I love the absence of random ego and 'pose' in your videos. I'm a 62 year old bloke with 45 years of riding under my belt and across magazines and more recently social media, you've come as a breath of fresh air. I certainly give weight to your commentaries. Ride safe, and go well. All the best from NZ
I have a 450 NK and it’s a hoot! Way better than the other 400 - 500cc 180° crank lawnmowers imho. I could write a whole essay about this bike, but trust me: ride it once and you’ll get what I mean 😊
Hi bro✌. Я из Европы.И хочу купить этот мотоцикл,но меня уверяют что мотоцикл новый 450nk не надежный лучше купить старый японский мотоцикл или Yamaha or Kawasaki or Honda. Но мне очень нравится 450nk .Что можешь сказать.Или какой можешь дать совет. Thanks BROO. ✌✌✌
@GSVGaZ Hey bro! I would definitely go for the 450 NK if you like it so much. I also live in Europe (Belgium). Here are a lot of naysayers when it comes to buying CFMOTO's because it's Chinese. Many people forget our history of bikes. In the beginning when Japanese bikes came out, many people were also negative about them. Look where they are now. Also, a lot of things we have in our homes is made in China or has Chinese components. Let the others buy there Yamaha's, Kawasaki's and Honda's. I didn't listen to the naysayers and I just went for the 450 NK. Couldn't be happier! I've had a Kawasaki Ninja 300, a Yamaha XJ6, a Honda CBF 125 and now I have a Duke 125 and CFMOTO 450 NK. The NK is by far the best and most fun bike I have / had! It's light, powerful, playful and it sounds like a beast! It also has traction control, abs and a GPS, so when it gets stolen, you can see where it went, which is a big plus! To end this essay: EVERYWHERE I go people ask me how I like it and tell me how good it looks and sounds. I'm btw the only one who rides it in the neighbourhood so it's nice to be a bit 'unique' in this world. Do what feels right, brother, and ride on!
After 45 years away from motorcycling I saw this bike at the London bike show and found a demonstator, 28 miles on the clock, 900 quid off the price A no brainer, and I absolutely love it. Needed to take all the play out of the throttle as it was making slow speed roundabouts a nightmare, but it is just such a hoot. The engine is really peppy and just wants to go, gearbox is slick, highly flickable, brakes are good. I've put on a tail tidy and a flyscreen, both from Aliexpress. What more to say. Except that i've been so impressed that I ordered the 450MT after the ABR show and got a call from the dealer yesterday to say that it had arrived early and should be collecting it in a week's time. Can't wait. Now also considering the 675 NK, but the 450NK may have to be moved on. 😢 We'll see. Saw a first sneek peek YT video of the 675NK today. Excellent review Kate. It's a great little bike with a great exhaust note. 👍🏼
I'm really impressed with the CF Moto range and the 450 variants seem to do everything you need at a great price. And the Chinese manufacturers are definitely getting to grips with quality of build and value for money.
Glad you're back on it Kate, love your vids. This is a cracking little bike, fun and sporty, though a little cramped for my almost 6ft frame, I had a blast riding it too
Another fun (love your accent-sorry to sound like an American, but it's half the fun ) But your opinion is based on experience and knowledge, so that's another reason to like your channel. Cheers from the Pacific West Coast of Canada
The CB500f comes to mind for competition. Be nice to see it opened up on a windy road. The CFMotos I've seen at the local dealer have looked really nicely done.
I test rode one earlier this year when the CFMOTO demo truck was at my local dealer (I'm in the US). The thing is a hoot! I had so much fun with it that I came back the next day and rode another one. I don't do that very often. I would have taken out its big brother, the 800NK but my stiff knee didn't like the seating position. The 450NK has a more relaxed riding position. They had a preproduction 450MT on the truck for show. Although they wouldn't let anyone ride it, they did let us climb aboard and start it. It has a great sound for an adv bike, more like a sport bike, maybe some of that 450NK spirit. The seating position was a little awkward feeling just sitting on it.
Kate, Sarah the photographer said footage from the DJI in wide mode is absolutely perfect, road looks nice and flat not rounded like the footage from the GoPro 😉👏👏
The competition at that class has really heated up, so fantastic for the consumer. I'm not really looking in that demographic either but I am paying attention. Thanks for keeping us informed, Kate.
