Over the past three years I’ve noticed the traffic getting worse and I mean far worse due to mainly road works that are totally unmanned for days. It makes me wonder if the government is doing on purpose to cause as much chaos as possible so they can justify pay by mile schemes and 15 minute towns. Well if we get to that stage and of course we will I’ll be turning my back on good old Blighty and getting the fuck out of dodge because I’ll be dammed if I’m being told when and how long I can go out for. Screw that. On a lighter note really enjoyed your video some beautiful cinematography. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Earls Colne bike show tomorrow if your wondering what to do. 🤘🏻
Sadly it's getting to that stage. I'm selling up, intention was to head into the countryside, but now leaning towards getting out the UK as unfortunately things don't look great for the future of the place and it's just getting stupidly pricey now for everything, and tax tax tax, and then more tax. Government never leaves us alone here, seem to squeezing every penny and freedom out of us.
You have really captured "it". I don't know the word(s) but it's there in your piece and I love it. It's expressing more than just a visit to Wales. it's about you individually, together, with the location and the majesty of the landscape. Love your work.
It's great to see a meal without ketchup. That looked perfectly appetizing. Mind you there was enough herbs in there to get you high. North Wales is wild and magical. I was there in September and had 4 days of Hot weather. Got sunburnt climbing Snowdon.
Don't know about yourselves but I never tire of riding North Wales 👌 as usual you captured the majesty and the beauty wonderfully 👍 thanks for sharing ✌️❤️🌞 FTW
I moved to North Wales about 18 months ago after many years living down south and working in London - I hadn't ridden a bike in many years and the mountains of Snowdonia screamed at me get a bike, get a bike, get a bike - so I did and have I've just had the most magical 18 months up in he mountains of Snowdonia and beyond the park boundaries as the magic goes well past the park boundary. North Wales is Gods land it is the physical 3d of heaven on Earth. I always carry a towel and swimming trucks in the topbox so I've also done lots of wild swimming in those wonderful lakes and waterfalls of Snowdonia - what an incredible place North Wales truly is.
@@cloudbasenirvana ah this is joy to read ! Good on you ! Magical place , when you get the sun up there is one of the most amazing places to swim .. I used to wild swim at the waterfalls in vale of the neath before the internet No one ever was there .. we’d wild camp 3 days only saw maybe two dog walkers Now .. it’s like a theme park .
@@LeanIntoTheWind I think you could live to be a thousand years old and go out riding everyday and never get get bored of Snowdonia - my Snowdonia extends to 50 miles(ish) past the park boundary, the magic is breath taking on so many levels.
Well shot, peeps. I knew an elderly Welsh woman in my youth, whose parents ran the Royal Oak in the last war. They made mushroom ketchup in the cellars, and she'd ride the hills on horseback as a young girl, to pick them. I hope you get to Nth Cumbria sometime, and you can both camp on my acreage. Great views of Cross Fell and Blencathra when the cloudbase is high.
@@LeanIntoTheWind You'd have loved her. She played the piano for the local church. Myself and my ex used to go around to hers for a cuppa, and she'd be playing hymns on her own piano. Then she'd break into singing and playing filthy Welsh rugby songs, see our jaws drop and laugh so hard she'd fall off her piano stool 🤣
I took my bike to the UK a few weeks ago to visit some friends and go on vacation, and the amount of traffic is ridiculous. But It's not overpopulation! It's because of terrible infrastructure. I'm from Holland and the road network is a lot less safe and logical than that in my country, I saw bike lanes on 70mph roads! At a number of points I thought the road design was actively trying to kill people. I still enjoyed going to England a lot, but it was in spite of all that. It leaves me with a weird feeling, seeing a beautiful country with so much potential that has just been squandering it for the last 50 years.
No we thank you for sharing. you are right Europe is great for the bike, that's why Vanessa & i love going every year. yes this once great land is going under & we could stop it but every so many years we have idiots that come along & say they will save us. But the only problem is them idiots are the governments in power at that time.

@@zozoa1 you’re so right !
I think in 80 miles of road works we saw 4 workers . Go figure !!
Thanks 🙏 for kind words

Sunburn & Wales not often put in the same sentence… but when the sun is out , is just paradise !!!
Haha no ketchup in my camp
Don't know about yourselves but I never tire of riding North Wales 👌 as usual you captured the majesty and the beauty wonderfully 👍 thanks for sharing ✌️❤️🌞 FTW
@@markshawreflections850 .. right with you ! Could spend months there . Thank you mate
I used to wild swim at the waterfalls in vale of the neath before the internet
No one ever was there .. we’d wild camp 3 days only saw maybe two dog walkers
Now .. it’s like a theme park .
@@LeanIntoTheWind I think you could live to be a thousand years old and go out riding everyday and never get get bored of Snowdonia - my Snowdonia extends to 50 miles(ish) past the park boundary, the magic is breath taking on so many levels.
👍
Well shot, peeps. I knew an elderly Welsh woman in my youth, whose parents ran the Royal Oak in the last war. They made mushroom ketchup in the cellars, and she'd ride the hills on horseback as a young girl, to pick them. I hope you get to Nth Cumbria sometime, and you can both camp on my acreage. Great views of Cross Fell and Blencathra when the cloudbase is high.
@@spindelnett6315 wow ! Thats incredible! Thanks for sharing that . Love those old stories..
Simply magical to watch
Thank you !!
Oh and 40 minutes for a FN cold coffee at a marina with the beautiful people 😂😳
I know, he does crack me up - but we did wait 40 mins and I had to chase twice 😂 not really our sort of place but the view was lovely 😊

My homelands ❤❤❤ Im from Amlwch on Anglesey
Beautiful !!! we was so close...
Yeah you got the uk roads sussed out !
Mayhem
Best wishes !!!
No we thank you for sharing. you are right Europe is great for the bike, that's why Vanessa & i love going every year. yes this once great land is going under & we could stop it but every so many years we have idiots that come along & say they will save us. But the only problem is them idiots are the governments in power at that time.
@@panam13stx amen to that !

New sub here, love it. Do lots of moto camping myself. Whats that site called please
Thanks so much for the sub - the campsite was Garth Farm Campsite , was a basic campsite with breathtaking views !! It was only £8 per person . 👍
Hi.. I've just recently started following you... I'd like to hear your opinion on this model... are there any problems... you probably service the bike yourself :)
@@uciecaledokad hey man , I done a review after 10.000 miles . Gave my thoughts then . Almost at 20.000 now ..
only problem is headstock badge is prone to falling off . So stick it down . Engine great . I change the 3 oils . But don’t do brakes . I just had new tyres and brakes done at shop . I’m really happy with bike so far . But as stock , had to change handlebars that’s the biggest complaint from virtually everyone
Evening Mark what camera you using for filming
I've been looking at the gopro 9
I'm guessing everyone is going to have a different opinion but you seem to have a good judgement on things
We got a GoPro 10 and one GoPro 11 .
They both do same thing .
We bought the 10 second hand to see if we liked making these films , but after the Italy trip bought a new 11 .
I don’t really notice any difference in either . They very robust .
Close up stuff like cooking , and some talking shots I been using iPhone
As it’s great too .
