My dad was a garage owner in late 50s onwards and he had a soft spot for sports cars and convertibles. He had many over the years, built a garage with electric door ( designed himself) as he drove with hood down in all weathers, tonneau on, wolly hat and thick black coat. Lovely to see those old triumphs out in beautiful scenery. Now an old man myself I still marvel at the old British cars, triumph, mg, jags, sunbeams, lotus, he even had a convertible mk1 capri once.

@@volt8684 wow great story. I have a soft spot for them too. That’s why I couldn’t resist sharing them. I’m glad it’s brought back so many memories

Hi Graham, I love the Llanberis pass it is so stunning, but I am biased to any part I know across the north of Wales as far west from Angelsey all the way to the east to Wrexham there is stunning places.
The Triumphs one in front of you is a TR3a and in front on that one looks like a TR5 I could not see it properly, were they LHD or RHD with French plates. Great stunning video, catch you soon Ride safe

That certainly makes a lot of sense. I wasn’t sure. You’re not biased! You’re spot on😊😊

    Dear Sir,
I am considering buying a new Vespa 300 GTS myself.
I've sat on one, and found it to be extremely comfortable - the ergonomics fit my frame perfectly.
I was just wondering if you've ever taken your GTS down the motorway, for a decent run?
If you have, how does it handle highway speeds, for a prolonged period of time?
I know that people say it will 'cruise' happily at 70 m.p.h all day, without stressing the engine out too much, but I would be interested to hear about your first-hand experience.
Many thanks for taking the time and effort to produce and upload your videos.
Stay safe, and hopefully I'll hear from you soon.
    Warmest regards,
    Neil (West Mids).

Hi, I did the A55 from St Asaph to Bangor on collection so kept the speed down. Well I tried to😂.
So very limited but no issues overtaking HGVs. I expected terrible wash from their bow waves as I passed them but no worse than any other bike. It’s going to be a few weeks before I can get a decent run and will report back straight away!

@@craigyllyn Hi, Many thanks for your reply. Yes - if you could upload a 'report' on a decent run on the GTS, it would be much appreciated. In the meantime, ride safe and take care of yourself. N 🙂

Had to put it on mute. I went full screen on my laptop and really enjoyed the ride.