This bike is super in traffic and very light and zippy, the exhaust also does some popping too! wind resistance between 120 -150kph is hard on the arms for extended lengths of time and highways here in Malaysia are pretty bumpy which you feel quite a bit in the butt, but there are taller and padded option seats now available. Your absolutely right Kate, it does make you ride quickly; Im finding it a gas! Look forward to your longer reviews where you can hit 9000rpm! Some markets have 450nk's that have 49.6hp they are the CF-400-7 models. the CF400-7F are 46.3hp according to my manual.
I have a 300nk that I picked up for my first bike, $3,500 for a new bike made it very appealing. I have 900 miles on it in 3 months and I only have 3 complaints. 1. Mine is a matte finish and the plastic scuffs just looking at it. 2. It’s slow (I knew going in it would be, and I needed slow. Now I want more if I am going out of town. The 450nk is probably much better) 3. The quality of the plastics and bolts. This goes along with the scuffing, but I was taking the rear fender and chain guard off to do chain maintenance, and one of the bolts was not hex. The bolt was a perfect circle and had blemish free paint on it to show that it was rounded at the factory. I had to ez-out the bolt to do my maintenance. The other major bolt issue is that they smash them on so tight that I bend my tools trying to get them off. I am down 2 standard hex keys and 1 nice t-handle hex from trying to get a bolt off. The last issue is that from the day I bought it to the 600-mile maintenance, there was a horrible rattle next to my right knee between 3k-5k rpm. The dealer dove into the issue for me and found that they missed putting a screw in to keep two pieces of the plastic together. My review of my 300NK is that it's not the best put together thing straight out of the factory, but for the price, you really can't be mad either. A few hundred dollars in modifications, and it’s brilliant. I will keep this bike for around town riding, but an F900R will eventually replace it for group rides and anything requires use of an interstate (the 300nk maxes out at around 80 mph).
Marnin Kate. Glad your back oot and aboot on the bikes. I presume CF MOTO will have a stand at the bike show. Be good to have a look at their bikes . Nice vlog as always 👌 🤙
Looks good, sounds great, the price is right, and ultra wide is not my cuppa. It ticks a lot of boxes and has an interesting future, if the Made in China bit doesn't trip it up. Gonna watch a 2nd time now.... just coz of that exhaust note, luv it!

Could you do a throwover panier bag with your typical camping gear on the back. Obviously not actually going on one, The stuff you use when stopping overnight with Lily & friends. that would be interesting.
Morning Kate hope your well and feeling better now I think more of us should look/try the Chinese even if only for the price I haven’t yet I’m just thinking what a lot of people say but I think from what TH-camrs have said the CFMOTO’s seem to be the best of them myself I want a winter hack next year and I’ve looked at the guerilla which I think is a smart looking bike and looks feels excellent quality so that’s my choice I think so that my rocket stays in the garage tucked up nice and warm take care Kate ride safe ps are you and Mike going to do some more off roading would look forward to that go on please that was funny 😂😂🙏👋
I think it's a case of "the proof of the pudding..". I will say CFMOTO look serious in terms of developing a dealer network. Let's see if they can nail medium / long term reliability, build quality good enough for our "temperate" climate and spares availability. The brass tacks of the bike itself look really good and when you consider it's nearest rival (the Kawasaki Z500) is about £5900 on the road I think a few folk will be prepared to give the CF a chance on price alone. I fully get the thing about riding small bikes fast, adore my GSXR400 and YR5 but I actually end up riding my 400 faster than my 1100 in most situations - to the point where I started to worry about my licence! Luckily it's mothballed for winter now...
Wow, that’s a snazzy little bike. Very much like the 800 NK which is the best looking in class as far as I am concerned. OK, even I call it light on power but the weight is indeed “premium” low. Much more my thing then last weeks lead waterkettle. 😁
😅 That's a good candidate for a long-term test review because cheap entry-level bikes are definitely attractive... If the cost of maintenance and the quality permit reasonable ownership relations😂

Loving my cf moto 450 mt. That sounds amazing and has a super light clutch too. I think the engine is tuned slightly differently to the nk. The dash is nicer on the mt too.
@UsernameKate I've had 1290 dukes, 1100 africa twins and I'm loving the mt 450. It is a 450 so planning overtakes helps. I have out a 15 tooth front sprocket on. But it's super comfy amd well made. I can't understand why the European amd Japanese makers missed this segment and bring us very heavy, 200 bhp over £20k bikes? If apilia do a 457 tuareg that will be interesting but much more money.
@ you said, they didn’t produce them… well they did/do… Now you say they are not popular /didn’t sell.. ow? Are you sure? What are your sources? what i know, about the KTM’s and Husky’s, they sell well….
