We've used this griddler for a variety of items including steak, fish, vegetables th-cam.com/users/postUgkxMcXT6_MuT0hB3ejyGQQHaeof9bwoWPUf and mushrooms and it's been great! Gets that great smokey flavor when using high heat or sear. The grill works amazingly simple and very low smoke for what it is. Heat gets up fairly quick, especially on closed position. The griddler side is fairly simple, better for eggs and pancakes rather than any cooking. Use the flat plates with the grill side if needed.Cleanup is easy and having heat on both sides is great for cooking a large amount or panini press. This definitely gets hot though so be careful with the sides.

I see a lot of comments about the hash browns and sausage being pre- shredded and the sausage being pre-cooked. These guys are cooking a lot of food for a lot of hungry people, especially kids, so you have to cut corners where you can or they would have been there at the grill a lot longer and food probably wouldn't be as good.
Aside from being Pats fans, you guys did a great job. Awesome.

    Nice job! Everything looks great!
    Added tip:
Unlike with grills, it is very important that wherever you move or rotate the Blackstone, make sure it is nice and level before firing it up. I noticed that the eggs were giving you trouble. Check it with a level if you have to. This is very important when working with things like eggs or crepes. If you make sure it is level first, maintaining better control over the eggs will be much easier.

Chucky chuck, Thank you for commenting . Funny that you enjoyed that tip. It's the one thing people have been killing us over because we didn't use the right term. If your ever talking about in in front of your buddies apparently it's called " basted eggs" . If you call it by anything else you will be trolled for years to come. Lol Glad you enjoyed and thank you again for commenting . Definitely hit us up if you have any suggestions for cooks or tips for us as well. As you said, got to keep on learning.

Minor tip...the griddle should be almost level with maybe a hair tipped towards the grease trap. This way your eggs don't run away. Second biscuit cutters and some non stick spray make great egg molds for sandwiches.

My daughter just bought the four burner model for my son-in law for Father's Day, but in truth she wanted it for herself.
She invited me for dinner last night and she whipped up Philly Cheese stake sandwiches complete with caramelized onions, bell peppers and toasted buns for 10 people; and she did it in less than 20 minutes. I was amazed at how quick she did it!! And to boot they were delicious!!!

That was one heck of a breakfast. I have the 36 inch BS grill and it's great for cooking large amounts of food at one time.
My 10+ years as a large volume cook tells me that by the time the easy/basted eggs came off the grill the bacon had been setting for about an hour.
Just some constructive criticism from an old Navy cook that cooked breakfast for 400 sailors on a daily basis that included fresh, cooked to order eggs. Even scrambled were cooked to order.
When cooking a breakfast that big it's best to utilize other cooking equipment and not rely only on the grill so that everything is done around the same time.
Since you had other family/friends help with the cooking a more efficient way to make this meal would have been to,
    1. Cook the bacon on sheet pans in the oven.
    2. While the bacon is in the oven heat the sausage and corned beef hash.on the BS grill. The sausage and CBH is already cooked so you're just bringing them up to temperature.
    3. The bacon, sausage and CBH should all be done about the same time so put each in a container.
4.Clear and clean the grill. Start hash browns on the grill and start toasting muffins under the broiler in the oven. Cook hash browns on one side for about 4 or 5 minutes then flip...ONCE.
    5. After flipping the h/bs start cooking the eggs in any order you want, easy, scrambled, omelet makes no difference.
    6. Plate the eggs individually and add the hash browns straight from the grill. This way the eggs and hash browns are straight off the hot grill and the meats and muffins have been setting for a much shorter period of time.

Hey there, bought a griddle not to long ago and it was only because I had been hassling the ol' lady. I told her it was you and all the guys fault on here. Thanks for the videos. Keep it up. I've made about ten meals so far from your videos alone!

Hi Dodgers! The one in the video is commercial grade so it is a bit pricey but I have to say, we were all impressed with how well it worked, Even without putting a ton of butter in it. Here is the link to it.
      amzn.to/2LOOPLH
We are amazon affiliates so if you buy it from that link we get a tiny commission. We thank you in advance. Given the high price of it, the build quality is good. I can see it lasting many many years.

When I find something I like I stick with it. From 1973 to 1982 I
ate the exact same lunch every day. Turkey chili in a bowl made out of bread.
Bread bowl, first you eat the chili then you eat the bowl. There's nothing more
satisfying than looking down after lunch and seeing nothing but a table.

Rather pricey but the build quality is really good. It should last for many years. We were also pleasantly surprised with the fact that it worked with only a single stick of butter.

It will be lunchtime before breakfast has been cooked and consumed. big breakfasts need a bit more planning if you dont have a commercial outfit. bacon can be 1/2 cooked and chilled the day or week before. I tailgate with 5lbs of bacon and its done within 20 min of setup. A for effort though.

    • @TheGriddleGuys

@@TheGriddleGuys First few bacon to get some grease going then start the hash browns, you can work in more bacon fat then as you go thru the rest of the bacon. :) Works like a champ. btdt.
