placed it under the alternator, while also still prying the water pump part from the top, I moved the wrench with my foot 🤣. Worked a charm, thanks again

Just did this on a 2012 Ford fiesta..I be wished I had this tool...I used the 18 mm. 1/2 drive and a thick screwdriver... Took me forever
Nice one mate I had a belt snap on me only 2mile from my home I went to try to put the belt on today but failed think im going to need one those tools for the belt
When removing the belt, surely it’d be easier and quicker just to snip the old belt off?

What you charge for this job mate? Need it doing on a 1.4 with air con. By the sounds of your accent you ain’t too far away from me so might aswell get a price 😂
Just cut the old belt off. Use tie wraps around the crank pulley as you wind it on, cutting them off as it rotates.
What exactly do the tie wraps do?