I'm sorry to be that guy but, @ £4,299.00 you do get traction control and ABS plus there are no OTR charges and the phone connectivity is free, with a built in tracker and ride analisis inc lean angle and riding details, it comes with a 4 year warranty and one year roadside assistance I've had mine for nearly a year and I love it, for the price nothing comes close
great video as always. but your wiggly, giggly phone mount was stressing me out every time it was in the frame. I recently lost a GoPro on the mountain road.
People do need to get over themselves when it comes to these don't they. Time will tell with corrosion but a squirt with Atom-Mac now and again would sort that. Great little looker 👍
All motorcycle manufacturers know the western world is on a downward trajectory and are preparing for the Indian and Asian markets where middle weights like 400cc/500cc are in demand.
Must say the build quality is getting a hell of alot better, Don't forget the KTM Engines are built in China as well 😁. But for the price it's a very good.
Honestly I think reviewers are doing them a disservice by using 'cheap' to describe these bikes. They're affordable and remarkably good value for money
Kate, try the CF Moto 450 RS (s), I did..... Nice little sports bike. However, I'm not a sportsbike rider, too old, too achy, too fat! 🤣🤣🤣 I'd love to see what you think, as a sportsbike rider, and a lover of smaller capacity bikes, that, as you say, you can wring it's neck!!😄
@motolab.EuropeanMotorcycles As I understand the situation, CFMOTO manufactures the 790 engines for KTM. I've been seeing articles about it for a couple of years. I've not seen any information on differences between the CFMOTO and KTM versions of the 790, so I cannot comment on that.
@@rickmancr checking ktm’s website and it seem that you are right about that engine size… i have adapted my comment.. still the term “based” on the LC8 are KTM’s own words from ktm representatives i spoke to @ EICMA in the past..
Round 'n round Kate goes What she like, only her bottom knows. It's always fun till it snows Round 'n round Kate goes. PS What do you thing of IB's new bike? An 87 Yamaha Tenere with kick start also.
It’s so upsetting to hear what Europe is doing to the biking community when you can argue that you can get better milage from a bike than from an SUV! I have a 2022 CBR1000RR and I get above 40 MPG when an SUV gets less than 20!!!🤬this doesn’t make sense. And the biker community does nothing to fight against this kind of discrimination
adjective 1. low in price, especially in relation to similar items or services. "local buses were reliable and cheap" Similar: inexpensive low-priced low-price low-cost economical economic competitive affordable reasonable reasonably priced moderately priced keenly priced budget economy cheap and cheerful bargain cut-rate cut-price half-price sale-price sale reduced on special offer marked down discounted discount rock-bottom giveaway bargain-basement slashed going for a song dirt cheap bargainous Opposite: expensive 2. of little worth because achieved in a discreditable way requiring little effort. "her moment of cheap triumph" Number 1 is how I mean it 😊
General remark: The bum etc. remarks seem to have disappeared a bit. Understandable because such things can easily be misinterpreted but I miss that sort of risky “blabbermouth” humour a bit. Don’t become too refined, hon. Love the besty remark though. 😁
this bike is cheap, because once it is out of warranty NOBODY will ever buy second hand. It is also cheap because in China this company sells 10x more bikes than all other bike producers combined (maybe except Indian ones, i.e. Bajaj). In Europe/US people are much more rich so the price matches the demand and the wealth of the people. Anyway, it is nice to see that apart from 25 000 GBP bikes, 12 000 GBP we have also 5 000 GBP bikes on the market - choice is always better than the colors pallette of the first Ford car ;-)
It's a pity that most advanced countries are going overboard with emissions when less advance do not care. Britain is cutting it's own throat. Sad that motorcycles will take the brunt.
They're all owned by the same company. CF, KTM and MV. All 3 are working with each other to some extent so while there is competition, the overall goal to the investors is that all 3 succeed.
£4200 even if discounted isn't a lot of money at all is it!!!! Got that in my back pocket. It's Chinese shite, don't fall into the trap of destroying more western manufacturing and the Japanese market.

great video as always. but your wiggly, giggly phone mount was stressing me out every time it was in the frame. I recently lost a GoPro on the mountain road.
What phone mount are you using?
Peak designs :)
People do need to get over themselves when it comes to these don't they. Time will tell with corrosion but a squirt with Atom-Mac now and again would sort that. Great little looker 👍
John, that ride back home from rivi had me GRINNING!!
