  • @theYPa1
    @theYPa1 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

    Mistake I used to make often was I'd make the whole beat on my laptop or bedroom pc and then export the wav to the studio. I later realized you don't really notice the 808 acting up when you use these regular enhanced headphones. So the beat sounds good, then it gets to the actual monitor and it sounds like some torture room shid

    the truth is that there isnt no secret to mixing, it all comes with years of practice and training your ears on certain frequencies, and dont rely on buying expensive plugins to make your mix sound better, they are gonna make your mix sound worse cuz you dont know how to use them

    Since the melody is so much lower, the waveform dynamic is so far apart (because of the drum transients). How is the waveform full and consistent when I look at professional beats? I have used a clipper and that frees up headroom to try to maximise loudness but I still can't get my beats loud enough still.

      just a limiter to turn things up, you don't really need a bunch of eqs and glue compression and whatnot when mastering a beat maybe just add a soft clipper

      @@sjwbeats6290that’s because for him the mastering happens when the artist has already rapped on the beat. So it’s not like the end product is actually dry. If you wanna make a beat to be played like it were a song you’re gonna wanna put master effects on it to make it hit louder

      If your asking how to read the db of individual tracks, just select a track and look to the left of the master. Whatever track is selected will show the dab for that track tk left of the master track. Not sure if that was the question hope it helps
