MAKING A CRAZY BEAT WITH THE 4 DEFAULT DRUMS IN FL STUDIO!

- When you open up FL Studio, it will load up 4 stock drums automatically, a kick, snare, clap, and hat. If we are being completely honest these drums dont sound great, especially if we are making hip hop. So i thought it would be a fun challenge to try and manipulate them into more hip hop sounding drums. There's a lot of sound design that you can do in FL Studio now so the challenge turned out pretty well. Let me know what other challenge you want me to do!

Yes but you see just by tweaking the knobs the samples change completely, three six mafia always put alot of resonance on their hi hats and very unique snares this way. And their keys are very distinct (ain't got time for games). I once created a really dope three six mafia type beat with a little distortion on the piano basic instruments tweaked beyond recognition on FL studio 3 like 15 years ago lol with a qwerty keyboard.. these akai mpk2 mini's have me itching...
Challenge idea: You could make a beat only using sounds that you record of ordinary household items, i.e. silverware, a book, or a pen, but no real or virtual instruments

It’s fun watching producers make music with stock plugins because most people are always wanting the latest plugins, samples, everything because they need it in order to sound good, which is true to an extent, but seeing producers do this shows that all you need is a good imagination and to be able to some how avoid “producers block” 😅