FYI, closing your visor really reduces wind noise into the microphone 👍🏾
Who needs a visor if it isn’t raining?
All motorcycle manufacturers know the western world is on a downward trajectory and are preparing for the Indian and Asian markets where middle weights like 400cc/500cc are in demand.
So dont buy Chinees products, they distroy the western industry
❤❤❤
nice singing voice! :)
Must say the build quality is getting a hell of alot better, Don't forget the KTM Engines are built in China as well 😁. But for the price it's a very good.
390s and below are made in India
KTM Everything bigger than 390 is made in Austria…
We have a 450MT demo bike for you to borrow and try?
We are down at Smalley Cross Motorcycles, DE7 6DG!
How much does it cost in your country?
looks pretty good ,however I wouldn’t fancy sitting on the back as a pillion 😮 ,🏴
No one with a motorcycle driving license would. On any bike that is though…
Honestly I think reviewers are doing them a disservice by using 'cheap' to describe these bikes. They're affordable and remarkably good value for money
i want to see long term durability but they keep releasing every year version. i'm quiet concern now lol
DMCBirmingham is selling at £5700. 2024 model.
Must be the bigger nk as they aren't they expensive
❤
Something wrong with me today, I've spent the whole video playing double entendre bingo
haha
BTW, I heard one with an aftermarket exhaust & it sounded like a harley. Absolutely brutal! 😂
Yessss i can imagine!!!
Kate, try the CF Moto 450 RS (s), I did.....
Nice little sports bike.
However, I'm not a sportsbike rider, too old, too achy, too fat! 🤣🤣🤣
I'd love to see what you think, as a sportsbike rider, and a lover of smaller capacity bikes,
that, as you say, you can wring it's neck!!😄
I was meant to be getting one but it was sold from the press fleet before I got chance to ride it unfortunately
@UsernameKate Shame I think you'd really enjoy it!
Talk about value for money…. Via Moto in Barnsley has two, brand new, for £3999 !!!
Ah, “loins on fire”. It’s still there but a bit more subdued. 😁
Noticed it has CF400-7F on the seat pan. What’s that all about?? 🤔
Just the model code for it
Who doesn't like to flick up the box 😂
Seen this for £3975 on eBay new. That’s mountain bike money 😂. A Honda CB500F is another £1500.
cb 500 f , but close to 200kg
"Chi-knees-ium!"
Try a 8oo nk CF moto
Pretty red nose? Cold?🧐👍👏🇸🇪🙏
Cfmoto make some ktm
engines ..tell me if Im wrong?
You're not. CFMOTO 800 bikes use the KTM 790 engine. KTM distributes CFMOTO in the UK.
@@rickmancrcfmoto produces an engine BASED on the LC8 engine, that is NOT the same as the same engine to me….
@@motolab.EuropeanMotorcycles 👍 It would be interesting to know if there are any differences, other than the obvious external ones.
"I'm going shut up and going to ride" cime on Kate, we don't watch your channel for silence 😅
Round 'n round Kate goes
What she like, only her bottom knows.
It's always fun till it snows
Round 'n round Kate goes.
PS What do you thing of IB's new bike? An 87 Yamaha Tenere with kick start also.
How tall are you? I am 59 year old man and a little short, only 171cm?🙏👍🇸🇪👏
Why no one mentioned KTM when they review CF moto...🤔
Those bike are build both by KTM and CF moto
You forget that not everyone knows.
Sounds like your neck of the woods is as over regulated as California is, I’m sure at some point here there’s going to be a fart tax.
If they taxed shit in America they would make a fortune 😂
@@davespruce4362or fascists.
@@davespruce4362they do grift and support shit in America and it’s name is Donald tRump
Politicians will never tax farts with all the shit coming out their mouths they will get double taxed
Don't give Newsome any new ideas.

I'm really tempted to buy a Chinese bike and own it for about 4 years and see what happens 🤣
It's a pity that most advanced countries are going overboard with emissions when less advance do not care. Britain is cutting it's own throat. Sad that motorcycles will take the brunt.
Cfmoto are stealthily stealing ktms position in the market ...discuss???
They're all owned by the same company. CF, KTM and MV. All 3 are working with each other to some extent so while there is competition, the overall goal to the investors is that all 3 succeed.
Given the discount no one want’s them.
£4200 even if discounted isn't a lot of money at all is it!!!! Got that in my back pocket. It's Chinese shite, don't fall into the trap of destroying more western manufacturing and the Japanese market.
